This interesting experiment from Clive Christian is fairly linear, combining the geranium/rose with undefined woody notes. The flowery notes by themselves would lead feminine, but the woodsy notes pull it back to the masculine side, barely. I don't detect any leather or lavender from this, but I am used to CC C and Bois du Portugal. It will last for hours wherever you spray it, however the undoing is the poor sillage. It is virtually undetectable to all but the wearer. While it is unique, and I appreciate the evocations it provides, it is too anemic for mass-market appeal.

My forth Clive Christian from the Noble Collection.... Man this is good stuff. I'm happy the Rose note is not prominent here, even though its presence is noticeable. I can tolerate that. To be honest, the leather here reminded me a little bit of the leather note in Xerjoff Cruz Del Sur 1. Although I like it, it is my least favorite from the Noble Collection (Cypress being my most favorite). Let's see how it develops.

This is masterpiece. Similar to that of Rock Rose, it has very purple fougere vibe. However, overall scent is more woody compare to Rock Rose, and more cynical, chic, cold scent compare to Rock Rose.
