XVII Baroque Siberian Pine

Just received this today. This fragrance is so so good! I would for say this leans to the masculine side. Off the rip I get the citrus and then the pine comes in after about 10 minutes. I feel this one will catch you off guard with the strength. At first it didn’t seem like this was going to be a monster performer, but after about 30 minutes, it’s just radiating off my skin. This is perfect for me living in the colder climate of Wisconsin.

Very classy and gentlemanly masculine gorgeous pine and citrus scent. Like most Clive Christian, it is very well blended and is not going to be an in your face fragrance. People can smell you from afar and in the room but it is overall a faint and extremely beautiful scent, that will be your aura for the day.

Discontinued CC, I think Russia exclusive. People say masculine which is true based on the notes, but it is structured as a feminine perfume. Russian Coriander is the same as 1872 Masculine and I can see how Siberian Pine has similarities to 1872 Feminine but it is definitely more masculine leaning. DNA and dry down are more feminine than 1872 M but less feminine than 1872 F, so I would say unisex.

I didn't make a link to 1872, save for perhaps some shared citrus notes. This fragrance is a masculine green aromatic, and straddles the line between chypre and fougere. It's a crisp pine and citrus scent, with lavendar, oakmoss, musk, sort of what you would expect in this type of "old school" or I might say timeless blend but it's done well. Longevity was well above average. Stays very green throughout and doesn't evolve a whole lot. It has a classy appeal, but no magic to be found, just all around pleasant.

Wearing this for the first time today and dare I say that it has an almost barbershop soap smell to it? Also, reminds me just a bit of Acqua Di Parma as well...more to come...
