Mushmallow

If I were a bog witch, I’d make Mushmallow my signature scent. It’s a savory/sweet gourmand. It seems unusual and it is, but it’s also very wearable. Mushmallow has the damp, earthy quality of mushrooms growing on the side of a fallen tree. You can smell the greenery, the soil, the moss. There’s a light powdery quality as well as a hint of spiciness, but it’s an aromatic type of spice. And mixed among those mushrooms is this subtle sweet vanilla custard note. Not overpowering or synthetic. It’s delicate and nuanced.

I went from HATE... to OK... to LOOOOVE. The first spray? Wet earth. Mushrooms growing. Almost off-putting. And then... something shifted. A quiet sweetness started to bloom—not the overused gourmand kind, but something raw, natural... like nature intended it. 🌿

What a wonderful earthy vanilla. This is different, you can really smell the damp earth, mushroom, and custard. The vanilla cuts the funkiness of the mushroom and creates a warm experience. The touch of orris adds powdery nuances. What I imagine Forks, Washington smells like.

My favorite from the line. Mushmallow feels like walking into a fairytale forest on a cold morning. The mushroom is incredibly realistic, evoking damp tree bark and soil after rain. There’s moss, a whisper of water, and a delicate sweetness from the vanilla that softens the earthiness without taking away its natural character. It’s haunting, atmospheric, and beautifully strange. One of the most realistic earthy fragrances I’ve ever come across—perfect for lovers of petrichor, moss, and the magic of the forest floor.
