Coach Dreams Starlight

Love love love this perfume. I layer this with the new Juicy Couture Just Moi & I love the combo. This one is a bit stronger imo though, but I don't mind. When I was in ULTA last month, I smelled quite a few fragrances. The tester bottle of this was basically gone but I got out what I could 😅 it definitely smells like pistachio, which I enjoy. But it also has that smell you'd get coming from the steam of an iron, or when you open your dryer and there are freshly hot clothes with dryer sheets, or sunscreen that's been warmed on your skin by the sun. I don't know what you call that kind of scent, but I love it. Picture that smell mixed with a sugary pistachio 🤤 I'm not one to wear gourmands really; I enjoy them on other people but I have never felt like they suit my skin chemistry as well as they do other on other people's. I'm a fresh fruity floral w/ musk girl. THIS, however, is not a sickenly sweet or edible type of gourmand. It's so pretty and just pleasant. Definitely worth checking out. It is one of my new favorite perfumes. I bought the travel size and I am buying the large 3.0 oz as soon as I possibly can - I'm half way through the travel size after only 3 weeks. Probably my favorite Coach perfume now and the most different to all others I own from them. P.s. I know everyone's different but I don't understand the review on here stating reminds them of Capri Sun. This isn't very fruity to me, though I'm sure the mandarin note has some effect on the fragrance profile (I love fruity perfumes anyway so it would only help my love for this.) This smell definitely suits winter time to me but I could see it being light enough/not too cloying for warm months as well. It's more of a warm vanilla sugar vibe to me rather than anything like Capri sun or fruit punch etc. With steamed laundry, like I keep saying, lol. So pretty. ♥︎•°¤☆♡

Sweet, woody, nutty, yellow floral, green, radiant, luminous, feminine, sensual, flirty, chic, charming, whimsical, enchanting. delightful, dreamy, alluring, tempting, addictive, delicious, intriguing, inviting, cozy, comforting Oh WOW is this ever Incredible!😍 I’m extremely impressed with it, and it’s even better than I’d expected! it’s definitely the best one out of all of the Coach Dreams perfumes! It’s absolutely full bottle worthy! It makes me think of a combination of BBW Pistachio Glaze and Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato. It’s gourmand, but also fresh leaning with woody and floral nuances. It does remind me of BBW Pistachio Glaze, Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato, SDJ 62, VS Pistachio Crème. I really enjoy Coach fragrances, and own several of them including Coach Love (OG 2012 version), Coach Legacy (OG round bottle) Coach Coach, Coach Poppy, Coach Poppy Blossom, Coach Poppy Wildflower, Coach Dreams Sunset, and now Coach Dreams Starlight too. I’d also really love to get Coach Dreams Moonlight! what i thought yum pistachio gelato was going to smell like!! unfortunately YPG smells like powdery hand wipes and bitter nuts on my skin. this is creamy, sweet, and fresh. i really enjoy the opening but it dissipates within a minute. it almost smells like.. a fruity ice cream at first? it dries down quickly into a airy, light, nutty perfume. this smells much more sweet on me compared to YPG. it’s not overly powdery either which is a plus for me. a relatively simple fragrance. very pretty and clean. i could see this being an excellent signature for someone. safe for any setting, it’s performing great in the winter and i think it will be light enough to wear during summer. 6-7 hours of wear, leaves a nice scent bubble around me. it turns into pistachio flavored cotton candy (?) after 30 minutes. starlight stays fresh for most of the wear. never becomes cloying or too sugary. definitely a love for my first perfume of 2026!

The simplified notes listed here don’t do this perfume justice. This is much more layered to me than that. So I went searching for a better break down and this is the best I can find that I agree with. Top Notes: Pistachio (prominent), Mandarin Oil, Orange Oil. Heart Notes: Ylang-Ylang (sunny/warm), Nymphea Accord, Patchouli. Base Notes: Sandalwood (creamy/creamy), Vanilla Absolute, Tonka Bean This is a beautiful creamy scent. You could easily layer this with other white florals or sweeten up overly woody scents. I’m going to try it with Libre because I think it will be so good!

I love this one. Solar floral, pistachio, and a lovely creamy element on my skin. I LOVE creamy fragrances. This is by far my favorite of the coach dreams collection and I own several of them.

OMG this is so good! This is what I wanted Yum pistachio gelato to smell like. I really don't like the original coach dreams with the gardenia, but this one is great.

this is actually lovely!! It's not the most thrilling, one-of-a-kind, or complex scent, but it's nice!! Me personally I don't really smell the pistachio note that much, it is very subtle. The fragrance has a freshness to it that isn't overbearing, it settles into the warm woodsy note of the sandalwood. Ylang ylang and sandalwood are just such good pair, it gives me the impression of warm sand by the beach, with the creaminess of a yellow floral being warm on the skin like the sunshine's kiss. Is this fragrance innovative or exclusively unique? No. But it is a nice summery scent that I feel most people would fondly acknowledge.

One of the few designer scents that I would call a true gourmand! I don’t smell any ylang ylang, to me this is 95% buttery pistachio and 5% something fruity. Not at all like Kayali pistachio, this doesn’t have the signature polarizing lime quality that has. Very similar to pistachio dupes and cheaper perfumes in that it’s very straightforward, BUT a lot of those smell kind of dusty and this doesn’t! Overall, 10/10 if you’re looking for a pleasant straightforward pistachio scent

You do get the pistachio but not in a cherry almond way. I almost smells like a fruity chocolate. It smells nothing like kayali. If anything it's closer to cheirosa. Like if you took cheirosa pistachio and added blue raspberry.

This is pretty good. To me it smells like Kayali Pistachio but not nearly as sweet. So maybe a bit of a more grownup version of the Kayali one.

If you have been looking for a pistachio scent that isn't fresh/clean or summery, this might be the one for you. Starlight is sugary, sweet pistachio. The pistachio is a little confectionery-like, but not in a caramelized syrupy way. The sweetness has a wispiness to it so it does not feel heavy (except in the initial 15 min). I could not detect ylang-ylang specifically, although the composition has something to balance the pistachio. It does not really say "yellow floral." If you are concerned about the waxiness of ylang, it is not here. Only in the tail end of the drydown can I identify it, and I have to press my nose to my skin to do so. It does remind me of BBW Pistachio Glaze, but Pistachio Glaze felt heavier and better suited for winter. If you enjoy one, you'll like the other. Even though this doesn't smell beachy or tropical, I think it works as a summer-friendly gourmand. It wears for 6 hours, and 1 spray is subtle but last long. If you want it to project, you can do 3-4 sprays. The bottle color is quite fun. I like this the most of the Coach Dreams flankers. It's lighter and a different type of sweet than Dreams Sunset.

It's not as good IMO as Coach Dreams Moonlight, which is a very pleasing and calming scent that I enjoy. I do have Kayali Pistachio Gelato, which is a stronger scent. There are some similarities however, I didn't pick up the ylang ylang at I'd hoped. I'll keep it, but will probably add a little vanilla or something gourmand to it. Possibly, adding My Way Ylang Ylang? Who knows.

Tested this on skin twice. I’m still learning my preferences so wasn’t sure how this would turn out. I was impressed by the pistachio on paper and skin. Very realistic. Not sure if I want to smell like that. On my skin, this fragrance was sickly sweet. I assume it’s the ylang ylang which I’m not very familiar with. It smelled like I was drowning in a sea of blooming Bradford Pear trees. That calmed down after a few hours. Great longevity on this one. It’s still icky on the drydown, but more tame. The first time I smelled this, I was busy after spraying so really only smelled the initial and then the complete drydown. So glad I tested again. Imagine: you’re eating a handful of pistachios that are dripping wet for some reason and you see some pretty flowers. Sniff them and you gag as they smell like cum. That’s Coach Dreams Starlight.

Meh - I got this as soon as I saw it on ULTA - blind buy, so it's my own fault - and I don't like Pistachio ... at all. However, I love the rest of the notes and wanted to see how a Ylang and Pistachio would mix. Well, they don't lol. This smells awful - at first blast on paper it's yummy and floral but has the sweet pistachio - then I spray it on my skin, and it's just a pistachio and a bit of soft floral. Not my thing. I'm sure on some this will smell amazing, and if you love pistachio, this is the girl. But for me - no thanks. I'll be sending this one back.

coach starlight is a fragrance that really surprised me. the pistachio is nutty and charming, accompanied by ylang ylang and sandalwood, giving it a warm and creamy base. its components come together to be very unique! its sweetness comes off as almost candy-like to my nose, and melts into the skin very soft and fresh. this one was a blind buy for me, i was enamored with the beautiful bottle and its description. it smells almost nostalgic, reminding me of a memory i cannot place. somewhere bright, sunny, woodsy. gentle spring air carrying the scent of yellow florals, green foliage, and the sweet scent of a dessert shop nearby. absolutely stunning to wear, i am grateful i took a risk and got the large bottle, i am in love!

This surprised me more than I thought it would. I don't really get the notes listed; instead, it comes off as a candy-sweet vanilla, like a melted slushie at a baseball game. It almost comes off as pear and berries instead of pistachio. I have Yum Pistachio and can't stand its powdery, overpowering scent. This is a beautiful scent that I can see wearing year-round, but especially nice for the Spring. It lasts about 4-5 hours on my wrists, but all day on clothing. If you like gourmand, candy-like fragrances, this is a safe blind buy.

finally an answer to what i, a gourmand lover, can wear in the summer that isn't some fruity cotton candy monstrosity. no hate to people who like those scents but it just doesn't feel very me. this is sexy, this is grown, this is the inside of a fancy resort on a tropical island. i actually do think this works for all seasons but probably would perform the best in summer. very excited to grab a full bottle for myself

Very sweet, generic REDUNDANT nutty vanilla. Vague buttery vanilla notes and a faint whisper of vague nutty notes. Definitely smells like SDJ Cheriosa 62. I think it smells slightly better than SJD and less synthetic but still redundant. It's 2026, PLEASE lets move on from pistachio notes in everything!!!!

to me it smells like a white floral had a baby with burnt sugar! There's a crunchy caramelized note that it quite lovely, and a dark vanilla scent. I wasn't sure I was going to like this but it's really delicious!

To me it's warm laundry mixed with tropic glow by tree hut then lost cherry in the dry down loveeeee

This is Kayali Maui in a bottle without the heavy jasmine note. It’s fresh and tropical. Very nice!
