Coach Dreams Sunset

10/29/21 I reviewed saying this was my new favorite fragrance. I am here now on 1/10/23 to say that my fragrance collection has grown from 30 frags to ...I don't know, maybe 80? I have not counted. This is still in my top 3 fragrances along with Caroline Herrera Good Girl which this smells a lot like, and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense which I only have a sample of. I will also say that I do not have any idea who would want to smell this on a man. It is Soooooo feminine, not unisex to my nose at all. It is sweet, a little floral, a little gourmand, to me is is still hard to describe and quite lovely. Also the bottle I have is almost beast mode with great sileage and lasts for several hours on my skin so I don't know why it becomes a skin scent so fast on others, must have something to do with body chemistry, normally perfumes do not last long on me. I think if you love CH GG you will also love this. I also want to do a shout out here for Dossier. If you are a frag head and have not tried Dossier, I highly recommend them. The dupes are very good and several of the ones I have tried, I liked better than the original perfumes as they smell better, and last longer. One perfectly powdery sweet gem. I was searching for some new fragrances and I came across Coach's perfume range and I have to say that I loved it. Think of Dreams Sunset as the best Dreams flanker out of the two available fragrances. This one is less floral, and so much more fruity with this powdery sweet facet to it. Literaly in love with that Pear Ice Cream note that really makes the whole blend a sweet powdery fruity fantasy, helped with the freshness of the Bergamot and the yummyness of the Vanilla, Tonka Bean. What makes the blend even more clean and creamy is this beautiful touch of Jasmine Sambac and the Magnolia. It is not a complex fragrance if you just look at the Olfactive Pyramid but it's definitely better to give it a sniff before buying it. It is perfect for each seasons, I have to say that the Pear Ice Cream makes it better for summer, but that powdery sweet facet is just right for spring/autumn/winter. It is easily a surprising scent, hidden little gem with an astonishing bottle design. I give this baby a solid 8.5/10

OMG I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE!!! This is my new favorite fragrance that I just added to my collection!!! I dont know how to describe it because to say it is a little bit fruity, an itty bitty bit floral and a little bit powdery totally does not do it any justice at all. It has a nice Sillage, I just put two sprays on my hands and wrists and can smell myself for several hours just going about my day. I absolutely LOVE this fragrance and I am not in love with other Coach fragrances at all. This is the nicest fragrance in my collection so far and I have about 30 fragrances total, (no Chanel just yet, hoping to add some Chanel soon). I really want to gush some more about how much I love this fragrance but I think I've said all I can say about it, I know that fragrances are very subjective, I have seen people who love some fragrances that I really do not like so just because I love this does not mean you will but for me this fragrance is just so beautiful. I am very happy I got a 3oz of it. Hope you love it as much as I do.

It's rare these days that I fall so hard for a designer perfume, as I wear mostly niche, but from the moment I smelled this I was obsessed and needed to have it in my collection. Both this and the OG Dreams perfume. I absolutely love "pear" as a note. Although it never smells like natural pear, whatever perfumers use as "pear" is just a scent that I love. It brings a fresh and fruity quality to a perfume. This does smell like pear ice cream and vanilla too. Such a unique scent that struck me as nothing like I have smelled before. Can't put my finger on it, but something about this perfume is really beachy too. To me, it has a very fitting name. The first time I wore this perfume, I wore one spray of Sunset on one wrist and a spray of the OG Dreams on my other wrist. I did not rub my wrists together or blend them. I wanted to see which one I would like better, but I couldn't choose. The scent of both of them wafting up to my nose was mesmerizing! They really complement one another.

Amazing! This was the first fragrance I got before leaving to Prague to go to my first year of college a couple years back. This scent was simply a delight in all aspects, for me it always smelled very much of a lychee slush, but after I realized it was pear ice cream that made sense too. It's fruity, but not in cloying way. It smells juicy, and quite creamy too. Always had a bunch of compliments wearing this perfume, and to me it smells like the transition from spring to summer; that perfect interval between the two seasons. It's balanced, and well-blended imo you can't pull the individual notes from it which is why to me it came off as a creamy/lychee scent. Last long on my skin, and projects very well. It's perfect if you tend to go for "clean girl," scents but this time want you to venture to something more fruity and dynamic if you're up for it. 10/10 one of my favorites.

I've had this perfume a few months now amd figured it was time to give it a review. This is a very warm scent, feels quite ambery, although it's not listed in the notes. I think the vanilla and tonka bean are what's giving it that vibe. It starts off with pear and tiny hint of the Bergamot to keep it fresh. I don't really get a creamy vibe from this, mostly just fresh pear. The pear not hangs around for about an hour or two before fading into the warm background. On the dry down this scent becomes almost spicy and leans a bit masculine to my nose. It's not a particularly sweet scent, I would say it leans more towards the warm and spicy. I am a huge fan of this and with the weather cooling down in this part of the world I think I will be wearing it more often. It's completely different to Coach's other scents and my favourite of the brand so far.

First off, a lot of the reviewers are saying that this leans masculine. Wow. Couldn't be further from masculine, in my opinion. This is the first Coach fragrance I've ever had, but I gotta say, it's perfection. Sunset Dreams really surprised me. It's everything I could ask for in a perfume. I love fruity gourmands but typically hate florals, but this one is balanced. I get the pear sorbet, jasmine sambac, and the tonka for sure. It's a lovely fragrance. If you like the sweet celebrity scents like Fantasy, Moonlight, or Cloud, but want something that leans a little bit more sophisticated, then this should be right up your alley. At least, for me it is. As for the longevity, it's okay, and so is the projection. Middle ground performance, I suppose. All in all, this is a very pleasant scent and can be worn day or night in any season.

Actually really, really nice. I'm a bit picky with my vanillas, and this one checks out! It's not incredibly unique by any means, but it's very well blended. A lot of these reviews have me scratching my head, so maybe it just works really well with my body chemistry? Maybe I'm just not an annoying Perfume Person? For me it's a sweet and creamy floral that's not overpowering. Not sure what's up with the people claiming poor or even moderate longevity, either, because after applying it in the morning I could still smell it when I went to bed. That's well over 12 hours from 2 sprays. I'm reviewing from a sample and I'm thinking of getting a full bottle. Price tag isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things, but I'm cheap so it's a little rich for my blood. On the other hand, I really do like smelling like this.

This is such an easy reach for everyday wear. I’ve already used up almost half my 3.4oz bottle in less than 2 months and I plan on repurchasing it. It’s sweet (pear and vanilla), but clean, it does not get cloying during summer evenings. A simple, youthful scent but a pleasure to wear, the price is affordable too. A fresh, daytime version of GG, and it also smells similar to B&BW’s Dahlia. I love layering it with a salty, non-sweet scent like Bvlgari’s Aqua Divina, it smells like I’m at the beach watching the sunset, drinking a pear-vanilla milkshake. Longevity is good, I can still smell it 5-6 hours later and sillage is moderate. Love this. PS. If you own Coach Dreams, you can also try layering it with Dreams Sunset, they are amazing together.

I just picked up a 60 ml bottle of Coach Dreams Sunset from TJ Maxx on Saturday night for $50. I already had both the Coach For Men EDT and Coach Open Road EDT, that I had bought from Burlington. I think I tried this Coach Dreams Sunset once at Ulta, but I'm not sure. I know I tried one of their feminine fragrances in a similar bottle, because I accidentally sprayed it on my hand, and I really liked the scent, so I took a chance on this from the rack store. I really enjoy the fresh, sweet, floral scents. It definitely leans feminine, but when I layer it with Coach Open Road, they really seem to compliment each other. I think this would be an amazing combo for a couple to wear, if only my fiance hadn't just ghosted me again a couple weeks ago.

okay WOW! i do not usually write reviews for fragrances on here but for this one i needed too!! I have not been wowed by a perfume in so long until this one, Coach sunset dreams opens with the most DELICIOUS pear sorbet note, quite literally mouth watering. This note doesn't stick around for too long which is a shame however the freshness from the pear does! I totally see the comparisons to GG but its like GG with an added pear note and muchhhh cheaper! It drys down to that beautiful almost powdery tonka and vanilla that i adore GG for! Anywayyy... its delicious, definitely packs a punch with beautiful protection and above average longevity! Its definitely underrated and could make for a wonderful signature!!

I do love this fragrance. It's a perfect light, creamy fresh scent for everyday wear. Good blind buy. It us a slightly inoffensive generic scent, but I don't care, I think it's lovely. First scents that hit me are pear ice cream and bergamot, then it dries down to a mildly lactonic vanilla jasmine vibe. Just a bit powdery, just a tad sweet but not too much. I prefer scents with relatively intimate village, and this fits the bill. While I want to smell nice, I don't want to choke a room with a scent cloud the moment I walk in. Honestly, I'd like to know how many sprays the reviewers that say this is headache-inducing are using, because more than 1-2 of any fragrance is way too much IMO.

I bought this because I love CH Good Girl but absolutely can not stand the bottle. This is a very good dupe. The opening for this one is a little rough but the middle is pretty close to twins. The coach sunset does seem a little sweeter which I absolutely do not mind at all. My other option was going to be buying the CH good girl refill and using a different bottle for use. I’m really happy with my coach sunset purchase and will be wearing this a good bit once the weather warms up a little. I liked it so much I gave one of my CH good girl to my daughter. Great job Coach. Edit—-my husband thinks it’s a closer dupe for Jimmy Choo I want choo which I also really love.

A creamy treat of a fragrance, great for summer! The opening is more fruity, I pick up the citrus immediately but then start to get a little pear. The dry down offers more creaminess, with vanilla, pear, and floral magnolia lingering the longest. I do smell the 'pear ice cream' note here, which is so wonderful! This scent is youthful, happy and reminds me of the beach. No aquatic notes listed but it does give me subtle saltiness or the faintest sun screen whisper. The creaminess in the dry down is sexy and sensual. Sunset is a good name for it. A crowd pleaser for sure. I don't think I smell pear in many fragrances which makes this one unique to my collection.

Soft and sweet, I love wearing this fragrance on days when I want something gentle, feminine, and inoffensive. There's something very clean smelling about this perfume, perhaps the combination of magnolia and sweet pear. It's much more mainstream than most of my fragrances, but hey, what's not to love? Decent longevity (6-9 hours) and lovely, soft projection of about an arm's length for the first hour or so, then the fragrance becomes more of an intimate experience. I got it at a discount. I was just visiting a Burlington, and I saw a 100mL bottle for $69... keep your eyes peeled if you like this fragrance!

My first thought when I sprayed my sample of Coach Dreams Sunset was this smells like my boyfriend after I cuddle with him and my perfume mixes a bit with his natural smell and his hair product. Definitely feminine but with a masculine vibe on the outer edge. Makes me think of all the things we do...therefore this perfume is extremely sensual to me. I love it! I truly love when a fragrance doesn't just smell good on its own merits, but evokes a visual that feels tangible - whether its a memory or a new, well, dream. This is a win just for the feelings it gives me!

I fell for this scent so hard and wore it all summer with abandon. It got several compliments from a wide variety of people. I love how classy this smells while still being fresh and almost decadent. This smells almost as good on fabric as it does on my skin. Not quite a blind buy- but only got one tester strip and knew it was on. I do find it a summer and spring scent. Anything above 70 (I live in Minnesota-usa) and I’m grabbing for this impulsively. Pear and vanilla in a sweet rich combo. Love it despite not being my go to scent profile.

Soapy, powdery, clean smelling. I love this perfume so much! I don't smell the pear ice cream note or pear at all but it's still refreshing and has an almost coldness to it that makes me think of crisp air on a cold day. Very cute and unique enough to be a signature scent to me! I'd absolutely would wear this year round, but it's nice and light and perfect for spring and summer. It's absolutely wonderful and such a beautiful comforting fresh clean scent.

This has slowly been creeping up to one of my favorites as the dry down is SO good. It starts off gourmand with a creamy pear and bitter bergamot. The magnolia and jasmine then peek through giving it a linen clean type floral. Then the base notes are just so good! I can see why people find this resembles GG, as it's a warm floriental. Other than that, it's not a GG dupe by any means. This is lighter, creamier, less spicy and a more everyday scent

I smelled it today in a store and I fell in love with it. I've got the original Coach Dreams and I love it too, but this one is definitely more fruity. I get a lot of pear in the beginning which I absolutely adore. I think this fragrance made me realise how much I love pear in my fragrances. I sprayed it on my skin when I was at the store at around 10:30 am and I still smell it at the end of the night. I think I will definitely buy it for sure!
