Iris Splash

I got my perfume Iris splash form Coach from Chicago and I live in Detroit and everyone always ask what my fragrance is. I love it and I just smile and let them know cant wait for it to come to Detroit so I can get another bottle.

This smells absolutely nothing like Iris. I tried it because I LOVE Iris, but this perfume smells like the sugary brew worn by every chick at at the bar on a Saturday night. Boring, banal and disappointing, it smells cheap in spite of it's designer's price tag.

Having only recently learned about the existence of Coach Iris Splash, I could not resist investigating further, despite the facts that Coach has not worked for me before, and I've heard nothing about this creation, though it was launched back in 2009. All of the mysteries were cleared up with a few spritzes on my skin, which quickly revealed to my nose that no plant life was sacrificed in the production of this perfume--er, juice. Why, surprise, surprise, this is a squeaky clean shampoo-conditioner fruity-floral frag like so many others being poured out of gigantic vats today and clearly training a broad swath of fragrance consumers to believe that they should smell like this! You know the story, whether you've smelled it in Bond no 9 Chelsea Flowers or Chloé Chloé, or the vast majority of the new launches available for sniffing at the Sephora wall. This is it, too. The color has been tinged slightly blue, no doubt to persuade the unwary wearer to believe that this scent really does have something to do with iris. This creation is NOTHING like Prada Infusion d'Iris. Of course, some people do not think that the Prada smells like iris either. Let's put it this way: Infusion d'Iris is about a thousand times closer to niche iris perfumes than is this. If Coach Iris Splash has been discontinued, it can only be because they made a marketing blunder by offering it only in jug format. This is the kind of juice typically used to fill tiny bottles covered with ornate designs and topped off with headdresses. Later they are relaunched successively in new bottles as limited edition flankers over and over again.

A very pleasing scent. I love the sweet but soft scent of iris and violets and how it gently envelopes me. The coach scents are very agreeable and so easy to wear. I purchased this huge bottle at the cosmetic company store were they had another floral splash. Can't wait to use it.
