Bergamot Amber

Unisex fragrance that leans towards men. Very good smelling. I smell mostly amber, praline, vanilla, and bergamot. Definite blind buy if you like any of the aforementioned notes!

I swear this is Sensual Amber in different packaging...I do LOVE Sensual Amber, but I was expecting a little something different from this one since it was part of a new line.

C.O. Bigelow Bergamot Amber is a fragrance I got after enjoying Flowerbomb on an ex. I originally disliked Bergamot Amber due to the nutty praline in the base. I kept it aside for years. I was moving things around and found it one night and decided to try it again. I sprayed it on and it is nice. I think it is a bit of a mix of Flowerbomb with some aspects of Yves SaintL'Homme but with a gourmand base from the praline. I think it leans feminine due to the florals, but still unisex. That said, men can pull this off. Praline to me is the most noticeable note. I do also notice bergamot and plum as well as amber. I notice some flowery aspects as well. I get moderate longevity and projection from Bergamot Amber. It isn't that bad and better from my other C.O. Bigelow fragrance, Elixir Blue but not the best from a cheap brand like Cremo. That said, this fragrance is on that I do not see Cremo being as daring to try. Cremo sticks to popular fragrances and mostly masculine scents. Bergamot Amber I see as a fall/winter scent. I don't know when this could be used sadly. I would say dates, but this could easily coming off as a feminine scent. For these reasons, I rate Bergamot Amber 6.5 out of 10. It isn't horrible but I wouldn't say it is anywhere close to being a great fragrance. I wish that I could find Sea Salt and Mimosa as an EDC. I love the bodywash. Sadly Bath & Body Works stopped selling Bigelow fragrances and products in general it seems.

I have to be honest-the only reason i got this because I saw it on sale in BBW for $5. Its very sweet and slightly smoky, mostly vanilla with hint of amber and prailine. I really like it and after spraying it, i couldn't help thinking that I smelled it before. And bingo! it is a dead ringer for Sensual Amber like the other poster said. I mean, its smells exactly same to my nose. If you like Sensual Amber, try this while you can. Since BBW is selling it for quarter of a price i am guessing they are discountinuing it.
