Vanilla Birch

Certainly similar to Mahogany Woods, but not exactly. The "mahogany" of Mahogany Woods is missing here, but the woody "birch" notes are surprisingly similar. (They're not very birch-y) There's an underlying floral note that makes this also remind me a little bit of Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon, which is another favorite of mine! (They don't smell similar, but they could easily be described similarly) The pear couples with the floral note and makes this a bit feminine, but still perfectly unisex. It's very light, a little lighter than Mahogany Woods, but it is surprisingly long lasting on my skin, making it 8 or 9 hours in spite of how light it is. (I applied 4-5 sprays to my neck to get the strength I'm looking for) Overall, great scent! My prediction is that this will be just as sought after as Mahogany Woods once it's no longer available. They are certainly similar enough in scent and quality!

I got this as a bday gift when i was still in highschool, cherishing the little I have left because this is top tier sweet fragrance, and it reminds me of when I was just a little teen smells like you poured vanilla extract on a pear

A lovely vanilla with the sweetness toned down by the birch. I think I do detect a faint hint of pear in the background. Great for spritzing anytime, works well in layering perfumes too.

Smells NOTHING like wild Madagascar vanilla. Nothing. Seriously? Um nope.

I was pretty butt hurt when bath and body works discontinued my favorite fragrance they ever put out (mahogany woods) but to my surprise, I went back into a bath and body works with my brother and came across this gem and bought it right there after a spritz on the wrist. bought this bottle and fell in love once again! Went back after some time for another bottle.... Aaaand once again those fools discontinued or stopped carrying another killer scent! Vanilla Birch IMO was the last really good fragrance they have sold since. I wonder if anyone from that company reads any of these reviews or gives two shits what there consumers have to say?? They have a missed opportunity with mahogany woods in itself. They could bring it back and sell it for $100 and it would probably sell more units than dark side of the moon! Way to go B&BW... I’m out!

This smells a bit like another B&BW scent, possibly Black Amethyst, and also a bit like their Mahogany Woods. I get some florals and a touch of fruitiness at first but then I mostly get vanilla, though not too basic. However, I didn't get birch. It's not too sweet nor musky, but with a touch of something "dark" (probably just the blend of the other notes). Overall, it's not a bottle I am thinking I "need," but it's certainly pleasant. I'll give it another wearing to see if I get more complexity, as sometimes occurs. Strength is at least good.

A similar vanilla to BBW Vanilla Noir, with flowers and fruit dressing it up and making it perfume-y. Nice though, but most of these listed notes don't come through. I mostly get a vanilla orchid-type scent with some wood notes. Pretty nice, but since I already own Vanilla Noir, I won't be buying it

This is wild Madagascar Vanilla in another bottle marketed for men. Want to know how I know? Because I own WMV. I picked this up without smelling it first from B&BW and got home only to find out that I already own this fragrance but under another name.

@tony5596 Isn't that just like Bath & Body Works to do that? I don't care for their marketing games! But I wish they'd bring back the awesome Black Amethyst: they could call it "Black Mist" or something and market it towards men. I KNOW it would sell!
