No 19 Warm Carrot

Oven roasted carrots drowned in spicy amber and lavender. Somehow it is intoxicating. Thanks to a kind Fragrantica reader, I got a recommendation for that one. Apparently I bought the last bottle available for sale based on a note from the perfumer herself in my shipping box. How nice is it :) It fits it's name very well : warm carrot. It's spicy and resinous. It's not a "fresh" carrot smell but you can still get the idea of a carrot. The lavender adds some sharpness and makes it more wearable in hot temperatures. Based on the notes it might seems like something only wearable during winter of fall but I disagree. For some reasons it makes me think of late summer harvest and it's golden fields of wheat. Truly uplifting. For sure it is of high quality and I literally cannot detect any synthetic note in there. In that sense it's awesome. It smells quite refined but does not fall into the "hippie" scent category despite smelling quite natural and quirky. Longevity is awesome and I can smell this one in my hair all day long. I knew nothing about that brand before buying that fragrance but it seems like a really interesting one.

Pleasant, natural amber, with a tight bite of lavender and orange, citrusy of labdanum. At this stage it reminded me of J. Fath's Bel Ambre. I also take balsamic medicinal puffs and clean ylang. In general I don't like the carrot note but it fits comfortably here without too much distraction. Definitely amalgamated, obviously sweet, overall simple and pleasant. okk

This is one of the most unique fragrances I have ever smelled. It's a dark, resinous, smokey carrot based fragrance that has a little sweetness from vanilla and benzoin.
