Acqua Wood

This one is stunning, I can't bealive I can't find a single review for this gem. One of the most under rated fragrance I know. Very versatile woody fragrance, better than all He Wood line IMO. Reminds me of a fall sunny day, hiking through a Transylvanian forest. Can't wait till tomorrow to get a bottle.

@gvd I definitely see what you're saying. IMO Acqua Wood is a similar woody balsamic scent but is more fresh and less dense than the Lalique. For me is a great alternative for in hot weather when Encre Noire A L'extreme is just too much.

I will use this fragrance a lot I know i really do not have to underestimate it _the woody note is aromatic & fine, on me the persistence is not excellent then i exceed with the number of sprays

I have no idea what's the praise for this one. I bought it as a kid when I had no clue about fragrances I just knew I wanted something woody. For me it smells like grandmas wardrobe that is full of fur coats and hadn't been used in ages. And is the only frag that I truly regret buying but then again it's very cheap.

One of the best fragrances I've smelled and one of the biggest hidden gems out there. This is a citrus aromatic which is light, delicately woody, spicy and with a clear vetiver nuance. A number of Bugey's DSquared releases highlight violet in similar fresh-woody compositions but this is much better without it. Non-offensive whilst smelling refined and quite unlike your run of the mill citrus-woody thing. It's more Water Vetiver than Water Wood but with rough edges knocked off the vetiver, a slight cedar touch to sweeten up the base and the perfect mix of aromatics warming up the heart. Performance isn't huge but that's the style and it's more present than you might expect - I've received compliments on the smell numerous times (including people picking up a bottle themselves). Worthy of a blind buy if the idea of a light, juicy vetiver type scent tickes your fancy. I own multiple backups, the matching balm, you name it - a personal 10/10 and one of the best things i've found on my fragrance journey. edit: my review is based on the version with the earlier bottle design. since Collistar updated their packaging (2023) it's no longer the same scent. and it's not a slight reformulation it's totally ruined :(

It's the mediocre packaging and unknown brand that stopped me from buying it a few days ago at Brussels Airport. I had never heard of Collistar, and the packaging didn't convince me at all this had a place in my collection - even though the fragrance definitely impressed me.

I would say this is Encre Noire A L'Extreme but in a different bottle. And thus a well blended woody fragrance with certainly vetiver as a base note.

I smell the cypress of Encre noir (not listed) which too soon leaves way to a remake of Amouage Enclave with almost no mint

How vetiver isnt a listed note is beyond me, this has a very similar vetiver to the one in encre noire...lovely
