La Rosa

What a nice surprise! I tried it a few weeks ago and I liked it on the spot. I opens very freshly with what I would call a blast of citruses, but it's not. They claim it's pink pepper. This phase is not long lasting, then the big rose sets in and it's luscious, classic, almost oriental rose, vaguely sweet but never sickening. You need to love rose to wear this one. A touch of fresher flower is probably given my the Lily-of-the-valley and a hint of magnolia. I really like the rose water effect, because it makes the whole blend more transparent and clean. I'm not a fan of the white musk, but I like it here because it's not cheap smelling, not dirty and not too high-pitchy soapy. The gentle amber accord is soft and not in your face, gentle enough for a spring/summer scent. The kind SA told me that it contains oud... well, surely not in big doses, if ever! This is not an oud combo. The whole fragrance reminds me of good old Stella McCartney original, not the same but with a similar vibe and remotely also old Tuscany for Women. In spite of the initial rich impact, it's an easy-to-wear fragrance that can be suitable for many occasion and surely longlasting. When I don't smell it anymore, others still do. I had a young lady chasing me along lanes at supermarket, then she get over shyness and simply ask: what is this beautiful perfume that you're wearing? She smelled it like "something fresh" after more than 3 hours.

Very feminine scent, I feel soft rose all time.

Here's a rose from a garden in full bloom after a downpour; the sky is still gray, but in the distance the sun is making clear that it will shine through the rest of the day. More than distinct notes I perceive a nice blend which starts fleetingly citrusy and then settles steadily into a rose mood. This phase is quite long lasting: here's where the rose, still wet from the rain, sends her aroma more and more round as time passes. It never becomes a dark rose (do not be mislead by the bottle!) but doesn't remains innocent either. For me it's a very nice rose, perfect in any occasion and, though perfect in spring, I love it in winter too. More on the elegant side than on the casual, it is a lovely discover which does not cost a fortune and is composed better than many other costly roses out there. Definitely worth a try, for me this is VERY BEAUTIFUL

Splendid rose elixir, I who don't particularly love it review it and I can only say "chapeau".... Sublime floral fragrance, as soon as I spray it I smell a fresh smell of green rose, no opulence here, only fresh roses like centifolia accompanied by a spicy tone (which I smell until the end), then the magnolia and lily of the valley strengthen its fresh heart even more /green, ends beautifully with a light musky vibe without ever weighing everything down, always making it fresh and clean, the first rose perfume that doesn't make me turn up my nose.... It's worth saying!
