Comme des Garcons 2 Flower Power

this is CDG 2 and I still love it ! it preserves well, as this 2005 edition bottle only just obtained proves - fabulous as ever. I do love this mineral/inkt note paired with incense and flowers.

I loved everything about this one- I was intrigued, it lasted, and I felt gorgeous.

i only own this scent because it belonged to my mother and she, being a woman who gets headaches from perfumes, gave it to me. (i wonder who gave her such an expensive perfume as a gift, since she never buys them! this is probably the fanciest scent in my possession) the smell reminds me very much of her even though she hardly wore it, mostly i just snuck into her room and sprayed it. i really love this scent even though most of the notes are far from what i'd go for. it's very sophisticated, luxurious, mysterious, and mature. to me it makes me think of a woman who wears lipstick and leather heels and travels first class. i'm sad to find out this was limited edition ... i only spritz this every now and then, so i still have a fair amount left. but i wish i could buy another bottle just for the nostalgia factor!

As far as I can tell this is very much your standard CDG 2. It does seem a little softer and brighter but that might just be the influence of the bright and beautiful bottle.
