Smelled this when it was released and instantly loved it. Didn’t buy it at the time because it was spring time and not warm enough to radiate the smell. Big mistake! Sold out and I couldn’t get it for summer. One year later a shop carried four bottle and I picked up two! It just smells nice, clean, easy, and relaxed for a summer day out and about, but the pool, at the beach, with some mates for a boozy lunch in the warm weather and feeling great. Even the office during the summer. I’m male and do find it slightly feminine, but very nice and almost unisex. Think of Black Orchid for Tom Ford in terms of wearability.

Perfect summer scent. Warm, soft and clean. The coconut is very strong in the beginning but i get a lot of vanilla after a while which was unexpected but very lovely. I'm not sure it actually smells of sunscreen but instead the idea of what summer and vacation would smell like as a perfume. My first thought was that this is purely a summer scent but because of the sweet and warm vanilla that comes through it could possibly be wearable in the cooler months as well. In my opinion it leans feminine but as always, scent is a personal experience.

Amazing perfume! Smells like summer, but it’s not weak at all. The coconut is quite prominent during the whole lifetime of the perfume. It smells exactly like the notes stated here. I can feel the sunshine in it and immediately transports me on the beach. I was surprised by the great longevity and silage of this juice.

Great take on sunscreen scent. It's nothing revolutionary though, I smell coconut, some tropical abstract floral. Typical sunscreen scent but better done than most other ones and relatively long lasting. Also, does not smell cheap. Again, Comme des Garcons is doing it well :) on my to-buy list.

To put it simply. I AM OBSESSED with Sunscreen. Its sex in a bottle and all the best things of summer you can imagine. Its invigorating transformative seductive beguiling and wonderful

As others have stated, my nose also detects a hyper realistic scene of 90's/early 2000's beach life, complete with people lathered up with ubiquitous Coppertone sunscreen, bronzers, and warm skin bathed with the scorching heat of Summer sun. I suspect a sandalwood note or accord that achieves this last bit, which seems to be part of CdG DNA. There are even hints of cheap, inflatable plastics and vinyl, from stores surrounding the beach. This is truly a work of art, capturing a picturesque moment in time, complete with some slightly subtle commentary about a time where we weren't as concerned with sunscreens harming ocean life (with the actual ingredients of the fragrance being listed directly on the front of the packaging,) and the accumulative waste of single-use, or rarely used beach items.

Smells nothing like sunscreen, rather surf wax. Like it nevertheless. On my skin the peach note dissapears completely and it becomes solely coconut, still like it alot because im always in a surfshop on vacation when I smell it, but I can really understand why other people dislike it. Wouldn't apply this in really hot wheater, the smell can almost become suffocating or nauseating.

Sunscreen, peach, coconut, and a feather light vanilla. It's creamy and a little sweet, but light enough to be wearable in the heat (I tried it). Leans slightly feminine but is ultimately unisex. A good summer option for people who like sweet and soft fragrances, and dislike the crisp freshness of citrus' and aquatics. Longevity seems ok-ish but sillage could be better.

I really like this one, I had it on me almost the entire last summer. It’s uncomplicated, very wearable, not strong, and in the end ideal for hot weather. Sometimes it gives me the vibe of toy perfume for kids, it’s definitely not a high perfumery, but it’s fun to wear it, occasionally. Safe blind buy, if you’re into coconut and sweet frags.

Apart from Sunscreen, this gives me “Coconut Tanning Lotion” vibes that I can’t shake. Those coconut chocolate bars - Bounty. Also Coconut Milk Sago Pudding. That’s what it smells like. A fantastic Summer fragrance. Low sillage, which is good, but it increases with exertion or sweat. A little letdown on the longevity for this one.

An airy, sweet coconut. Emphasis on the "airy". It's very light, but a little different from your typical sweet floral so it's still kind of unique. It's not too much like Vacation, if that's what you're wondering. Vacation has that synthetic vinyl note that is not present here and is a bit stronger.

This is more of a doll head perfume then sun screen. It's actually really really pretty I'm just not as happy because I wanted sun screen smell. If you like nobile 1942 the doll room you'll love this. Vice versa. Very pretty just not what I wanted.

Disappointed. I was expecting your typical, synthetic sunscreen, but instead got something very flowery mixed with some synthetic coconut. Not a bad scent by any means, just not resemblant of the sunscreens I'm used to smelling. Leans feminine.

spray it on before the beach over your sunscreen. basically a body mist to me, don't overthink it. I really like ERL's clothes and VENICE BEACH aesthetic and this plays on that while feeling earnest and approachable instead of "too cool."

A favorite coconut conditioner plus ‘Sun Bum’ sunscreen. Where this shines for me is the drydown. I get 8+ hours on this. The cosmetic/sunscreeny aspects fade and the final stages are all vanillic gourmand heliotrope softness.

airy and translucent coconut that somehow manages to be creamy as well. the sheer coconut + musk combo reminds me a lot of floral street’s arizona bloom. wish the sillage wasn’t so intimate

smells like peach gummies and Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen! i'm getting osmanthus but that might just be a fruity-floral gummy combo.

Sunny and heart-warming. Also cozy and feminine gentle... With the opening comes bergamot, but doesn't last long: heliothrope and peach create strong powdery sweetness and florality. For me, personally, it's bland and the combination with the lily of the valley is like shrill soap. Coconut turns the scent into lactonic, creamy chord, but I miss a depth. The cedar and musk are a bit shallow. Corresponds to the fragrance being light and sunny. Really not bad, very comforting and safe. Can be lovely summer pleasure. (Just not mine, sadly.)

I wanted to love this, but it smells rather strange to me. The coconut is pretty mellow, while the fruit and flowers are quite loud. Even though the fruity/floral notes listed are peach, heliotrope, bergamot, and lily of the valley, it all comes together to weirdly smell like ... maraschino cherry? It’s not pleasant. I’ll stick to Beach Walk.

very straightforward coconutty sunscreen, i can understand the baby doll head comparison with this one. i get a bit of dry woody coconut husk balancing things out but overall this is a pretty linear fragrance. longevity isn’t bad and it stays pretty close to the skin.

This is not a bad smell. It's just very basic coming from CDG. I get a lot of coconut and flowers, and musk. I get the peach too. Safe feminine leaning scent for summer. This smells like AIR FRESHNER. Doesn't give me any enjoyment. For this price, and coming from CDG who DO sometimes miss with their perfumes (really in the longevity department), this is an absolute fail. There is no "concept" of sunscreen. It's just bland and the hype is marketing, I'm sorry to say. I was expecting a scent like that of Concrete by CDG - intriguing name and very unexpected smell. This was expected and safe. I'm kinda worried about the trajectory of CDG parfums..all marketing, boring, and no ground-breaking.

If you're Scottish, imagine breaking a Macaroon bar in half to release the smell of the sweet coconut - that's pretty much what you get here. Brings back happy memories for me, but even if you didn't gorge yourself on those sweets when young, if you love coconut - you will like this. Very coconut forward for the first couple of hours, after which, whilst never disappearing, more of a fruity floral note joins it. In the end it is coconutty-musky. Really pretty nice. Lasts about 5 hours on me. CDG are probably my fave house - IMO this isn't one of their more creative scents, and might be a little sweet for many - but as usual they make a very wearable scent - whilst exploring unusual combinations. The foam case that serves as a box, is a nice step away from traditional design with its nicely engineered interlocking edges, and the bottle, unlike the 'pebbles' will stand on your shelf.

I love, love the coconut (and bergamot) opening, so it's too bad that it didn't stay long on my skin (less than 10 minutes), which amplifies instead the peach and lily of the valley. It was constantly sweet throughout, a dull type of sweet scent. By that I mean it is not sharp, nor the light airy cotton candy type of sweet for example. A bit sticky almost, definitely radiating. Warm skin baking under the sun. I tried this and Stussy at the same time, and it was Sunscreen that got an instant comment of days going for swimming and the beach. Both are long lasting, Sunscreen is the more challenging scent and as you can see my experience differs completely with the review below. Definitely try before you buy.

I got it some days ago, smelled fresh but airy and unique. Also, while really trying it on skin isn't a beast because it's an eau de toilette. Don't expect incredible performance, it's solid. Somewhat fruity with big airy coconut and white musk. From what i can describe is very transparent and airy coconutty. It's a unique fragrance, so it was more like a fun grab than I'm going to wear it everyday kind of scent. this could be nice for alot of people so i don't give it hate. For me is a good solid fun grab on my collection different from the rest.

This doesn’t smell like sunscreen to me. It’s quite sweet and fruity but still very fresh. Opening kinda smells like cucumber. The solar notes act as an aldehyde and keep it kinda zingy and sharp throughout. It’s not creamy or cloying at all. Unfortunately poor longevity and projection otherwise would easily be a purchase. Reminds me of sienna brume or st barts by Ouai.

It's a beautiful concept fragrance. Coconut with a slight plastic tinge that smells like it's being carried off your skin by sweat, even in the cooler months. It could easily belong in the olfactory library line. Definitely has that classic irreverence towards commerical conventions of fragrance the same way that CDG's line as a whole has.

This is less Venice Beach and more neighborhood pool. It’s the smell of chlorine washing out the last of the coconut conditioner that you used last night and eating peach rings on a white vinyl strap lounge chair. The sunscreen evoked here is creamy and subdued, more like an after-sun lotion than something that would have SPF in it.

I just discovered this at a store that sold this 50mL for £100, absolutely insane price point! It did smell like milk sweets to me, very gourmand scent, this smelled like that one shea butter you want to eat but can’t lol. It doesn’t project very well tho so it is inoffensive. If I can find this at a cheaper price I am sold!

sweet coconut milk sunscreen; the slightest hint of chlorine, although that might just be my imagination associating this scent profile w the pool!! this is a fun one, but i can't imagine paying for a perfume whose smell i can replicate by just applying sunscreen

Quite literally smells like sunscreen, so it's hard for me to dig into the notes. I get mostly coconut and heliotrope, with this squeaky plastic or latex note, a small dose of nondescript fruitiness. Super photorealistic.

Coconut is my favourite note, but this one is nauseating and bitter, not sweet. Straight up bitter sunscreen, zero natural coconut. Really wanted to like this, but I can’t even finish my 3ml tester.

Mango, not peach. That's what I get immediately. It's an overripe mango. I smell sunscreen but mainly mango. Coconut should be fresh smelling and this is just heavy and icky smelling.

One of my favourites, super pretty and clean, almost reminds me of a spa. Lasts for hours on my skin too! I’d say this is very much a unisex scent.

Doesn’t smell like sun cream, just straight coconut
