Milk Orchid

Oooooooouh. That was my first impression upon smelling this after stumbling into my local Sephora to go signature scent hunting and perfume smelling. I don’t have a lot of experience with this brand, but the very pretty bottle was what caught my eye originally. I love orchids, so I decided to give it a try. It immediately hooked me and it was love at first sniff. I went “omg that’s so good” and disposed of the test strip, moving on. Not even thirty seconds later, I was spraying it onto another test strip. Then another. I kept sniffing it like I was possessed or something, it was so beautiful and decadent and comforting, and the dry down was gorgeous and creamy. Some people have said that this smells very soapy, but I didn’t get that at all! Before I left, I sprayed it on myself (neck, wrists) so I could wear it the rest of the day. I think the projection is actually moderately strong. I applied this in the very early afternoon (noon-ish) and hours later in the evening (think 7 pm) when I was in the car with my boyfriend, he said he could smell it from the driver’s seat, but not in a bad/headache inducing way (yay)! The spray nozzle on the bottle actually worked TOO good and dispensed way more product than I thought it would, so maybe one single spritz on the neck area is enough instead of trying to hit every pulse point. Unfortunately, the price tag is a bit much for me right now, but I’m 100% saving up for a full sized bottle. It’s addictive and probably my favorite perfume I’ve ever smelled. Once I get it, it will definitely be my signature scent! On a side note, this has a similar scent profile to Cheirosa ‘59 (which is my favorite from Sol de Janeiro), so I think SdJ’s body care products in the ‘59 scent and the actual perfume spray itself would be fantastic to layer Milk Orchid with!

I always knew never listening to anyone and choosing to believe in things I've experienced first hand would come in handy (After hundred disastrous occasions of course) Milk orchid reminds me of a very specific smell from my childhood that I've been searching for years. Back in the day (So around 10-15 years ago, my phrasing made it like I was there during the French Revolution) my mother used to buy me these wet hand wipes and I don't know what kinda crack they've put in those hand wipes but my God I finished those packages in a couple of days because I couldn't stop smelling them to the point my mother had to stop buying them because I. just. couldn't. stop. And now I don't have to! Adult version appeared for my adult self... with adult money. As unhinged as it's going to sound, the initial opening smells exactly how a flower's breast milk would smell like. So, the lactonic here isn't in the fatty, gourmand way that we're used to. It's on the floral side but in such a soft way that it's soft the way flower petals are. First minutes are when the floral "freshness" is most prominent, which diminishes -or settles so to say- after that point. I would say coconut and milk blends well together that one cannot differ from one another. Soft. Is all I can describe this perfume. But do not mix it with weak or light. It is there indeed, but the sillage is so gentle that never does it irritate the nose, so overlaying doesn't even come into question. As I've aforementioned, the exact definition of this perfume for me is those nostalgic hand wipes I used to use (Also as a side note, do not let this make you think the fragrance smells like a cleaning material, it is far FAR from it) Definitely exceeded my expectations, another perfume my rent will go to.

I've been wearing this for several days. While I do want to wait for it to macerate a bit, here are my thoughts; Congratulations to Emma! I've seen people call this a "influencer perfume" and while it can be true- let's not discredit Emma here. She is a perfumery student and passionate about this. She has knowledge on the subject & I'm happy Commodity gave her this opportunity. If you're looking for a gourmand milk, or for something similar to Commodity's already fabulous milk line, skip this. Their milk line is sweet, ambery, woody toasted deliciousness. Perfect for the fall / winter. This scent is more so of a creamy fresh milk. Yes- it opens up with a beautiful coconut note, but this isn't a coconut perfume as I've seen people say. The coconut is fleeting. After the coconut, I get creamy fig and florals. It's a scent that feels nice and fresh. Green, fresh and very spring like. That's where I was deceived tho! I wanted to say this was a Spring/Summer scent, but hours into "Milk Orchid" I get a milky, sweet vanilla accord. The milk in this reminds me of milk and cookies, possibly because of the macadamia. As for the milk- think of pink nesquick (lol in the best way! I used to love that) It's a very sweet milk, which made me realize this is perfect for end of summer/all of fall and winter. Possibly a good spring scent too. But I wouldn't wear this during the summer when it's obnoxiously hot, because the milky sweetness takes you by surprise. I love it so far! Can't wait to see how this will smell as time goes on ✨️🌸🥛🌰🤍

I have all four milk variants in the tester vials by commodity, i am going to buy one of these but am testing out which version it's going to be. I use perfume by spraying one spray on my wrist and putting my wrists together (not rubbing, just dividing the liquid). Yesterday i used milk orchid, today i use milk -. Milk - feels comforting, not overly sweet and clearly has a milk tone to me. But i can't smell it while typing this on my phone, eventhough i just sprayed it and i am not wearing sleeves. It is thát intimate. I am not anosmic because i can smell it when holding my wrist closer to my face. To compare to milk orchid, which can be smelled across the room with the same way of applying. I actually had to wash it off this morning after applying yesterday morning (also one spray on the wrists). I like the smell of milk - more, but it's too intimate for me to buy because i don't want to have to overspray any perfume. Milk orchid is definitely femine to me, while milk - is unisex leaning feminine. I personally do think it is comparable to milk - in scent. Many reviews say it is completely different, but i clearly feel it is a younger sister out of the same scent family. Orchid is a lot sweeter and more coconut milk than sweet milk but theres definitely still a milk scent in there. Tomorrow i am going to use the normal milk version. I hope the regular milk will be more like milk - in scent but has more sillage (but less sillage than orchid has).

I've been testing/wearing my travel for the last two weeks. Immediately I recognized the Milk DNA, without the marshmallow and woods, instead dark fruit and nut milk. The first few sprays over a couple days were very green to me. Almost like Philosykos EDP. Also, very strong! But this is heavy on the plant milk. The initial spray is always a tad spicy to me from the magnolia, but it dies down very quickly. Which Im happy about as I am very sensitive to florals. Over the last week the milk notes have smelled very well blended. Making it feel and smell creamy like a soft whipped lotion. This perfume also smells like an actual scent releasing orchid. The scent is always a soft, cozy creamy, almost muted floral, lightly sweet like honey, and a touch of green. Im super curious about how this is about to smell and perform in FL heat this summer. I read some reviews of people comparing this to EB Miami Nectar, saying it has a beach-y, sunscreen-y, pineapple coconut scent. I picked that up slightly during the first two days of testing. Maybe I had it in mind..But now that I have sprayed out my bottle over the last 10+ days, I get soft and creamy plant milk perfume. Exactly what I wanted out of this since I can't enjoy the original Milk line because it triggers my migraines. I'm excited to layer this with Phlur Heavy Cream during the winter season.

In my opinion, Christelle and Emma did a fantastic job at making this fragrance unique but also versatile and an easy reach. I have smelled it through both cold and warm weather and it does not smell off in either. I think some people are disappointed because they were expecting a more gourmand fragrance but I love the fact that it isn't. It's really easy to bare in both indoor and outdoor settings because it has that clean fresh-out-the-shower vibe. I would even wear it to the gym. The milk here is more like a milky lotion, which I love. I don't recommend it, however, to people who expect a sweet, realistic dairy milk scent. I also didn't detect much similarity between the original Milk, which I'm not a fan of. Expect something fresh, slightly coconutty, musky, extremely smooth and creamy, not necessarily sweet. Edit: This perfume layers SO WELL with other milky perfumes it's insane 😮 Edit 2: Try it with Body Badalada 39 and Cheirosa 39, thank me later 😍

Wow, I don't think I've ever liked a fragrance this much. I bought the travel size and used it up in less than a week. As a fragrance collector, I've never finished a travel size, as I always switch between different fragrances, so that says it all. This is a beautiful, creamy floral. I definitely think you can smell each note, and they blend perfectly, but the orchid and coconut stand out the most to me. This is such a beautifully made fragrance. One thing I will say is that it sits pretty close to the skin on me. It's not strong at all, so I'm not sure why that's such a popular opinion. The longevity is pretty nice; it lasts my entire 8 hour shift. I believe this is versatile enough to wear day or night, all seasons. Don't let the coconut fool you; this is not a tropical scent (to my nose). This is a creamy, luxurious, feminine, floral with a beautiful nutty twist. I will definitely be purchasing a full size bottle!

I luckily managed to get my hands on a 2ml sample of this and omg...i love it. It feels like a creamy and lactonic take on florals- slightly suffocating, but in a good way, as if someone soaked some orchids and peonies in some full fat milk and i put my face into it. Reminds me a lot of a really spenny and luxurious hair shampoo/conditioner. I will say it is a very polarising scent, I get why not many people like this or dont think it smells any different from the Commodity’s Milk DNA (this isnt something i disagree with tbh, but this feels like Milk’s elder sister who lives alone in a fancy modern flat with fresh flowers in a vase every week). After spraying i could still catch whiffs of it in the air for a while, and I didnt need to respray until a solid 6 hours since I first sprayed it it lingered another 7. Overall, very worth it but try and get it second hand if you want to avoid that price tag.

I really love this, despite the fact that it smells terrible on my skin, where it smells overly nutty and woody and loses its sweet creaminess. But somehow it's sooo good on my clothes and hair that I don't even mind. When I avoid my skin I get a beautiful creamy coconutty orchid. I really hope I can find a dupe though because it's way too expensive AND sold out right now. I got a travel size before it sold out and I hate the fact that I now have to use it sparingly, especially since I doubt the full size will be back in stock before the Sephora sale is over. Without the sale I can't afford it. I wish the scent bubble lasted longer. I can only get whiffs of it for like 2-3 hours after applying. I can still smell it most of the day if I go out of my way to smell my clothes/hair, but I wish the projection was longer lasting.

This is such a GORGEOUS fragrance. It didn’t hit me right away, but I sprayed some on my wrist in Sephora and gave it a few hours. What started off as a creamy, floral but figgy coconut scent (which smells exactly like a Hollister body spray I had when I was younger) developed into the MOST delicious lactonic, woody, musky and creamy dry down. I had Milk expressive on my other wrist, and the dry down of this runs rings around the original. It’s so creamy, sweet and delicious and doesn’t feature the slightly intense woodiness that Milk does (any many don’t like). Yes, it’s more floral than some may imagine, but the combination of the floral notes with the fig and coconut is truly divine, and smells just like a luxurious body lotion or milk bath. This is cosy, comforting, delicious and perfect for anytime wear.

wowowow. just picked this up at sephora after they made it a permanent addition. this stuff is amazing. upon spraying there is a very strong almost ginger-like note that comes from the magnolia and to be very honest it is pretty overwhelming but WAAAAAIT. give it time to develop, i promise you will not regret it. the dry down is silky smooth and creamy while that floral note just gently hovers there and projects off your skin. this paired with guerlain vp is a dangerous ass combo. any spicy warm vanilla will transform this from a spring scent to a full autumn/winter scent. very versatile and office friendly. 8.5/10 not as milky as i would hope for being that it's called "milk orchid" but it's still a great scent.

im obsessed, im addicted, im floored at how good this is to my nose. i smell it anytime i feel stressed or sad and it brings me so much happiness. needless to say, emma ate :3 it is decently long-lasting and especially so on clothes and i adore how i am able to constantly catch whiffs of it throughout the day. im a barista and work 6-hour shifts at a time. the smell of coffee usually takes over but i could still smell whiffs of it after the fact and it makes me so happy. it creates this scent bubble that is so comforting and i feel like im being hugged all the time. i also get a lot of compliments which doesn't matter but it's still very nice nonetheless. it's happiness in a bottle to me <3

i am here to fight for justice for Milk Orchid!!! i understand that this perfume has been extremely overhyped online, but i promise you she is LOVELY!!! she has a very sweet coconut cream forward opening (not a beachy/sunscreen coconut, but a creme de coconut), but settles down to a beautiful sugared vanilla pink orchid scent. this scent is for someone who wants a pink, fluffy, pretty girly everyday scent, she wears bows in her hair, stays hydrated, moisturized and in her lane. it almost reminds me of a grown up version of the PINK body sprays we all loved growing up. so so sweet, comforting, and overall a lovely perfume!!! <333

I originally smelt this in Sephora. I was trying to find a good gourmand perfume to replace my Glossier You Rêve which does not last. I hated it on the paper tester. I sprayed it on my own skin and initial scent was very strong and polarizing. I smelt it after getting home and I was throughly surprised. I could not stop thinking about the scent for weeks. It was sold out for a while in the travel size. Eventually, I was able to get my hands on it and use it everyday now. It lasts the whole day and the scent lingers on my sheets for days. I am definitely purchasing it in the full size when I run out. My new favorite perfume!!!

Not love at first sniff but really grew on me as I wore it. It’s a very creamy and soft scent, I smell mostly coconut cream and some florals. It doesn’t feel like a sunscreen or beachy scent. I hear people think it’s masculine but I find it quite unisex, I can smell the sandalwood maybe that’s why people associate it with being “masculine”. It’s very long lasting, lasted the whole day on me, but it’s also not too loud and in your face. I love how it’s milky and lactonic without turning sour, I feel like this perfume is the concept of milk rather than straight up dairy milk. Very suitable for all seasons except hot weather

LOVE HER!!! i swear some of yall just love to hate on an internet-ty brand with an influencer collab just for the sake of sounding ~different~ i love this, it's the perfect creamy floral for a pink-floral hater and gourmand lover. yes, the instagram ads got me, yes i am just like the other girls and i wouldn't have it any other way!! the wear on this is so pleasant, summery, and inviting. it's exactly as described and the longevity is great. my one and only gripe is the price point, after all this IS just a hyped internet brand, not a niche frag house or a designer staple. because of this, i'll be getting a travel size

Just got mine yesterday, tested all throughout the day and applying when needed. Can easily say it's a really nice scent, while milk is subtle at first, I personally love how the floral notes compliment the milk notes making neither feel like it's overpowering the other. You easily could wear this during any season, I found that today in the cold, it seemed to linger a bit more in the air. So maybe more of a Fall/Winter scent, but fresh for the Spring. I can see it working in the Summer, although I feel like the sweat + scent might throw some people off. Still love this perfume though, 10/10!

I wasn't expecting this kind of scent profile at all from the notes, but I am pleasantly surprised! I loooove this DNA! The opening is very similar to Fursan White, which I absolutely love, and it's like a milky, creamy version of Miami Nectar, an absolute favourite of mine for summer. However after a while the scent becomes veeeery faint, linear, and quite honestly a bit bland. Still nice, soft and sweet, but it loses the appeal of the opening in my opinion. Not sure if I will purchase a full bottle after my travel spray since Fursan White is much less expensive.

My experience with this fragrance has been quite the whirlwind. I purchased a sample from a decant shop a few months ago and upon first spray I hated it! The notes felt messy and it was way too strong. I immediately sold the sample. Fast forward to the recent re-launch at Sephora and I randomly decided to test again while in store. Completely different experience! I could clearly smell the delicate florals mixed with creamy coconut and macadamia milk. I felt myself falling in love! I repurchased a travel spray and may have to go back for the full bottle soon!

For me, this one lived up to the hype. It is a wall of a smooth, lactonic coconut milk that has a cashmere-esque vibe without as much of the static I tend to get. The floral is there but not in a sharp, blooming way, it’s subdued and complementary of the other notes. My skin agrees with this and it blossoms really well, but I think in warmer weather can get cloying. The dry down is my favorite as it’s a milky powdery skin scent that lasts the rest of the day. Translates well in hair, clothing will carry the cloying vibes for longer.

I was worried this would be too coconut heavy for me as I’m really not a fan due to it pulling to “sunscreen.” This was very lactonic! It’s a beautiful smooth milky almost velvety fragrance. It’s sweet but not too sweet I don’t get much coconut thankfully and the dry down is lovely. I do find it fades easily on me which is a bummer but this has quickly become my current night scent. Something about it is so relaxing and comforting to me. My husband absolutely loves it!

This has basically become my signature scent at this point. There’s a juicy fruitiness I get right at the opening that is so uplifting and positive. The fragrance has a beautiful, lactonic, creamy warmth from the coconut, fig and warm cotton. If you’re looking for a new signature, this is so beautiful and modern and perfect for every occasion. If I smelt this on a woman, I would assume she lives a very positive life and keeps a clean home. 10/10

I impulse bought a travel size of this because I like watching perfumerism on yt and orchids are one of my favorite flowers. This is such a nice “for fun” fragrance like after a shower around the house or something but not for going out, the smell fades quickly kinda like a scented lotion but it’s so yummy like almond milk, fig, creamy coconutty sandalwood I love it but not gonna buy a whole bottle to use regularly, definitely using this up tho

i don’t know where everybody is getting coconut from!! i love this so much, i just bought it yesterday and im wearing it today. i think its a nice daytime spring scent. i don’t smell coconut at all. it is slightly floral and sweet but not overpowering or sickly. i think it does smell creamy and it’s quite nice. i also like the fig and cotton smells i’m picking up. i rarely find a perfume that sits on my skin well and this is so delicious!!

This is a gorgeous creamy, nutty floral scent with some greeness to it. Just the right amount of sweetness. However since I own both Nafais Sharq (creamy floral from Khadlaj) and Sweet Cara (coconut cream and nutty florals from swedish brand Essnce) I don’t feel a need for a fullsize bottle. But I love this comforting and beautiful scentprofile and will enjoy my mini 10 ml.

I really like this, it’s a gentle fig not too green or reminiscent of cleaning product which is something fig can feel like to me. It’s super well blended, it has this feeling of freshness but it’s also warm and cozy at the same time. It definitely has a laconic undertone, in a body lotion not a body butter way. It’s not thick or cloying but subtle and soothing

This is so so so good, I bought a 10ml and can't wait to buy the big bottle. It's so girly and creamy, soft and comforting. I wouldn't say uts a safe blind buy for the big bottle. I keep reaching for it on days I want something I can just lean into and feel like I'm wearing a soft wooly sweater. Such a compliment getter

This is an incredibly addictive fragrance, and is not similar to anything else in my collection. A very milky coconut opening eventually gives way to an ultra Lux lotion smell and I am so here for it. I cannot wait for the bold version, whenever that’s released. I literally want to bathe in this. Longevity is excellent.

Quite floral and soft milky sandalwood with rounded milky fig and coconut. This leans feminine. Easy to wear. I can understand that overspraying might be a bad thing. I love Santal Blanc and Philosykos this shares features with. Grounding perfume. Layers well with SDJ 59. Rating 8/10 FBW for me.

An absolute love. The opening hits hard with creamy coconut and sweet fig, rich and milky from the start. But the real magic happens in the drydown....wow. It becomes soft, elegant, and beautifully grounded. The florals blended with that salty sandalwood are just perfection. Seriously well done.

I honestly really like this... I don't get any fig -- it's both creamy/nutty but also powdery. I can see how it might lend more unisex but I feel super feminine wearing this. Sweet and rich with moderate projection. I got a mini but would lowkey go for a full bottle next time!

This is more fig milk than regular milk. I was expecting it to be more of a floral milk but I’ve been looking for a good creamy fig perfume so I’m not mad. The florals are there for a little while but they eventually disappear.

For me this was worth the hype. It’s interesting, unique, soft and creamy. Reminds me of Kayali Wedding Silk Santal. It has a boozy quality to it, like a glass of Bailey’s.

This is really nice, but not at all what I was expecting- it’s so fruity/tropical! It almost reminds me of Cheriosa 62, but with more depth. It’s a perfect summer scent.

A really gorgeous coconut milk scent. The most perfect clean girl scent without smelling like soap or shampoo.

Every time something highly anticipated is finally released (music, tv, perfume) everyone needs to say its the worst thing in the universe and then after that first wave, people actually give normal reviews. This is gorgeous. It keeps some earthy woody lactones like the original Milk, but otherwise shares no DNA with it. The addition of coconut and fig milk add a beautiful femininity the original lacks. I don't get any almond, but some of the soft airy sweetness of actual almond blossoms which is nice. Over time there develops a very slight buttery coconut oil scent I don't love, and I'm personally not a fan of orchid in perfume, but those are my only critiques and are not really faults of this perfumes. The coconut note is also not tropical or overwhelmingly synthetic smelling which I am soooo happy about because I love coconut but have never smelled a coconut perfume I'd actually enjoy wearing because they're either too sunscreeny or just...SDJ Cheirosa 39...but this one has a pretty authentic coconut note!! That being said, if you hate coconut, you're not gonna like this perfume, for me its definitely the strongest note and can see it being a little overwhelming. EDIT: while I do still really like this perfume, the fatty, coconut oily, buttery note does seem to get stronger over time, so keep that in mind I guess?? Layering with a more floral perfume like Gucci Bloom is lovely!

Ive sat with this perfume for 5 days straight, trying to wrap my head around it. Its definitely unique. I havent smelled a perfume like it, and no I dont think it resembles Queening or Miami Nectar. I blind bought a bottle and I am keeping it! I went from liking it, to not sure, to liking again, and now I find its an easy daily reach. The best way to describe this fragrance is like wearing Jergens Almond & Cherry lotion but minus the cherry 😆. Its a similar smell to Milk & Honey hand soap. Its a very smooth, creamy lotion smell that is nutty with very light florals. Nutty - but in a very light, smooth, macadamia way (not a sweet SDJ pistachio way). Its fleshy, buttery coconut. Not sweet at all. It is VERY light. This is not beast mode or going to leave alot of sillage. For this reason, its a great office fragrance. I can understand people saying this is in the "sunscreen" realm but its really not a screechy & sweet coconut in my eyes. I have had multiple people compliment this fragrance, and tell me it smells cozy, creamy and/or warm. I have come to love it, but I understand why people are let down because Emma is the Queen of milk fragrances, and you don't really get that from Milk Orchid. Its a creamy, nutty, lotiony vibe.

I was pretty wary of this due to the heavy presence of coconut in this one because that is a note I do not typically get along with, but this one wasn't terrible. That said, I am a bit disappointed with the lack of a forward milk note in this. At first spray, it opens with coconut, fig and vanilla orchid like I had expected. But as it dries down, it turns all airy, waxy coconut and magnolia with a hint of orchid; very lotion or sunscreen-like, feels like the beach or a summer pool day, but lacks the sweetness, creaminess, and milk note I was expecting to last throughout. In fact, I didn't get a milk note at all. As a lover of Commodity's Milk, I was hoping to see a proper flanker but this just doesn't hold up to the original. I like this fragrance for what it is, but I wish it had been called Coconut Orchid, or simply Coconut, because I feel very misled. I let my sample sit and it became sweeter and more like what I had been expecting—I definitely enjoy it more now. But I ordered a travel size that arrived today and it definitely lacks sweetness fresh out of the box. This is one that has to sit for a little while to reach a higher potential.

It opens with something thats reminiscent of a peachy sort of note? Then within minutes it settles into a heavily synthetic, almost plasticy, almond blossom & coconut. Meh. I love commodity fragrances but I’m not really into this at all. About 4ish hours in, the harsh, artificial nuances fade and leave behind a really pretty milky coconut with hints of orchid and sandalwood. But ugh. The journey to get to that point was rough. The notes were super intriguing but I was definitely disappointed with the off putting synthetic notes. Though I find it more wearable after a few hours, I still don’t really care for it. Updating to say that I continued to wear it and I think the synthetic notes are coming from the almond blossom. Other than that, I really do enjoy this fragrance once that fades away. This has a beautiful evolution process and lasts forever on skin. There’s something so addicting about the dry down of this fragrance. It’s not a love for me. But I can appreciate it for what it is.

get the travel size! i really fell in love when i smelled this in store but as soon as my perfume arrived, i noticed the smell was very different to the probably macerated tester perfume in the store. yes, it has a beautiful nutty almond tone with a cold milk accord. however, the flowers throw me off a little. i dont know if its just me, but floral notes in gourmand perfumes always smell like a perfume stall in your local drugstore: just a whole mess of florals and mixed fragrance notes.. i also get a sharpness from the florals, maybe its the fig accord. sadly cant smell any magnolia, even though its my favorite floral scent. about longevity: the milky coconut scent as the top note stays for around 5-10 minutes for me, same for the almond macadamia notes. all that stays is a floral, slightly woody coconut base.

Like all of the commodity line I wouldn’t recommend blind buying as its scents can be quite polarizing. This one is very warm and simple tho, great choice for any one who likes gourmand. I get way more milk and sugar in my skin than the floral, it’s almost overpowering. Very feminine scent, I’m a masc leaning girly so it’s not quite my style but I would enjoy this on someone else. I do agree with the other reviews saying it’s a very basic scent profile, but I think the longevity and silage is beyond what you would get from a B&BW body mist so that balances out the price. Overall great scent, smell it before buying and note that it is very feminine leaning despite being marketed as unisex. Also do not under any circumstances wear this in weather above 75 degrees

I really liked this one when I first smelled it - it was very unique and intriguing, yet comforting. On my skin, the tropical/coconut component really came forward, which was not bad, but coconut is a note I tend to prefer in small doses. What stood out to me most was the performance - for a skin scent, this had great projection and longevity on both my skin and clothes. It’s the kind of scent I find myself craving, but only in moderation. Update: I tried this again and I like it more than the first time I tested it. There is a mildly addictive quality about Milk Orchid. It is also a unique scent IMO. I'm not sure if I would want to smell like this 24/7, but it's a very lovely scent.

this is such a beautiful, inoffensive spring fragrance! perfect for a picnic or honestly even just the office. the opening is a delicate floral that quickly dries down to a gorgeous, milky sandalwood with a touch of almond. i can see how fig milk is a note but i wouldn't consider this a FIG fragrance at its core by any means. this is more for the folks who like the concept of fig but nothing green like philosykos or bold like figue erotique. this would make such a lovely gift and is a very safe blind buy but perhaps not remarkable in a way that makes it a MUST have. luckily i have the travel size right now and i will definitely be keeping this one in my purse!

Got this as a sample with their archive bestsellers kit. My initial though was that I really like it, but I definitely smelled something like this before. And then it hit me, this is just L'Occitane almond body oil + vanilla. The vanilla is very strong and then there is the same synthetic milk note from their original milk fragrance. The projection is good, as I'm writing this - I can smell it all around me. I think on the dry down it's much more pleasant than the first sniff. If you already have commodity's milk, I don't think you need this one. Just layer your milk with some vanilla or the almond body oil and you're golden <3

I bought blind a travel size. When I first spray it I hated it. The first 5 seconds I got Pina colada, then a very sharp green masculine note came through and it was horrible. Hours after, and after trying to wash it of my wrist the dry down came through and was amazing so creamy and calming. I left the travel size in my car for 1 month of hot days to macerate and it helped a lot. That green masculine isn't there anymore thank God! I will keep using it but I won't buy it again. It really has a beautiful dry down that lingers in the clothes until you wash them. I just wish this perfume was all about the dry down.

The opening is delicious, the coconut is very prominent at the beginning, and the atomizer is very good. This is a coconut perfume, very floral, nutty more creamy than lactonic (i think this is not a lactonic perfume IMO) and it has a woody base. I imagined it differently when I received it and tried it for the first time (like Blanch Bété or more gourmand or feminine scent). I like it, but it's not one of my favorites, even so, I'm happy to have it. In my opinion, it's super unisex. It reminds me somewhat of Vanilla Powder. My rating is 7.5/10

I tried this out on both paper and skin today. It’s a beautiful lactonic fragrance that smells more keen to an elegant lotion. The coconut is prominent throughout the life of the fragrance, and I definitely get a little jammy vibe from fig milk. While on paper the sandalwood and nuttiness developed and balanced the fragrance, unfortunately the gardenia pulled scratchy on my skin in the dry down. I could see this being a versatile signature scent for someone else!

I loved it at first , but the floral notes started to bother me . All I could think was this smells purple . Anyway you'd imagine purple flowers to smell like , I'm pretty sure we'd be thinking along the same lines . I can't put it into words. Overall , I love the creaminess . It smells divine , and aaaalmost smelled similar to Brown Girl Jane's "Dusk" which was tragically discontinued . Close , but no cigar ... cause of the purple .
