Dapper

Pls guys just go for this bottle. Amazing. This was inspired by the James Bond movies. I love it. Definitely Bond’s daily wear.

It had all the makings of being a great love for me: the nose behind it is absolutely top-notch, the brand is prestigious, and the notes seemed perfect. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy it, but that’s purely a matter of personal taste. It features a prominent leather accord, though quite tamed, reminiscent of Memo or Acqua di Parma, with bright citrus on top, an aromatic green facet in the heart, and in the base (my least favorite part) an aquatic note that recalls several designer perfumes, a scent profile I personally dislike. That said, I still recommend it, as it’s the sort of fragrance that many people will enjoy: a blue, aromatic perfume with the distinctive twist of leather that pushes it slightly into a more niche and sophisticated territory.

@ksj_ I agree Ive seen the whole comporta line they all have a vintage hint to them like perfumes 30 years back. I love them. And you will slowly start telling the notes apart on first spray its pleasent but you cant really pick up what happening unless you have a developed smell.

I get heavy aldehydes, some citrus, some cucumber, and a confusing olfactory experience. I’m not sure this is a good scent to my nose unfortunately. Maybe after spending more time with it, I’ll understand it... but probably not.
