Who thinks this smells like Ciara?!? I've had Ciara for decades..watched it's evolution from rich & intoxicating to the watered down version it is now. All I have to say is, NO WAY does this smell ANYTHING like Ciara. NOW that we have THAT ridiculousness out of the way.. This smells like saffron, Amber, LOADS of leather...rather masculine leaning, imo. Smells like something from Penhaligon's..which isn't a bad thing, as Penhaligon's is pricey! I don't smell Lily, no raspberry..no vanilla really.. This and Avante Garde smell a bit like dupes. The performance is stellar. I wouldn't mind smelling this on a guy but not on me. I'm a bit surprised to see Comptoir Sud Pacifique coming up with scents such as these .. they've already been done. 🤷

I passed by the CSP boutique a few weeks ago and I was gently offered to smell their new extrait de parfum (the three of them) and I was hopeful since they're supposedly vanillas. They are not really vanillas, they are certainly not bad but not sweet at all. I got a sample of this one, and it is the one I prefer but way too leather prominent for my everyday wear (I prefer sweet and lactonic fragrances). I would say if you like tobacco and smoke, this might interest you more. I will however say I have already smelt this type of scent at every single niche brand : incense, leather and a bit of fruity notes. I wore it a few days and could not smell it on myself after a few hours. Sadly will not be buying.
