Coco Figue

Great comforting summer fragrance. Mostly coconut and vanilla with just a touch of fig. Definitely would have preferred for it to be a bit more fig forward. Still a great no brainer buy for any tropical fragrance lovers. Performance isn’t huge but I get a decent 4-6 hours of good projection before it becomes a skin scent. Works great as a base if you’re into layering summer fragrances or if you want to add some creaminess to gourmand fragrances.

I love fig and this doesn't disappoint. The fig is bright and fresh, wisps of fresh milky coconut musk. I don't get suntan lotion at all, just fig and glorious quiet coconut. It smells sunny and fresh. Perfect summer scent. Longevity is fair for an edt, 4-5 hrs. (PS. BBW At the Beach is a similar scent, not the same but close, at a fraction of price.)

Deliciously coconutty. Slightly earthy fig. The wheat note adds something really interesting. A sweet, fresh coconut that's green & woody and doesn't smell like jazzed up suntan lotion. Not too sweet, very milky, totally unisex.

I love it, a moderately sweet and airy coconut with a tinge of fig (barely noticeable). Somehow this smells elevated and uplifting, airy and perfect for a hot summer day. Longevity could be improved.

I don’t know why this has such negative reviews. I love the coconut and fig in my sample and plan to buy a bottle very soon. It is creamy and seriously beautiful.

Oh wow... this is probably the best coconut scent I've ever tried!

This smells like a coconut-flavored salty butter cookie - edible milky coconut with wheat. And like most others, I sadly get zero fig, which is what I most wanted from this fragrance :(. Thankfully, as another reviewer noted, the coconut here is far less assaulting than the one in CSP's Coco Extreme, which I found so suffocating and sweet that I had to get rid of my bottle immediately. This one is more tolerable and not very sweet at all, but I have numerous other scents I'd rather wear. It's nice and simple, but not what I wanted, which confuses me because I did smell a figgy coconut when I tested in store on paper...i think I will try this again in warm weather to see if I get anything else from it. Sillage is soft to moderate and longevity moderate in cold weather.

I was postponing my review for this perfume because I wanted to try it properly; first of all, i am coconut lover , vanilla sucker but gourmand! by that I mean that I hate how majority of coconut perfume smells; either they are heavily strong like coco mademoiselle or sunscreen like coconut passion VS or mixed with flowers. Its impossible to find perfume that smells like lactonic, sweet, coconut.. so this one, I saw on sale for 39 eur and I was like ok, why not. I love fique as well, why not, blind buy! and I dont regret it. someone can say it has hints of sunset screen vibe but dry down is sweet, sugary, milky coconut. I dont know if I want to purchase it again but definitely worth it to try if you like milky coconut because its not so many of them

Coconut & fig make a very happy marriage - they are that couple that dress alike, finish each other's sentences & never seems to argue. Coco Figue is dry, warm, milky & has kept the sugar low (unlike other coconut/fig offerings which can turn my stomach). It is a super, simple coconut delight!I detect only a little ripe, sweet fig. The scent of sun-warmed creamy green fig leaves is very apparent & CF compliments the fierce summer heat without becoming heady. Sillage & lasting power are tame to average but CF is a great coconut treat to make you think of white sandy beaches, BBQs & smiles - ideal for mixing.

Coco Figue doesn't evolve much on my skin. I barely gets a hint of sweet ripe fig. The star of the show is coconut, dipped in vanilla flavoured milk. The wheat is detectable, adding a dry texture to the scent. Like other reviewers have already pointed out, it's a milky yet dry fragrance, with a good dose of sugar added in. The sillage is moderate and the longevity is around 8 hours. I wished the fig could be more prominent so that it could really make a wonderful dual with the coconut. Unfortunately, it's not the case on me. Nonetheless, it's a playful tropical scent to enjoy from time to time.

It was a blind buy to replace the Coco Extreme bottle I finished at the time. It was supposed to be an easy grab for layering, beach trips, or spritzing while I'm at home, similar to their Coco Vanille, Vanille Extreme, and Coco Extreme. I found Coco Extreme to be much more sophisticated than that. The fig note is realistic (crushed leaves, not the fruit) and somehow cooling (temperature-wise). I was still able to use the full bottle as intended - longevity and projection is not there for anything more, as expected. Just beware that it's not a super simple fragrance.

This is not like Shunkoin at all! So for anyone wanting to get a cheaper Shunkoin-like perfume, this is not it. Creamy mildly sweet coconut is what I am getting. Not overly sweet and I am not getting the fig either. Not bad, just disappointing since when I ordered this I was expecting to get something like Shunkoin as during that time about 3 people voted it is like Shunkoin. Anyway, it is a nice milky coconut scent and that's about it.

i love both coco and figue and yet i did not have a wow feeling with this.... It is not the most remarkable creation of CSP but it is not bad either. Actually it is inoffensive and light, unsweet coconut smell with some green woodiness Provided by the figue. if it was stronger or more lasting I probably would give more credit

A fresh scent, not too sweet nor too bitter, with a milk light and fruity enough. About me lasts a long time, and I love it. I must say that after 5 hours, do not know why, I feel a bit of cocoa ... is a pretty tropical scent and sweet. Each substance is in harmony with the other and in my opinion is a perfect summer scent.

It's a like not a love. It's coconut fig and milk...nice. Suited for warm temperatures. Light and sits close to the skin. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but if you like fig and coconut notes, it's worth trying. Just keep in mind that respraying often is necessary and spray on clothes for a longer lasting performance.

The name says it all: coconut and fig. Both somewhat artificial unfortunately. I would have preferred less coconut and more fig. Gets better at drydown. Could be appropriate for hot summer nights. Update: I believe CSP scents are made to be worn in hot weather. I cold weather they might appear "slightly" out of place.

This is a ultimately a coconut scent. It's has more of a creamy vanilla feel to it despite having quite a few chances for fig to come through, which I can get every once in a while. Longevity isn't the best, and it can be a bit cloying at times. Won't actively repurchase, but I didn't hate it.

This is just "okay" for me. Smells like coconut scented shampoo. Mostly sits close to the skin, but longevity is decent(around 7 hours) Edit: The more I've worn this, the less I like it. There's something really gross about this. Very synthetic & headache inducing in the summer heat.

This is very much like Bath & Body Works Brown Sugar and Fig. Since BBW doesn't carry it anymore, I think CSP Coco Figue is a good alternative. More expensive, but better quality I would say. Has the same delicious notes of coconut, fig, musk, and creamy, milky sugar. Lovely!

Unlike other coconut concoctions by Comptoir Sud Pacifique, this one has a true organic, natural almost green coco and fig scent. Could be even a unisex perfume. I actually like this one very much, never thought I would prefer coconut-fig to coconut-vanilla!

Another CSP that is very linear to me. Doesn't develop into anything, and I mostly get coconut, very little fig. It's a nice, sweet fragrance but it doesn't wow me.

This smells like a freshly cut coconut - not like a dessert, not too artificial. The greenness of the fig makes it a bit more balanced, natural. Very, very lovely!

I got a sample of Coco Figue because I love all kinds of fig scents. As StellaXYH says below me, however, the fig only has a little part to play in this fragrance; it's really all about the coconut (as the note pyramid suggests, when I think about it). And it's not that light, fresh kind of coconut either, it's the full-on, in-your-face, sweet, creamy kind. Combined with the milk, wheat, vanilla and sugar this makes for an overpoweringly sweet creaminess that hits you in the face with the force of an asteroid, approximately. For a slap in the face it's not bad; I do like sweet scents and the fig (leaf) does offer just the tiniest bit of green relief from the onslaught of sweet cream - but if you're looking for any degree of subtlety you really have to run the other way from this one. I only used two sprays this morning and I'm afraid everyone for a mile around me will think I went crazy in a patisserie, slathering myself with creamy coconut confections. I don't dislike it, and it becomes a lot more wearable in the drydown as it calms down, but I think my sample will be all I ever need of this one, and I won't wear it outside the house again.

It's not a terrible perfume but it's definitely not worth the price. It doesn't even smell niche... It's a super sweet and synthetic-smelling coconut mixed with another fruit. If the name weren't Coco Figue, I'm not sure I would have been able to identify this other fruity note as fig... I definitely get the warm milk and sugar accords though. Projection is pretty good for the first couple of hours, then sillage becomes really intimate. Longevity is actually good for an EDT. It's okay but I find this release a bit surprising for a niche brand with such a beautiful history.

I can see how people would like, but for me it's a bit too sweet. I thought it was going to be more of a fig scent, but the coconut is very strong, which is good if you like love coconut. It's a bit too strong and sweet for me, i think its a scent id get tired of quickly. It kind of reminds me of a body spray i used in Cuba. I think you could get a coconut perfume for a lot cheaper. The sillage is decent at arms length-6 feet, and longevity is about 8 hours. The next morning there was a faint smell of white musk which I enjoy. It's okay, I wouldn't keep if gifted

I love fig and coconut. My issue with this one is that the drydown has this powdery metallic vibe that is unpleasant. I've tried layering it with other things, but that unpleasant powdery metallic quality keeps zinging my nose. After trying several fig scents, I do get some fig leaves/branches in there, not so much the fig itself. For comparison, I love the fig and/or coconut in Philosykos, SoCal by Hollister (got this one by happy accident), Marc Jacobs, St. Barts Set Sail, etc. I keep wanting to love it but never get there.

The fresh figgy opening is absolutely delightful! Unfortunately the dry down it sweet, flat, bland, and boring once the bright fruitiness burns off. Review of travel size that came in a set. Decluttered.

opening is quite nice, accurate notes, mild, but dry down was plasticy and rubbery (you might like if you don't mind plastic notes)

I can't tell if I like this or not. I definitely get the fresh coconut milk and sugar, but there's something dusty about it lol

Not sure how i feel about this one, its somewhat creamy and reminds me of a coconut pastry.

I’ve been wearing this for a few hours after getting a sample, and I must say I feel like a turkey stuffed with figs and coconut, then basted in salty butter. Do you remember the episode of Seinfeld where Kramer takes up sunbathing and discovers that applying butter instead of tanning lotion gives him a richer tan? I smell like he must have smelled up there on that apartment rooftop, all buttered up and browning under the sun. Stick a fork in me, Jerry; I’m done! This is an unctuous, cholesterol-packed, salt-sickly fragrance for those who enjoy eating from a tub of Spishak with a soup spoon. It’s so nauseatingly buttery I can’t believe it’s not butter. Scent: 0/10 Sillage: 5/10 Longevity: (most unfortunately) 10/10

I’ve tried 3 of the fragrances from the Eaux de Voyage collection, and I’m sorry, but Comptoir Sud Pacifique has no business charging premium/niche prices for their EdTs. All the ones I’ve tried (Coco Figue, Vanille Coco, and Vanille Blackberry) have been very synthetic, one-dimensional, and overly sweet with no balance or depth. As EdTs, they also have almost zero longevity or projection. Coco Figue was the least cloying of the three, but I haven’t even been able to find anything I can layer these with as they’re immediately drowned out by any EdP, due to their own weak performance.

It's weird how people get a difference impression from the same perfume. I am still trying to find where the fig is in this scent. I can not find anything else but coconut, vanilla and something sweet, maybe sugar or cotton candy. Being a sweet scent I do not agree that this is a summer fragrance, at least to be worn in a tropical summer country like I live in. By the way, even the coconut smell that I love, in this fragrance it is so artificial that the only thing I got was a terrible headache.

I really loved this when I got it in a tester. The coconut was milky and sweet and then you had the wonderful fig and greenery from the fig leaf so I decided to buy the bottle. The bottle made me want to gag because it almost smelled like bread and the coconut was plasticy. I got overwhelmed and felt sick. Sadly a scrubber. I’m so sad about that because I used the tester for DAYS just to be sure I liked it. Maybe they changed the formula, I don’t know.

There are other notes in this besides the fig? Really? All I got out of this was fig, fig, and more fig. I don't care much for fig, but since I love CSP's other fragrances, especially their coconut ones, I gave Coco Figue a whirl. The fig scent was so strong I swear it burned my nostrils :0 Ugh, won't be using this again, not even for an air freshener.

Synthetic coconut dominates throughout the life of this perfume; fig pulp, vanilla and lots of sugar in the dry down. Smells like a candle from T.J. Max, nothing remarkable in the execution of this composition. Too “fake” for my taste.

Very similar to At the beach - Bath & Body Works. I don't like it. Some of the ingredients irritates me - maybe I can smell something like very unpleasant salty note. It isn't creamy nice coconut at all for my nose.

I don’t think this is at all ‘unisex’. The coconut is very creamy, but it is not a fresh coconut smell. This is a very good ‘beach scent’ But not a classy beach scent this is more a easy reach spritz . 5/10

The coconut is the star of the show. The sweetness level is not to those of praline gourmand cotton candy. It doesn't smell like sunscreen, but rather, it smells like a waxy coconut in a candle.

coconut scented acetone with a touch of fig, dry down is much less chemical/sharp, and becomes just a whisper of a sweet coconutty fig leaf.

To me it smells just like suntan lotion. That's what people comment to me when i wear it. I won it on line, i would never have paid for it.

I didn't like it. I found it very harsh and somehow it didn't mix well together.

Fig and coconut have married well in a number of niche perfumes. How do they fare chez Comptoir Sud Pacifique? The answer to the question is simple to ascertain, thanks to the literal naming of their perfumes, in this case: Coco Figue The opening suntan lotion accord of this creation is identical to that of Coco Extrême, which should be no surprise since both carded samples claim to feature these key "notes": Pulpe de Coco Amande du Tonka Mousse de Lait Chaud Poudre de Coco Vanille de Madagascar The difference between the two perfumes, notwithstanding the distinction CSP draws on the cards between "Sucre Craquant" and "Sucre Candy" (probably a marketing team production error), is the presence of Feuilles de Figue and Coeur de Figue in Coco Figue, both of which are absent from Coco Extrême. Also listed among the notes of this perfume but absent from the official pyramid of the other is "Lait Coco". All in all, it seems safe to say that the original perfume has been dressed up in fig leaves along with a smattering of fruit. In fact, this does not smell very fruity to me at all, and I smell more fig wood than leaves. In any event, the result is a bit more pleasant to my nose. After the Hawaiian Tropic opening, the fig comes through enough to make this seem much closer to a perfume rather than just another suntan lotion facsimile scent. Still, one must tolerate the Hawaiian Tropic opening to be able to wear this perfume, and I'm not sure that it's necessary to do so, given the panoply of fig-coconut perfumes available today, many of which exhibit quite a bit more refinement than does Coco Figue.

I have to say that I don't find this at all sweet like many other people do. It took me a long time to decipher my feelings about this perfume and to be honest, I still don't know how I feel about it because although I don't dislike it, it certainly wasn't what I was expecting. Firstly, as many others have pointed out, the fig is very faint and only comes in little whiffs here and there if I am lucky (and I imagine most people, like me, would be buying this perfume because they love fig-I mean this sounded like a dream to me, coconut and fig together, 2 of my faves but the fig is a phantom fig...). On the positive side, when I do catch the fig, I have to say that it is a very real fig tree smell which I have not found in other fig fragrances which are usually very sweet anfd fruity. This fig has the woody, earthy, unsweet note which hits me whenever I pass a fig tree. If only you could actually smell it for more than a fleeting second! As for the coconut, definitely not a sweet, creamy, suntan lotion coconut on me. Again, for me, this coconut is very close to 'real' coconut, as in, when you're in a tropical country and you buy a coconut to drink, the huge, green fruit which when sliced open is full of coconut water. It's one of my favourite drinks though I find it so hard to describe-very watery and earthy. That is the best I can come up with, and that is what the coconut part of this fragrance conveys to me. As for sillage and longevity, sadly, next to none for me. Overall: far too faint and not enough fig but on a positive note, I have never smelt such an authentic coconut fruit smell.

This fragrance and vanilla abricot from comptoir sud pacifique are my very favourites from this line.I was lucky enough to get these two scents in the classic metal bottles because they have reformulated these fragrances and are now sold in glass bottles and they do not smell the same in my opinion.Tropical fragrances are my very favorite to wear and I love coco figue.It is a mix of earthy,warm gourmand sweetness with a milky creamy smell but dry as well.it is winter here where I live and all though this smells good I think these scents smell better in the spring and summer.They are very beachy and summery.This scent is well blended and I can smell all the notes but the fig,coconut,milky accords and sugar smell the strongest.I can see how some say this smells like EL bronze goddess because of the coconut but bronze goddess is much more floral with a warm sun on skin smell almost a solar beachy floral.Coco figue is very dry and creamy with no floral notes and is very sweet.If you love beachy exotic fragrances with a touch of sophistication give this a try but try for the classic metal bottle if you can still find it.This is paradise in a bottle!

Ive been a long time fan of CSP fragrances. Ive also watched them reformulate their fragrances, to my dismay. Unfortunately, these days, they are weak and do not project as much as i wish. I had not been interested in testing this particular scent before because i assumed i would not like it, as i am not a fan of fig scents. But i decided to get a small bottle (blind) recently. I love it! This is a gorgeous milky coconut scent! Absolutely delicious. I detect zero fig. Its very close to CSP coconut extreme but better. Hard to describe. Milky with that subtle wheat accord which only compliments the coconut. Like all the rest, however, its weak. But, it does stay on my skin a long time. Like a pretty skin scent people who get close will just think its your natural smell. But, skin scent or no, i might need a full bottle. I was planning on getting another bottle of coco extreme but i will be getting coco figue instead.

To me this is the most natural green "Real" True to Coconut scent I have ever smelled. Slighly milky w/ a hint of Fig. It does have the Hawaiian Tropic ish smell, but I love that. Especially since Hawaiian Tropic barely smells like anything anymore. I don't like it as good as Caldrea Coconut Fig Leaf, but that has been discontinued. I want to add, this does not smell like BBW Sea Salt Mimosa. That one has flower & salt, this does not have. It happens to be one of my faves, & discontinued also. I read a comparison to BBW Brown Sugar & Fig, to me it's way different, I never liked that one too much. As far as Bronze Goddess, that is a beachy scent, but has spice, where this has milk. So those aren't the same either. This is runner up to me, after the Caldrea & that is the only one is comes close to smelling like to me.

I love csp, coconut and fig scents so i ordered this unsniffed from amazon at a reasonable price. This honestly smells like coconut suntan lotion and i dont really detect fig on my skin. The drydown is much prettier, coconut/vanilla that i actually like a lot. If my mom likes it i will give it to her, she loves coconut! I am not fond of the suntan lotion beginning, but the beautiful drydown comes after maybe 6 hours after the fragrance is applied. Im not sure its worth the wait-but if my mom declines, i will gladly keep it for my collection. Its not terrible, and if you are fond of coconut suntan lotion smell, you will like this very much! It has good lasting power- the pretty part seems to last a day or 2- making this the longest lasting csp i have found yet. Interesting.
