Jasmin Poudre

Beautiful powdery perfume, elegant, not boring, strong but not in your face- like other powdery fragrances. Very nice for spring and fall. i like it a lot, and it is long lasting. On me this beautiful fragrance smells like i am deep inside an enchanted forest, with large trees, i can smell the soil, flowers like iris, and there is powder, something magical all around me when i walk inside this marvelous place...

i orderd a 2ml sample and tried both on paper and skin, and either they mixed up the samples either i dont like it😄 too much on the woodly ( oudy!!!) notes for a scent named like this. and definitely unisex add: today i wore it to the office and got various compliments from strangers.

Less complex than I hoped, but a strong smell. Different from the usual!

The name is definitely on spot because it is powdery indeed. My issue with it though is that the notes don’t combine very well, in my opinion. I’m not a fan of rose and it’s quite prominent here. Same goes for the ylang-ylang. If they skipped those notes I believe this would be much more wearable. But on the other side - this is supposed to be ”oriental” so I understand the combination of the notes. It’s not a bad scent though, but you have to enjoy roses to fully appreciate it.

I'm surprised that a perfume with many notes I love can be so unpleasant to my nose. I'm getting a lot of this bizarre, vaguely sweet-smelling moistened wood - I suppose this is the calamus? Dry and powdery, and goes bitter towards the end. Not sure about the name here, "Jasmin" implies some sort of floral prominence, but unfortunately, I'm not getting any of that here. Try on your skin before you purchase, and if you're purchasing this hoping for jasmine or iris (my two loves), you'll be sorely disappointed. 4/10. Very soft on my skin.

It first strikes with musk, slight jasmines, & ylang. Then goes iris, musk and styrax, then goes soapy with slight sweet and i'm sure it's not figs. After awhile (10 minutes) it turns into a soapy slight sweet essence. I still can't define the osmanthus, amber, and woods. It's only jasmines (minimal), slight iris, styrax, musk, and more musk. Later a bit it turns into rubber.
