Pomelo Fizz

It's both fresh/zesty AND sweet - but you'll get more sweet from it than fresh. So if you hate sweet elements, don't get this. The opening has the most juicy, mouth-watering, tantalizing grapefruit and orange. As a citrus fragrance fan, I was immediately in love! But, of course, anyone who likes citrus frags knows the initial citrus blast never lasts long. After a few minutes, creaminess sets in and I got a creamsicle vibe...personally, I loved it! Longevity is not great but it smells great while it lasts....if you like the idea of a creamsicle perfume!

Smells like a refined version of the 2012 Dior Homme Sport. Really great juice.

I liked it. Below there are some contrasting reviews whether this is fresh/zesty or sweet and I think both are true, it opens quite fresh but shortly after (5-10) minutes for me this is a somewhat sweet musk-citrus with hints of tangerine and orange/blossom. Reminds me of Davidoff's now discontinued "Cool Water Deep". Can't say for sure as Deep has been long discontinued. It can be a nice summer selection, no reason to hate IMO.

It's quite pleasant fruity scent.

My mom and I ordered a sample and tried it together. For me, it smells like a red fruit or flower tea - I suppose that's the black currant - but it's dark, dry, and slightly potpourri-y. It definitely isn't a juicy citrus summer scent. The orange blossom is more implied, but it's overpowered by the dark, tart black currant. Mom says it's more like a jasmine tea to her (orange neroli and jasmine share a number of compounds so not too surprising, although I don't really get jasmine). Maybe we're both getting tea because it's dry and maybe a little bitter. It's not a bad smell, but it's neither vibrant nor sexy, so it's a pass for me.

This is very different than I expected! First, it skews much more masculine. The fresh spicy note overpowers almost everything else, though there's a little powder and a little citrus that dissipates within the first hour or so. It's definitely not bad, but I was looking forward to a light, fruity, feminine beach fragrance. This isn't really that. It's summery, but maybe more like something you wear to the office in the summer. Also, I can't shake the thought that this would be amazing on a handsome dude, but is kinda meh on me.

This one does something really weird on my skin which I'm not fond of. there's no cumin in here but my skin and my brain reacts as if there is? I don't get no flowers, no fruits except something kind of citrusy. I get something slightly green. I also get a salty / savory feel and mixed with that cumin impression, I'm over all not feeling this ont at all This may please citrus lovers more than me, tbh.

I expected some Pomelo and/or Fizz here, but smelled no citrus at all. It immediately turned into a spicy, slightly woody scent on me, way too masculine for my taste, then it lasted all day and I couldn't get rid of it. Maybe the bottle was bad?

Way too sweet. On me it smells like a cheap grapefruit/vanillic powdery candy. I made the mistake of spraying my sample liberally and now I'm fighting off a headache. :-/

This could have been nice if not for the extremely heavy handed dose of ambroxan which completely overwhelms everything else.

Sampling a splash vial. Citrus with an herbal-medicinal vibe, which I'm thinking might be the Davana. I'm not picking up the black currant or orange blossom, but myhrr is hanging out in the drydown and I like that addition. I'm having a hard time deciding if I like it, at times I think it smells synthetic and at other times I think it smells natural. A pass for now.

I agree with Jen D. It turned almost vanillic on my skin. There was little to no citrus after the first few minutes. I should point out that vanilla is one of my least favorite notes. I finally sprayed Arquiste L'Etrog heavily on top, since I wasn't anywhere that I could scrub Pomelo Fizz off.

Love this fragrance, but I love all of Comptoir Sud Pacifique's offerings. The pomelo is zesty and fizzy. It's an uplifting scent that is wonderful in the summer, but it is great all year round for a cheerful pick me up.

Am I the only one smelling a ton of ambraxen and a fleeting but of orange? Im not getting any sweet or floral or myrhh, at least not in thd forst hour. Am I crazy? Maybe I just don't know what I'm smelling.

On me it smells almost exactly like Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume, like ambroxan but with a hint of orange peel. That is it, just simple and fleeting. Longevity and projection are both low.

Opening is not pleasant, sharp and smell like paint. Later is quite nice, but weak and leans on masculine side. I associate this with young men, kind of student parfume 🫣
