Rhum & Tabac

This is a truly enjoyable tobacco scent. Forget that I am a woman -- I don't need vanilla in my perfumes. There is the inherent sweetness of rum and cinnamon to this scent however that makes this alluring. A twist of lime refreshes without taking you to the mojito bar. The woody patchouli and sweet, smooth, deep spices keep Tabac & Rhum lovely and warm. The quality isn't quite that of TF Tobacco Vanille, Vilhelm Oud Affair or Phaedon Tabac Rouge. This scent is just a scant quieter and is probably more versatile and wearable because of it. I do find that it has more tenacity than Frank No. 3. and find this sexier, sultrier. Rhum & Tabac is a wonderful, affordable quality tobacco entry from CSP. Edit: I guess I forgot to comment on the tobacco note (I'm probably a bit drunk on the rum, which by the way isn't too boozy). The tobacco is moist and warm with a slight bitter chocolate undertone in the drydown. Delicious while still remaining sophisticated.

FANTASTIC blind buy! Rum and damp tobacco with a hint of cinnamon (don't get the vanilla thing some here say - but I get coconut). After about 2-3 hours it seems to my liking like a bit of honey and amber present itself and after 6 hours or so more so the honey remains. Usually I find most CSP punch below its category i.e this EDP is more like and EDT etc, this is though is an above average scent - keeping it simple - its top shelf, I'm putting it next to my PDM Herod, Xerjoff Naxos, Chergui and Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac. Amazing value considering I find it far superior to Killian and others I have purchased for so much more. Hats off to CSP for a refreshing change!

Very sweet, vanillic, almost a sharp sweetness if that's something? Leather jacket, brown smokey eye, messy cola lips, fingers smelling like cigarettes with a spiced vanilla perfume and a cinnamon roll in one hand, a Rhum cocktail in the other. She wears a very shimmery gold eye shadow. The tobacco can be smelt faintly but not as you can imagine it. It just gives the perfume a fun rock sexy masculine vibe. Edit : on my boyfriend the tobacco gets deeper, richer and smoother and the fragrance smells exactly what I wanted it to smell like. I love this fragrance but it just smells better on him so I gave it to him haha

Perfect scent for a clean chic man. I loved this on the bottle and came back to smell it once again. I can see women wearing it too, but it is such a spicy, clean and slightly sweet scent for men. I do not get much of the tobacco, it smells like a less sweet baba au rhum. Trop bon !

The opening is to me pure tobacco. This is a less sweet alternative if you find TF Tobacco Vanille too heavy and prominent, and a more laidback version of Jazz Club. Perfect for both day and night, and it is not as offensive if you appreciate the potent tobacco note in this.

Softly spicy, warmly sweet, the first impression is cherry rum. The spice appears after a few hours, and at first it is a gourmand warm cherry. On a man this scent will be sexy. Not flashy and not intrusive. Perfectly balanced.

Very nice smell of rum and tobacco. Seems to go well with my skin chemistry. Performed pretty good, 12+ hours on my skin. Sprayed it in store on my arm, smelled it all day. Got back the other day to get a bottle.

Love at first sniff for me.Criminally underrated scent.

It's alright. It smells like the vanilla accord in Musc Ravageur without much else going on. The one thing keeping it from being flat in its simplicity is the tobacco note. The overall scent is too faint. It's like the perfume cloud that lingers after someone walks out of a room. It leaves you wanting more. That said, it's the best Sud Pacifique fragrance I've smelled so far. ------- You know what.. This has been the best tobacco scent I've tested so far. But I haven't tested more than 5. Make of that what you will. --- You know what.. I'd actually love this on a man. It has a very particular charm about it --- This smells like a hot sexy ass steamin' Maxwell Stanton with his Michael Phelps abs outta that wetsuit and he's screeching for a.... cold shower.

I like this fragrance but it's not for me.. The opening is my favorite part! It starts with rum, sweet, dark, the tobacco gives a smokey vibe to the fragrance and the cinammon blends beautifully. The only part that ruins it for me is this cotton candy vanilla sweetness that is very common in Comptoir sud Pacifique fragrances. I owned vanille cafee and smelled some of their creations, i really liked them but this overly sweet vanilla was everytime the issue. It's less pronounced here and i like it more but i am not seeing my self buying this. Performance is good, it's more like a date or night out scent and i find it totally unisex. Give this a try!

As its name suggests, Rhum & Tabac smells... of rum and tobacco. The cinnamon and the sweet aspect help to make it a warm and "comfortable" scent but at no point do we fall into too much sugar, everything is perfectly done. In my opinion, it leans more on the masculine side because the tobacco is here quite strong but I wouldn't mind wearing it. In short, a beautiful tobacco and rum scent at a very reasonable price.

I just put this on and I was really surprised when looked up the notes and didn't see vanilla or tonka . . . but it makes sense. Think of a spiced coconut rum (Tigerlillian is correct, not boozy) and rich and creamy pipe tobacco. That is this scent. It is luxurious and comfortable Lasted all day long.

This makes a lovely scent bubble a d projects quit a bot in the first 2-3h. My aunt bought it for herself. Up close I diden't like it that much, the tabacco is stronger then, but in the air its lovely and vanilic boozy. Unisex imo! My 70 year old auntie knows 😏

A great alternative to this, with way better performance, is Azzaro's Wanted by Night. They are very similar.

A light boozy scent that sits close to the skin and last all of two hours.

It's okay. It's very tobacco heavy for me and i also get a lot of patchouli. It's not rum forward and it doesn't really sit well on my skin because of that tobacco/patchouli combination. CSP is more known for its vanilla blends, and I'm not sure I like this one very much. I might have liked it more if I hadn't smelled dozens of other boozy scents with similar notes.

If the urine were sweet, it would have this smell. As soon as it is sprayed, it seems to be covered with pee. immediately afterwards the sweet notes of the tobacco are perceived and everything is mixed forming a senseless and to say the least annoying fragrance. It seems to enter a public toilet full of smokers. This is the idea that best describes this perfume (?).

Cinnamon flavor cognac, and sour tobacco. It's spicy tobacco, yet sweet and sour cognac blend. A huge doses of cinnamon, & cardamom blended quite big with lime to form spicy lime daiquiri cocktail then poured on tobacco ashes, and cognac plate that is made of dry patchouli!! It's very spicy sweet to be specific as allot is going on in here. I can't say it's playful or happy, yet naughty and bit devilish. It's quite new blend as i haven't sniffed something like it before. nice.

I would call this one 'Rhum & Spicy' not 'Rhum & Tabac'. In fact, Patchouli covers strongly tabac notes who give, at the end, a kind a spicy-sugar-liquor fragrance. Spicy here is not a pepper or chilli accord but more a bayrum with a touch of lime. An interesting way but overpowered. A real masculine fragrance 40 yo + Scent : 5.5/10 Projection : 8/10 Longevity : 8.5/10

It’s cool.. just not what I hoped for really. I was expecting more sweetness, more vanilla and more tobacco.. It smells like a bright spiced rum with a hint of chocolatey patchouli underneath it. Very boozy. Very limey. Not much projection at all but does linger on skin for a while. Don’t know if it’s a keeper for me yet, wasn’t blown away

The sexiest fragrance on a man. There's nothing I dislike about it. I would wear it myself, but leans a bit more masculine than any unisex scents. It's a sweet, boozy, naughty fragrance. Doesn't project too much, but it shouldn't, it would take the mystery away. Mouth watering.

That's actually smells like a mischievous younger brother of Tony Iommi MS by Xerjoff. Patchouli is the most noticeable note imo. That's both its pro and cons. Although this smell is really unique, because it has freshness through lime and cardamom.

I want this so badly. I don't care if it's "for men." There isn't anything in it a don't like ... well, I'm not crazy about patch. But I'm sure the other notes make up for it.

I'm a woman and I don't care if this is a masculine scent. There isn't one note I don't love. I want it and I want it NOW.

This scent is super masculine! Definitely not unisex in my opinion. Smells like a typical men's cologne.
