05. Dyed

Inked is a very interesting and unique scent. I have never smelled ink in a fragramce, but it is lifelike in this bottle. The mixture with the lime and charred wood is very creative. While summer might not be the best time to wear it, I am happy that I gor to experience it in the heat. 8.25

This perfume literally smells like some of the inks i use for my fountain pens. It's this very dry yet somehow powdery (someone else said dusty and i think that can also be used here) note that just elicits so much nostalgia for me after years of collecting. Starts out citrussy and ends up musky, but the ink scent remains throughout. Dries down to a skin scent after four or five hours but is eternal on my skin after that. $80 for 30ml is a little awkward but the discovery set is a good way to get to know the current offerings from concreted.

Smells so much like ink. The scent hits the back of your throat and the animalic musk is very cloying and forward. Starts really sharp and citrusy/eucalyptus-y but dries down to a woody animalic scent. Smells almost dusty on the dry down. Gets the tiniest bit sweet and floral once it finally dries down... almost leathery? Extremely interesting... I can't say I will buy a full bottle, but it's the most interesting scent I've tried from Concreted. It really transports you to a certain time and place through that ink note.

Note list seemed awesome but this was a HUGE disappointment. This is so intentionally synthetic and gross. Smells exactly like a dentist office. Inky, rubbery and astringent!

A leathery and masculine composition with deeply rich ink and bitter citrus. You get the idea of dry woodiness made up with a walnut note and and green notes that add a crisp and almost biting freshness here. This brand does fresh in such a sharp way, like cold ice tips on a pine tree, it’s cool and refreshing to see in a perfume composition/smell. Dry down is a bit more tame with dusty patchouli rounded up in earthiness and subtle cedar, remnants of the rich inky pen across its surface.
