Sevilla (Jean-Christophe Hérault)

This is one of the cleanest and most luxurious clean scents I have in my collection. The notes are very well balanced and smooth and creates this soft refreshing cloud of linen/floral/musky scent which is also slightly creamy. This perfume gives the vibes of a clean elegant girl in a white linen dress walking along the Andalusian coastline and her hair being blown by the wind with wafts of this clean, floral aroma around her. Furthermore, the bottle of this perfume is pure elegance and luxurious, reflecting the spirit of Sevilla itself, refined yet full of color and life. This is my first purchase from this perfume house (and a successful one) which intrigued me to explore further. The only downside of this perfume for me is the fact that the longevity and projection is mediocre and needs reapplication.

Beautiful floral fragrance , really really good spring scent

This was one of the samples I got with a purchase of a full bottle of a perfume, and I wanna give it a shout out cause I really don't get the negative reviews Never heard of the house or the line, so just looked at the notes - not something I would ever buy, white floral-dominated fragrance is normally not my thing and the reviews are not raving. First spray and I thought, oh this is very soapy but not in a bad way. The way a white floral soap bar would smell in my childhood, plus some sweet citrus. I caught myself thinking I didn't dislike it. In a few moments the blossoms came through and those are really true bright middle of July blossoming trees. Again not generally what I would select for myself but I can appreciate the quality. A screechy jasmine or neroli or orange blossom note can immediately give me a headache but these are well blended and not overpowering. The drydown is gorgeous - and admittedly right up my alley. It's musk with soft cashmere and the sweet cedarwood... can't stop smelling my wrist... Overall it is lovely and of course may not be your thing for a number of reasons but it's high quality and also I really get the association of Seville. Never heard of the house the concept of city perfume is interesting, the bottles look gorgeous, and perfumers are all quite renowned. Added a few more "cities" to my wishlist

The scent opens with a blast of bergamot and neroli; so intense and so clear that it declares “I’m clean” from the very start. Then comes a fully refined, zero-indolic, smooth jasmine, paired with a clean musk. There’s a note I can’t quite pin down here; a milky facet. I’m not sure if a “baby sheets” effect was intended, but it’s the only part that bothers me. I usually love milky nuances, yet this one isn’t comfy/cozy; it runs against the overall flow. Even so, it’s a pleasant perfume overall. The vibe: wind-dried laundry, baby sheets, clean sheets, coastal-grandma.

Aroma fresco y elegante que me recuerda a mi tierra. El frasco es una joya con la iconografía del puente de Triana, un lujo. El aroma fresco, resalta el azahar, recordando las calles de Sevilla en prinavera. Una joya para coleccionista.
