As a country boy living in the city, I love green scents and am always in the market for a good ivy scent in particular. This is the best scent I've smelt in--I don't know how long, and possibly the best green scent I've ever smelt. It's very well balanced and somehow not nearly as spikily nettle-green as I expected--it's at least as aromatic as it is green, I don't smell much moss, and so on--yet this is bracingly green. The cardamom, ivy and nettle aspects up top are the attention grabbers for me and they really are unusually impressive, if partly impressionistic--yet the whole experience is, yes, kind of dewily misty too. There is a kind of musky melon-like note or accord that I can't pin down but I wonder whether that's all down to the cardamom or whether there isn't, say, a green facet of magnolia playing some part in this. (I'm mostly just looking to make sense of all the greenness here.) I'm not sure I'd want to layer this, as for such a green fragrance, it's quite complicated, non-linear, and somehow ambient (strong and, in a green way, fresh, but not piercingly herbaceous) and I wonder whether layering wouldn't swamp its beauty. That's fine by me, as it's all I could want from a spring and probably autumn fragrance. There is even a kind of sexiness in there somewhere (maybe that melon-like musk thing again). The presentation is not perfectly executed but it is very attractive and anyway I don't much care. In the opening especially, there's something about this that makes me think of--Chanel? I can't even connect that with a particular Chanel fragrance. Allure Homme maybe? But that smells "brown" and this is green. I think it's partly that this is just that good. Edit: although this is not especially masculine, it vaguely reminds me of Lalique Equus and Quorum Silver, both for men. It doesn't quite smell like either--in particular, it's not as spiky as the Quorum--but I think its complicated, borderline-fruity, cardamom-green opening reminds me of both.

The scent is incredible to me. It is so balanced, and unlike any other green perfume I've had. Yes it smells "minty" but not like MINTY minty, the mint blends in with all the other elements, you are not smelling them separately but as a truly processed whole. I feel like the perfume respects my senses when I wear it. It is comforting. Also, I smell distinct aroma of CARDAMOM when I use this. I don't think it is intentional by the perfumer. It's not overwhelming, not even spicy, but a sweet suggestion like a whisper on the air. I really recommend this one! Seriously! Most people could like it!

Super green and herbaceous with a bit of minty notes. I can also feel some sweetness but it’s still very watery type of sweet note, so I presume they are fruits of citruses that give this juicy and sweet undertones. It actually smells a bit like nettle, can’t describe this scent, but nettle leaves has some specific scent (also similar to cactus)).
