I bought this because of the review below and I liked her perfume profile. I know I’m creeping! I’ve become slightly obsessed with tropical scents especially frangipani, plumeria and tiare. It all started months ago with the Chantecaille line particularly the vintage Fragipane. So I took a leap of faith and blind bought this. A blind buy that went terribly RIGHT for a change. This smells like a fizzy Vanilla Coke and cinnamon root beer. Unusual I know but I really love it. The dark juice in the bottle reminds me of the square bottle of Chantecaille Frangipane also. EDIT- I just bought a newer bottle direct from France and the juice is not as dark and it doesn’t have the potent sweetness like my older bottle. Maybe it gets better with age like me.

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this yet! The opening is an indolic white floral, almost lily like even though it isn't listed in the notes, among intense warmth. After 15-20 minutes or so, it dries down and the creamy natural green coconut comes out with a lot of the tropical white florals especially the frangipani. It is earthy and floral but nothing like the tropical drink cocktails of other solar floral perfumes. It reminds me of the Tipanie Tahitian Monoi Oil where there is Tiare, earthy green coconut and a lot of Frangipani. There is a slight 60's doll head element just like the Tipanie oil.

I’m wearing this rare beauty and it made me want to grow Plumeria where I live in central Florida. The Plumeria tree grows the frangipane scented flowers in tropical and subtropical climates. Perfumes are created from the exquisite flower scent. I now have three Plumeria in my garden. I bought a Singapore plumeria obtusa plant and will patiently await a flower and will only hope that it captures what I have in this perfume. I love the addition of coconut to this perfume. So light, like a coconut frosted cake. Heavenly.

True, smells exactly like monoi tiki oil but perfume. Has a slight tinge of funk exactly as the original monoi oil. Very potent and beautiful, evocative of French Polynesia

This smells very very very similar to Monoi Tiki Tahiti... the tiare scented one. It's nice!
