Lemons and sugar. That is the smell of Cookiecrunch. That lemon cleaner smell? Oh not at all! That, my friends, is the smell of limoncello, the beloved desert wine.You pull the cork, take a deep breath, and you cannot escape the zest and sweetness. Many times I have done this with my brothers' limoncello collection, and that olfactory prompt that reminds me of Cookiecrunch. This is a gourmand that introduces itself with a brightness: the initial throw is the zing of the freshest summer lemons, immediately followed by a delicate, creamy powdered sugar icing scent that settles comfortably on your skin. With this scent, you have the aura of sweetness and of light. Cookiecrunch is gorgeous, playfully mystical, and lively. It is the shy but effervescent whimsigoth sister of today's popular gourmands. If you want the sultry sweetness, perhaps go with the popular TikTok gourmands. To my estimation, Cookiecrunch could be Lignum Vitae's (Beaufort London) fraternal twin sister. They share the same DNA, but their personal expressions and projection are distinctively unique.

I wanted to buy my own birthday present and it had to be a quality niche gourmand. There were two options: either Kerosene's unknown pleasures or this Cookiecrunch from Coquillete, which is unknown to me as a brand. For Unknown Pleasures there are many reviews available. For Cookiecrunch there's only comparisons here with Unknown Pleasures and 1 review on YouTube. Since the Cookiecrunch was slightly less expensive I decided to go for this one. However I cannot compare to UP. OMG, what an amazing gourmand scent this is!! It starts off with a blast of citrus/lemon. The opening scared me a bit; I was afraid that this would be it. But no... after about 10-15 the sweet notes really come to life and I start experiencing a delicious cookie fragrances, reminding of a lemon icecream cone. I absolutely love it!! Very, very happy with my birthday present. Afterwards I went for a birthday icecream with my little one, for lunch!! Cheers!

First blast of sweet lemon meringue pie, photorealistic. It does open rather floor cleaner-y but it quickly dries to an intense bright sweet and tart lemon, followed by a more creamy musky vanilla. Time to eat my arm! Very energizing yet cozy, the lemon stays very bright through the dry down. Unisex and the citrus makes it great for hot weather days, yet gourmand and sweet enough for cold weather days as well. 6+ hours later: the lemon has faded and left behind a creamy sweet cookie scent, still going moderately strong, still edible.

The name is very misleading. If it's a cookie, the cookie is a tart lemon bar. But this actually reminds me a lot of Brazilian/Swiss lemonade (with lemons instead of limes). To make, you blend together a few lemons with the peel, strain the liquid out, add sugar, water, and sweetened condensed milk, and then serve over ice. It's delicious, and I like that you get to taste the potent tang of the oils in the lemon peel. This is the exact essence of that drink.

This is fantastically done. Smelling terrifyingly lemony in the bottle, on the skin it is a burst of perfect lemon, followed by delectable spicy vanilla. Sillage is not huge, but I can smell it wafting around me for hours so it is surely more than a skin scent. Expensive and absolutely worth every spray. I have Unknown Pleasures and while it is good I find this to be a clear winner.

Very first initial spray is a bit lemon cleaner, but almost immediately after words settles into a super yummy lemon shortbread cookie. I wish it lasted longer. The silage is good but it only lasts for an hour or so on me. Maybe I'm just becoming scent blind.

OBSESSED!!! This in my brain is the perfume version of those Girl Scout cookies Savannah smiles. It does open up as a sharp lemony scent but it dries down so amazing and I like the sharpness of the lemon in the beginning

The first hour or so smells just like girl scout lemonade cookies! Dry down is more vanilla with some light lemon.Yummy!

Perfect winter gourmand!! On me, it's straight up lemon and powdered sugar. Simple and mouthwatering.

Cookiecrunch is an incredibly sweet, warm, cozy scent that starts with a very lemony note that doesn't stick around long. Which is fine, in my opinion. It does just fine with all its sweet notes; I don't miss a splash of citrus later on in the composition, but that's personal preference. I did expect a projection/longevity beast at this price point, though, and that's sadly just not the case. In short, Cookiecrunch is a cuddly, out-of-the-ordinary gourmand that ought not to be this expensive for how fleeting and polite it is. The yellow variant of Lush's "Fun" smells similar to this, by the way. If you're considering getting a sample of Cookiecrunch, you might first give yellow Fun a sniff in a Lush store next time you find yourself there. Just to give you some idea of the scent.

Bought a sample of this, so the scent out of the bottle may be different. When first applied, I got a distinct lemon-y almost lemoncello scent out of the gate. Fortunately, this dried down into a very creamy, subtle lemon scent. It's smells like a sugared lemon on top of a cream topped cookie. As for perfomance, this lasted about 4-5 hours, then became more of a skin scent. Very nice, not sure I'd buy a full bottle though.

A light lemony meringue filling on a baked graham cookie base. Lemon is more sharp upon initial blast (almost cleaner-like) but later rounds out. A tiny bit of musk and lemon blossom floral that keeps it perfumey and wearable. The type of vanilla in this is similar to Chabaud Lait de Vanille. Same family as Unknown pleasures, but that one is more earl grey lemon square and unisex.

The opening of this is VERY strong lemon floor cleaner. The dry down is really nice and delicious (a super light and fluffy lemon biscuit) but I'm not sure yet if it's delicious enough to offset the opening to make it full-bottle worthy... will give it a few more chances and update my review!

The initial blast of plastic-y lemon smells like a Savannah Smile cookie cast in resin and forgotten about for 100 years, but the dry down is a perfectly pleasant shortbread cookie. I found it nice but not exactly my style, but my boyfriend loved it

This is a good scent if you really go for sweet and desserty. On me it stays very close to the skin. The lemon in this is nice. Not really a profile I want very often so I would not buy it but certainly nothing wrong with the blend.

Editing my comments from just below... continuing to sample and now -I really like it. Intense lemon bars for your skin. But as gourmand as it is, I don't feel it's weirdly desserty. Totally sexy in a non intimidating way.

This perfume smells exactly like freshly baked cookies! It's sweet and gourmand, but not overpowering. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. Love it!

This is not bad! It's a lemony cookie scent, except the lemon is a bit astringent and cleaning-product-y. I don't mind it and I'll finish my sample, but there are so many lemon scents on the market (Akro Bake, Devotion, BBW Iced Lemon Poundcake) that I prefer and that are more affordable, so I will just stick to those! Layering Iced Lemon Poundcake and Devotion is enough for me.
