Punk Motel

I have the 100 ml bottle of this perfume. It lasts around 8 hours. Medium high intensity at first, after one hour the intensity is medium soft. This perfume has an output of salty rose, it seems to come with an amber base, but in what way? When I read the notes, do I say where is the amber that I am feeling? I smell the note of amber so I start to study what the notes of the perfume are and it turns out that this perfume has natural ambret musk, which replaces the animal ambrette, and comes from three different seeds that knot gives the aroma of musk and a certain amber scent, so I understood that the musk and amber scent I could feel next to the rose came from there. It is a dark amber perfume or at least that's my olfactory sensation, what about this salty rose? this is not the typical elegant pretty white rose of a good girl, here the girl is a rebel, this girl's rose is a rebel, it is a rose completely broken with amber and with a few salty touches, a mineral salt that contrasts with the scent of rose. Actually the set of aromas is unexpected, extravagant and groundbreaking. It is not the rose scent you can expect and that is precisely where it has all its appeal, where it will draw the attention of our nose. Is everyone going to like it? I'm sure not, but is that bad? I think not, more different perfumes are needed, more scents that are not the same and honestly ... it would have been a boring scent of being a more pretty rose scent. Unisex? totally, it is not a delicate floral aroma, nor too sweet to be only feminine, and it is not a perfume of hard, woody aromas or such ... to be only masculine. In the case of this perfume they are scents with a lot of personality that will make each person depend on how to hook their perfume. Honestly, I only recommend it to anyone looking for different scents, scents that do not leave you indifferent but completely different from what you find in perfume shops. Different and with personality.

There’s no projection monster here, no sillage trail to stop people in their tracks. Its power is in its subtlety. It doesn’t perform; it haunts. If you’re looking for something different, something that doesn’t smell like perfume in the traditional sense but rather like atmosphere—dust, age, and echoes—Punk Motel delivers a beautifully strange, musky séance of a scent.

Punk Motel is a clean, personal scent, done a little bit differently. The initial blast has a hint of sweetness, it’s bright, but at the same time musky. I absolutely adore the first 10 minutes of this fragrance. As it wears, it sits closer and closer to the skin. It becomes less sweet, and cleaner. It’s gorgeous. The problem is I get 1 hour max where I can decently smell this on myself. That’s a pity because I would have already purchased a full bottle of this, if the longevity was better. I’m glad I sampled this as it definitely fits into the your skin but better style of fragrance, but it’s different enough, and smells really nice.

Instantly obsessed with this. There's something uncanny about it. I think I know what I'm in for (a softly vanillic, rosy-musky-ambrette cloud) but then something strange shows itself then hides away again, a sort of salinity that's not quite clean and not quite dirty, something familiar that I can't put my finger on, what does it remind me of? I don't know, it's a memory I can't remember. It captures an emotion felt so long ago it's no longer painful. Nostalgia, heartache, innocence lost? Whataever it is, I love it. Wearable weird girl that whispers but doesn't shout.

My daily scent. I don't have to think too much if it fits my outfit or my mood, it's just, well... a basic me, opening the door to you and inviting you over for a cup of tea at my place. Definitely a good choice for daytime. Work, school, library, shopping, casual meetings, spontaneous drinks after work — it's a safe scent. Delicate, staying in the background yet not invisible, a little powdery. Rose is not dominating anyhow, so if you're not a big fan of a strong rosy rose, you can still give it a try.

Absolutely beautiful lightly musky skin scent. It has a slight freshness and also a slight vanilla. I’m not quite sure what purpose the salicylic acid serves but I love the whole composition nonetheless. Perhaps a slight saltiness? This would have been absolute perfection had it lasted a little longer on my skin, lasts well on clothes though. I would still absolutely buy it in a heartbeat if I can find it at a more reasonable price.

This is a soft musky bed sprinkled with fresh dewy rose petals They are beautifully woven together with subtle vanilla threads along with some slightly acidic notes that reminds me of clean skin Absolutely love this however, i wish the longevity was better

I like it, but on me it last 1hour/1hour and half without projection, it's a skin scent. I don't like rose, normally, but white rose is a totaly diffrent floreal scent, more similar to white flowers.

Punk motel has a very good smell but a too soft sillage for me. The scent is very creamy. It is a soft floral with some creamy Green vibe and a very soft vanilla un the back. It is very weareable and versatile but nothing soecially original, something that i really expected attending to the bottle and the name. The dry down is sweeter, bit similar to absolute aphrodisiac by initio but much softer. The longevity is average, about 6 hours on skin, but the sillage and the intensity are very soft. The first time i tried It i sprayed also other three fragances (chameleon by zoologist, nejma 7 and iri_del by nomenclatura) because all CAME together un a sample set that i recived from a niche online shop. The question is that i sprayed two fragances on each hand and the other two un the inside side of each elbow. In this moment i couldnt get any smell from punk motel! I could get oerfectly the other three fragances but nothing with punk motel. So i sprayed the foie fragances on paper, went to the shower and decided to wear today punk motel to look if wearing It Aline i could get some better the fragance. And yes, when It is the only smell It is noticeable but still too soft, more like a body cream than a proper perfume. And now i hace just arrived home since i have gone OIT a bit to enjoy a bit the recently opening of the covid lockdown, and although i cant get anymore the scent on my skin (about 8 hours after having sprayed It) on the paper It is still noticeable, but also soft. So... The scent is very pleasant but i dont know if It really worths to buy It... Anymay as It is soft is very versatile (probably not for very cold weather and a bit unnoticeable for night out), unisex and for dayly use. First impression was initially a let down coming from my lack of interest in white flowery scents however it does accomplish what it sets out to do. Second attempt wearing it allowed me to appreciate it a little bit more for its uniqueness. Its not a typical male fragrance hence the unisex label however does lean to the more feminine side. I was very surprised with how long this lasted on my skin, easy 8 hours and probably longer if i didn't shower. The name and bottle peaked my interest to order a sample, yet to decide if its something ill buy if it grows on me however it seems like a nice Spring fragrance as it literally smells like walking into a vibrant garden with a a heavy scent of flowers being carried through a light breeze. Upon first hit, it smelt like a sister scent to Green Irish Tweed by Creed. Overall a very bold/sharp floral that drys into a dirty musk. Would be 6.5 if it had better projection but overall comes down to a 5/10

smells like stumbling upon an abandoned house in some field during an afternoon in the spring, like some sequel twist rendition of texas chainsaw massacre if it occurred in april or may. it’s somewhat cold in a still, chilling, stale sense and makes it kinda creepy.... reminds me of my acne face wash bc that SA is present. pleasant, clean, and intimate- though not a favorite, it is definitely interesting. personally i think there’s a sort of wildflower/grassiness to it that makes it rugged enough for a man.

Clean and with a little vintage vibe, not punk at all for me - but quite wearable nonetheless.

My associations when smelling Punk Motel are solar notes and hard candy on a bed of musk. This is a linear fragrance to my nose. I can smell traces of rose in the background, but the salicylates and musk dominate this olfactory experience. I usually enjoy the impression that salicylates create in a fragrance, but here they are just overpowering. Unfortunately, their strength combined with the linear development make me get bored of this scent quite quickly.

I tried it in early spring time. The scent is pleasant. It's frensh in the headnote but quickly turns to ambrette. I find more néroli than rose in it. The sillage is too weak that it almost only smells on the skin though it does last a couple of hours. On the story telling side, I was expecting the sensation of rebellion, dignity, vagabond. But it turns to me too tender to support the portrait. I think it's more indie than punk.

Very soapy musk. To me it smells like a bar of vintage soap.

First whiff is very medicinal, smells just like an old pharmacy. It quickly settles into a delicate, floral note - I personally don't smell the roses anywhere. The salicylates in the heart give it a unique quality, very hard to describe...maybe a little salty-sour? I agree with the description, this isn't a salty breeze / marine note, but something very different. It keeps very close to the skin, so I really had to put my nose in my wrist to detect the changing smells. Base is musky, I don't get the vanilla sweetness at all. Top notes: white rose, bergamot Heart: salicylates Base: ambrette, musk, vanilla EDIT: the drydown is extremely musky, beware.

This scent is perfection. It’s simple and yet I haven’t found anything yet that smells similar. I agree with the other reviewer that said it fits into the “your skin but better” category. If I could smell like this at baseline all the time I would. It sits very close to the skin, a very intimate fragrance. It’s a little sweet, a little floral, clean but still creamy, and the salt makes it smell more like your skin. Like you got a little hot and your skin warmed up your scent. I can’t explain it any better but I love the scent, love the name and love the packaging.

One to wear with ratty Converse All Stars, sucking down an Orange Julius–while you’re shopping at Tiffany’s. Like there’s a comfortable I-don’t-give-two-shits vibe, but it’s really high end. Marshmallow citrus at the start, a bit of rose meringue in the middle, creamy vanilla and salty musk at the base. Rather than being sticky, the sugar is airy and light, yet also very rich. Stays inside the clothes for half the day, and leaves a faint sweet funk on the cuffs ’til evening. If I could actually afford to shop at Tiffany’s, I’d bathe in the stuff.

i was super disappointed in this one...i was wanting silky musky bed of roses (something similar to like guerlain musc outreblanc without vanilla) and it smells more stale to me. this reminds me of the white musk in lake and skye 11:11 and i’m not into that style, its very molecular / stale / borderline musty to me. not a fan :/
