Nuit d’Orient

Love love it😊. This is a sweet, warm, oriental vanilla based perfume in the line of casmir Chopard. The casmir is more spicy and harsh. This one is soft vanilla with a hint of lemon freshness. The projection and longtivity is moderate intimite. Definitely a successful blind buy for me. Relieved after several bad blind buys which i throw all in the bin. I promised myself not to buy anymore perfumes produced in the last 20 year or so. Waste of money because there are mostly 98% water and alcohol and 2% scent. Disappearing almost immediately after spraying. You spray and poef gone. 😖

Absolutely glorious. Its so heavy and warm that it's almost suffocating, but not overly sweet. Reminds me strongly of one of my favorite teas, a rooibos with citrus and vanilla. If you, like me, were a bbw sensual amber girlie in high school or college, you can't go wrong with this one! This is sensual amber's more refined, more subtle yet much more assertive older sister

To me Nuit D'Orient is a gorgeous mildly sweet sandalwood with a touch of incense resins similar to Alkemia's Arabesque. I get incredible longevity and roughly arms length projection off of two sprays. This style of fragrance works absolute magic with my chemistry and it was love at first wear. Definitely genderless and can be worn by anyone.

Just received and tried Nuit d'Orient edt and really like it. Vibes of Obsession, Tabu, Ciara, Bijan et al with a dash of chocolate and a hint of Nag Champa incense. Like the previous reviewer I'm curious what the parfum smells like! It won't come on super strong unless you're trigger happy. Great deal for $20 US for sure.

If you love amber scents i think you will like this. Longevity is very good but projection is close. To me it smelled like an amber concoction. Not amazing but great for the price you can get it. Because its not very heavy or spicy it can be used all year round.

Nuit D'Orient... how strange you are. Powdery woods and sweetness. It smells just like when you walk into a new age store and go smell the incense sticks from the boxes. Florals are backstage. I have the newer 100ml bottle. It would be nice to compare it to the parfum version that's available. Interesting and OK for the price.

I have the parfum. There’s a powdery blast in the beginning (think white diamonds and rubies or obsession) then it gives away to some floral smoky amber which lasts forever. It’s in the same vein as casmir. Not a casmir dupe but a sister fragrance for sure.

I can’t believe Smokey isn’t listed as voted notes. As soon as it’s sprayed i get a tobacco like smokeyness then within seconds the ambery vanilla comes in and it’s beautiful. Really warm and smells like a sweet vanilla incense.

Perhaps 25% vintage Obsession for Women, 50% Ambre Sultan, and then add vanilla. I just did a dab sampling so I'll have to report back after a typical wearing, but it does seem to have good to very good strength.

A sweet and sultry warm benzoin, vanilla and sandalwood perfume. The florals and citrus add very little to the fragrance. It's composition is classically French. First created in 1924. I really like it. ✨

Amber-vanilla-musky. This is actually quite nice for such a low cost fragrance. It appeals to me and I use it to scent up a room. ✨
