Chanson D'eau Mar Azul

I love how the soft apricot note sings in this, with the added interest of salt water and sun. Wonderfully comforting at all seasons and weathers, sprayed on pyjamas or a crisp cotton shirt. It's zen, calming and smooth. I got a huge 200ml bottle for 3 pounds, no complaints. It has eau de cologne/body spray performance, but at that price, pop some in a plastic spray bottle and take it with you. The frosted glass bottle is lovely.

This is lovely sweet apricot freshie! I actually sold my Justin Bieber Collectors Edition because it smelt so similar to Mar Azul, and it wasn’t as nice due to the synthetic smelling wood in the base (the same for guess girl summer!) This perfume doesn’t have that so it’s all the yummy fruity floral sweetness of collectors edition without the bitter wood. Brilliant for summer. The orange bottle from this range (Amancier) smells very similar but has the bitter woods in the base!

Very light and subtle - you’d have to douse yourself from the open bottle to get anything stronger, but very nice. On me it’s citrus/fruity, a delightful spring/summer scent and probably very nice to carry around in your gym bag for a post workout freshen up. I also think this would be lovely to splash on after a bath as a perk me up.

This is your classic 2000s tangy fruity, citrusy aquatic scent . It reminds me a lot of Ralph by Ralph Lauren by Apricot replaces the apple as the main note. Both have a spot in my collection. It's very weak, but at £2.99 and fraiche concentration for £2.99 you can't really complain.

I managed to get a 100ml bottle for £2.99 at a fragrance outlet. I blind bought it. I'm happy to have it. It's a super safe blind buy as it's very light and watery. It's so light and watery that it comes in a splash bottle. As you have to splash this stuff on to oblivion rather than just spray it. So now that you have splashed it all over your body, how does it actually smell like: Aquatic and slightly fruity. Like you took a light fruity perfume and diluted heavily. This may sound awful, but I actually love it for that. It's so safe. You can splash it on, freshen up your clothes without ever worrying if it might be too much for others. It's incredibly light. You can definitely smell it, but it's more as if you use very good laundry detergent. I don't think that this is a bad thing as I find light fragrances like this amazing for refreshing. With strong perfumes you would have to wait for an hour before you could leave the house ...otherwise you stink people into knockouts...but with Chanson D'eau Mar Azul you can splash it on and off you go. No worries here. And you can do so again and again. I think therefor it's great for spring and hot summer days.
