Chanson d'Eau Rose

There is no flower as difficult to catch as a fresh rose is. I mean as a single note. One moment you want to smell it but you just don't and the next moment it hits you. I am on holiday at the moment and I bought this one just bevore I left to go to Austria and Italy. I'm very pleased with my purchase, great quality and value for money. The same for the lemon and jasmine. I didn't bring them with me (big bottles). It is however not a single note rose, but nonetheless a very pleasant scent. All three are! Not headache-inducing. I'm looking for the best single note rose scent. I'm thinking of blind buying Rose Absolue by Annick Goutal for rose and nothing but rose, but it's pricy...has anyone any other suggestion?

a fresh and elegant scent, suitable for daily wear, especially in warmer seasons but a little bit mossy for me it ruined it

I had no clue what I was going to smell when I received this Rose by Coty. There are so many interpretations of rose perfumes and some don't smell like rose at all. I was interested to read that it's a dupe of Chloé L'Eau Eau de Toilette. Honestly I'd never would've thought it. I had a lovely set of Chloe minis but had a love/hate relationship with them. Something about them being too soapy. I rarely used it. I don't know if I ever smelt the discontinued Chloé L'Eau Eau de Toilette (the review by locg was spot on). However I'm enjoying this fragrance so far. It's not soapy like my Chloé minis. I like the uplifting citrus notes and the moss. It's definitely not a "true rose" fragrance like I was expecting, but now and again I get wifts of the rose note mixed with the other notes. A bright, citrus, clean rose. Pretty, fresh and youthful especially during spring/summer 🌹 Update: it started giving me too much of Chloé vibes so I gave it to my younger sister. I'm still after a more green and dewy rose for summer. I've been wearing the Jasmine one a lot and it's much more to my preference.

Great value for its price. Lovely scent unfortunately on my skin it smelt a bit spicy due to the moss possibly but on my sister it smelt heavenly and lovely with the rose and litchi nice and sweet. Definitely depends on skin chemistry but overall nice potential fragrance
