Ex'cla-ma'tion Wild Musk

This is a bit brighter and more fruity than the original (beloved!) Coty Wild Musk, but nowadays it's the closet you can get to the true Wild Musk Profile. Its got the same sexy, smooth and comforting musk and is stronger than the current (disgraceful!) Watery formulation of Wild Musk! I'd definitely recommend Ex'cla-ma'tion Wild Musk over regular Wild Musk, unless you can get your hands on a vintage bottle of Wild Musk!

I recently tried this perfume and I am absolutely in love! This scent is a beautiful blend of warmth and freshness that makes me feel confident and uplifted. Its perfect for everyday wear or a night out. Definitely a go to in my fragrance collection.

As a sandalwood& musk are one of the favorite smells(even the wide range of fum tastes..), I was very impressed of the sandal+musk. I really think that I should let this maserate in a while, cause accidently this may Sting ur nose, like some chemical stuff coming from some "motor" ect. This is quite New now, so I dont hesitate - I do have lighter and brighter perfumes, which I can use till this has done few weeks/ months. Yet not detect smoothness, but Ill believe, it will become.

I was curious so I purchased it when the opportunity presented itself. If I did not have a supply of vintage Wild Musk, I would be ecstatic with this one. The opening is fruity from the citrus but it then dries down a really nice synthetic cedary sandalwood-y musk, which was the last formulation of the Concentrated Cologne that was available in the 2010s. A little barnyard-y. Good sillage and longevity. If you love CWM and cannot get your hands on vintage, this CWM is definitely better than the dreadfully anemic cologne still in limited circulation.

Look at this strange hybrid perfume I just found in the unexplored hinterlands of Coty. Despite the name and bottle, this scent has nothing to do with Grosjman's delightful Exclamation. That's fine, I knew that going in, ...thanks to Fragrantica's note pyramid. Yet, supposedly, this fragrance does have some similarity to Coty's Wild Musk. I'll have to take other reviewers' words for this as I'm unfamiliar with that scent. Overall, the note pyramid shown here does seem accurate. Exclamation Wild Musk opens with light, sweetly airy notes of orange, bergamot and perhaps some other dainty florals. None of this feels particularly realistic or substantial, ...but it does make for a pleasant introduction. However the drydown is a fine blend of spicy sandalwood with some musk. The intensity of this fragrance may be less than ideal, ...but while it lasts, the tang of the sandalwood is really quite enjoyable.
