Stetson All American

When I bought this cologne online it was a blind buy and didnt see all the negetive feedback on this. After receiving it today i was afraid that it was a waste of my $10 for a 1oz bottle. Once i Received it I sprayed it right away. It is really harsh on impact then after 10 seconds the real fragrance appears. I dont get the Guava scent but man was I surprised, this is a great fragrance. The only thing i regret is not getting the bigger bottle. I give it a 8 out of 10. This reminds me of a mixure of Cool Water meets Polo Sport. The dry down is where the heart of the fragrance is. I will be trying it out this weekend, i will try to update this post with feedbacks and complements. I would recomend this to anyone. Great for a day to go shopping or just relaxing with some friends. i will try it at night to see how the summer night reflect on my skin. Great pick up. A+++ for its age... Great job Stetson..

I miss this so much! I got this months after it's release in Target I believe and I fell in love with it. Unfortunately it was quite a small bottle and used it up very fast when I got back into my fragrance obsession (no pun intended). It had a very dreamy effect on me. Partly because it reminds me of this aroma therapy spray that my mom would spray my pillows and bedsheets with when I was about 4 when I couldn't sleep. Not only do I like the cobalt blue bottle, but I love cobalt blue and think it matches the scent perfectly. I want to get some of this again.

Really like this 80s-90s vibe, and good longevity. Masculine and not loud. I would say there are dominant Suede and Sage. It is very good quality for that price ($20), a hidden gem!

My husband wears this cologne and I love it on him. It smells awesome and really drives me crazy when he wears it.

Harry Fremont is a genius at finding ways to be innovative on a tight budget, Stetson All American is yet another showcase of his exceptional skill and ability to find balance from very divergent notes that under the wrong guidance could easily have gone astray. Instead we have one of the best budget drugstore releases of the last twenty years and though largely overlooked by a somewhat misguided marketing campaign and short sighted decision to call this All American instead of going more global and targeting markets like Brazil, Colombia and El Salvador where the guava, musk and spice would have been very welcomed by the masses, instead the fragrance was seen being dumped at discounters across the United States within a year of release. Sometimes the advertising department blowhards can truly fall face first in the mud, this is one of those cases. Getting Tom Brady to be the face and then going after middle America's football watching weekenders men who generally still wear Cool Water, Acqua Di Gio and anything with the Polo logo on it just didn't strike a chord with that limited audience and killed any hope of Stetson going forward with the ambitious concept of reinventing themselves as relevant to anyone born after the 1980s. The juice here is nice, very well blended, very soft yet present. It smells nothing like its low MSRP, there is a refined class and charm to this you just don't come across that often for a budget line release. The guava and ginger is vibrant, fresh, uplifting and organic. The suede is there from the onset but doesn't dominate or puncture the sinuses, there's a subtleness to it that goes nicely with the nutmeg and fern while allowing the guava and musk to stretch out. Composition is finely done here, this is subtle to the wearer yet projects rather well with only a couple of sprays. It has aquatic elements here but it's mostly musky spicy aromatics with a touch of tropical Caribbean. By leaps and bounds Stetson's finest release, though Stetson Black also is impressive if used in moderation. The wear is rather linear after the ginger flickers to the background and the suede and musk take over with the spices and guava but despite that it's a nice and attractive enough scent to pull out in the spring and on summer evenings. Will get you compliments if you need those sort of things, but more importantly it adds a nice touch of variety to your wardrobe at bargain basement prices. If you like musk and tropical accords, this one is for you.
