Back of the box reads: ''Escape from the everyday with the cool, adventurous scent of the great outdoors. Stetson Country. An invigorating blend of crisp mountain air and fresh forest woods. Wear it and you're there.'' Stetson Country by Stetson is perhaps a very simple yet, somewhat interesting fragrance to my nose. The description as the back of the box reads is pretty accurate. This is a ''fresh'' but cool woodsy and slightly spicy scent with a rain accord to captivate the wearers interest. Stetson Country possesses notes such as Bergamot, Cedar, Amalfi Lemon, Cassis, Mahogany and possibly some Suede a long with a Rain Accord. It is both fresh and clean but still hints a bit of dirtiness as it is both masculine and classic on it's own. This is indeed for the adventurous soul. I've also noticed that this fragrance is being compared to Gucci Nobile which is also a classic and a favorite. I used to own it a few years back. I can see as to how and why the comparison is there. They both share similar notes but still stand their own ground as both fragrances are different and unique in their own special way. Stetson Country's silage is moderate and longevity can range up to 4-6 hours. 2 Sprays on each pulse point and you're set. That should last you 7 hours the most. It's an everyday scent but I admire it more during colder months. However, It is also perfect to wear during the Spring when it's a bit breezy and good for a jean jacket.

Its been at least 20 years, probably more since I had this one. Wow, such quality at such a cheap price. This was in the days when you could go to Walmart and on the shelves would be about 50 different fragrances, all with corresponding aftershaves. How much fun I would have picking these out. Stetson Country is a fruity fresh vibe that men women and children of all ages and walks of life will find quite agreeable. Its sunshine, I tell you.

Good scents do not have to be expensive. The Potency of this gem will surprise many, I bought it blind together with the after shave and i did not regret it. I would recommend it for both newbies and veterans alike
