Eau de Courreges

A sweet lemon-citrus top, with lots of mint underneath. It's not that this isn't a pretty fragrance, but it's so delicate as to be almost wimpy. I sampled the original formulation, so it may be the newer version of this is beefier: I certainly think Guerlain Acqua Allegorica Herba Fresca (which this much reminded me of) is, and I think that's by far the better and more complex fragrance. I can imagine this would be quit cooling in hot weather, but it's just too dainty for me.

I am a newbie to reviews - but have read everyone else's for years and benefitted enormously so will have a go. I adored Empriente and wore it in early 80's. Since fragrances have changed so much since then I have not revisited the updated version. But when I was in T K Maxx today (T J Maxx in USA) I scored a bottle of this for £14 GBP. That is very cheap indeed and right price for an experiment. I first sprayed it into the room. It was gorgeous and very like a spritz of Aqua di Parma. Very cirtus, sparkly and fresh. But when i sprayed just a tiny bit on my wrist it changed utterly. I am so disappointed. As an 80's Chypre girl I had high hopes, and knew this would be a complex fragrance. Within 30 minutes I lost the bright scent and it was replaced with what i can only call 'headachey'. Is that 'a thing'? that's the only way i can explain it. there's a heady stifling scent. Nearly three hours later the 'headachey' part is gone leaving only a bland soapy smell. I can see members have dozens of fragrances in their collections - so if I am to educate myself taking a chance is the way to go!

Smells strong in the bottle but once it hits your skin, it disappears almost instantly. The smells reminds me of the candy called Lemon Head, or maybe a little fruit loop with a dash of green. Glad I got the chance to try a mini size. But also so glad I did not purchase the bit bottle. On a positive note, if you spray it on clothing it does last a lot longer if you like the scent.

it's an energetic citrus perfume with bold green notes which reminds me taking a walk between grasses in summer.I don't think it's floral aquatic at all!may be citrus or citrus aromatic.good choice if you're into lime notes and you're -25 years old and full of energy,just wondering what perfume to buy in the college summer vacations.

I like the green freshness of this fragrance. I think that it would be a very good choice on a summer day, if you don ́t know what to wear. I get a kind of ginger vibe from this all along the other green notes, I like that.
