Hyperbole

I sampled this and bought a 50ml bottle straight after. It reminds me of the sweet almost tobacco note in Givenchy Hot Couture EDT. I struggle to get hold of that now and this is my new fragrance along those lines. The tonka and vanilla sweeten the tobacco, there's a note that sharpens it all so it's not cloying, it is borderline masculine but in a beautiful 'I'm a strong woman wearing a fragrance that might just be for men' kind of way. It's pink pepper in Hot Couture whereas the spice here is white pepper. It smells so beautiful, I can't explain how much I fell for this perfume on first spray! It is indeed fresh but seductive and heavy all at once. I would imagine people will stop you and ask what you're wearing if you have this on. It's a perfect perfume for the colder months, but I think if you wear it in a warmer climate it will be just as beautiful.

This perfume could be unisex, but I think that women and non- binary individuals would rock it more. This is one of my absolute favorite perfumes, and of you can find a bottle, it is reasonably priced. The tobacco is very prominent in this when you first spritz with the tonka bean supporting the smoke and giving it some depth. As you wear it, the white pepper begins to pop out and the vanilla shows itself, and isn’t super sweet, owing to the tobacco. It’s the kind of vanilla that I actually want to smell like. There is a hint of patchouli throughout, but it’s not overwhelming. If you like spicy scents like I do, this one is a must try. It’s lovely and would be best worn in autumn, and is, in fact, my go to during these months. When I spritz it on my clothes, it lasts for days. The bonus of wearing this perfume is that you won’t smell like anyone else.

Hyperbole is a rather straightforward vanilla-tobacco scent, very warm and sweet as a whole. But if you pay attention there is a sharper, greener side to it that I find is most noticeable closer to the skin and in hot weather. This perfume is more "traditionally" suited to colder months but if you are not afraid of something a bit heavy I think it is good for spring too !

This fragrance is an Air France exclusive release for October 2016. I was able to sample it thanks to the courteous flight attendant who then tracked down two bottles for me. This scent is all about pipe tobacco- it opens a little sharp and tannic, like unheated tobacco. Quickly it becomes sweet and camphorus, like the hot red tobacco. The drydown is languid and sweet and brings to mind trails of smoke. The effect is fairly straightforward, without a lot of complicated structure or development. Hyperbole is a lovely and natural choice for an autumn fragrance, for either gender. Very enjoyable and comforting to wear.

Really nice bang for your buck fragrance and hidden gem. This smells similar to Tobacco Vanille from Tom Ford. Opens up floral and fruity but dries down to a nice Tobacco Vanille scent with a spicy/powdery backbone, it is more wearable than the Tom Ford in my opinion. I would say this is unisex for sure even tough the perfume is listed as women. Worth trying for the price.

A very nice warm fragrance with the note of vanilla & tobacco. So sexy, perfect for fall and winter (too bold for summer). 100% unisex, good value. 8/10

Wow.. the top notes smell very similar to Guerlain’s Spiritueuse Double Vanille but then dries down to a dominant Tonka bean, tobacco and patchouli vibe- giving it a slightly green and medicinal flavour. Definitely could be mistaken as a niche winter fragrance.. and worn by a 30+gentlemen sitting by a fire in a log cabin, at country club (or ski resort), & sipping an expensive cognac, in between packing his pipe with rum tobacco. Unisex veering on more masculine oriental.. It’s very nice

Hyperbole is one of those fragrances that is criminally overlooked. I don't know why. Is it the lack of advertising? Limited distribution? Courreges not an "It" brand? Whatever the reason, people are missing out. Warm and spicy, but quiet, it is a fluffy blanket and cup of coco type of scent. Unisex and safe for office wear, and best in cooler temperatures. It reminds me of Herod by Parfums de Marly, but not as tobacco heavy. Prices are still good, that is, if you can find a bottle.

Now that i see it in the sucgestions it really reminds me of lancome's now or never which i also loved. Spot on you guys! Sweet, comfortable, playfully inspired -and somehow sturdy...

Received a sample with My Little Box, the smell is divine. Fresh and heavy at the same time. Love it!

This scent remind me a hospital. Is that simillar to a ntiseptic solution' smell?

Truly unisex. Rather like this one. It's a true oriental.
