La Fille de L'Air (2021)

This is beautiful!!! For me, this was instant love! Absolutely gorgeous perfume! 10/10! It immediately transported me to the idyllic summer days when it is so warm outside in the mornings and the sunrays are bright and caressing. Truly an idyllic summer morning scent... it reminds me of white crispy sheets hanging to dry in the sunshine. Or those summer days when you wear a freshly pressed white shirt... Neroli here is so beautiful, a bit zesty but perfectly incarnates white color. This scent awakens in me some nostalgic memories I just can not grasp, but there is this reminiscent feeling of good and calm days when everything was so carefree. The white floral notes here are just perfect, loud but also just in the right place. The scent does not have overly feminine vibe or sweetness - it's perfectly modern, and unisex I would say. To me this is amazing! Beautiful summer scent.

I really love La Fille de L'Air! I was looking for something similar but softer than Diptyque's Eau des Sens and it's perfect to me. Super clean with a bright neroli opening, but it has a delicate musky dry down than leans more feminine. Wears beautifully in the heat which is when I prefer to wear it alone, but during Spring and Autumn I absolutely love pairing this with Kilian Love Don't Be Shy. It's such an amazing combination when I want to amp up the orange notes in LDBS! Lasts around 4-5 hours before I like to reapply. To me, it's a perfect skin scent. I'm very prone to headaches and this doesn't trigger them at all. Price is ok - definitely worth it if you can find it at a discount.

Instantly transported me to a California waterpark in the summer time, applying creamy white sunscreen around my already-sopping suit while I watch the water and the cream swirl into one on the hot concrete. Thick, spreadable neroli. Adorable.

Honestly got this because I like the design of this line’s bottles and this sounded like the safest blind buy. It has a classic perfume smell to it, in the realm of powdery and soapy but it doesn’t come across as outdated. I’m happy to have it as an easy throw on when I want something inoffensive. It’s mainly soap to me, a little bergamot in the top but that goes pretty quickly. For full price and anything bigger than the 30ml I wouldn’t say is worth it, the most unique thing is the neoprene which I think is where the chlorinated pool vibe comes from but I have to picture a pool to smell it. Just a safe powder/soap perfume, not screechy like soapy scents can be.

Gosh, this is CLEAN! Like most perfumes from this new line, it's slightly vintage - in a positive way. A lot of flowers in the beginning, which soon make room for a bright, clean scent. It reminds me of flowery fragrances from the 80s revisited than Neroli Portofino or similar. The final skin scent is pampering musky and powdery. If you decide to try it, please let it grow on your skin: it might not be the most complex creation you've ever tried, but still can surprise you. Very durable on clothes and paper, not so much on my skin. A safe office fragrance for airy spring days.

This is my first time trying anything from Courrèges and I found the scent easy to wear, evoking fresh and clean feelings. I seldom wear scents with orange blossom because that note bothers my husband 99% of the time, but he liked this one. More than anything, it makes me curious to try the original La Fille de L'Air. Lasty, I love the bottle and pink matte color.

Very soapy and comforting. The neroli gives it a lovely elegance that feels classic rather than trendy. It evokes that kind of 'high-end tissue paper' smell and reminds me of attending formal family events as a child.

This one is interesting and I cant tell if it would be wearable for me....it is very nostalgic, reminds me of the fresh water lake we went to when I was young; sunscreen and lake moss.

Neroli done in a mild, creamy way. Soapy/ sunscreen but still light and breezy, like your hands after washing with a perfumed soap. I’m a fan!

La Fille de L'Air is a very musky neroli, more neroli than orange blossom. It's too soapy/astringent smelling for me to enjoy it much, but it's fine. Most prominent notes for me are neroli, bergamot, and musk.

Some of my permanent marker pens smell a bit like this. Delicate chemical sharpness.

i wanted to like this so much. i tested it on a strip first and it reminded me of a crisp breeze from my childhood, and somehow it transformed into another memory from my teenage years. i was so obsessed, then i tried it on my skin. i have no clue why but it turned into an acrid, vomit-like scent on me :’( if you’re able to definitely test it out first to see how it reacts w your skin!

La Fille de l'Air remains one of the most beautiful clean fragrances I have ever smelled. I was heartbroken when it was on the verge of being discontinued, so I was thrilled when Courrèges re-released it and I immediately repurchased a bottle. The scent profile is still that gorgeous, fresh, baby-like orange blossom that I fell in love with. It is very linear, but absolute perfection if you love this note. However, I have to be honest: I strongly suspect it has been reformulated. The new version seems to have lost some of its original intensity and sillage. In the past, I used to get stopped constantly by people telling me I smelled like a baby, but I get no compliments with this current bottle. It just doesn't project the way it used to. (Or I am too old to get compliments 😂)

This is Ocean City beach air, there's sunscreen but wafting through the air. Usually if I think of sunscreen when smelling a fragrance, it's of pumping the bottle directly under my nose. "Air" is apt, good job Courreges!!!
