Slogan

Oh wow! this is a super fluffy scent. It reminds me of Eau Duell for the first few minutes but it evolves fast into a more subtle musky vanilla scent. I adore Eau Duell and this brought a smile to my face because it takes the Eau Duell dna and gives it a little twist, a little more powdery, a little bit more feminine. I love Eau Duell and worry about it's possible discontinuation and reformulations, so every time I find something even slightly similar I feel happy. This feels like a flanker of Eau Duell...a flanker that has an extra dose of fluffy musk and powdery notes. It does have ambroxan, but so far I am not getting migraine or nausea, nor nose burning. I hope that the notes dissipates without causing discomfort. I really want a full bottle and back up of this. So so pretty!

I love this!!!! Slogan opens a little cold and screechy, mainly from the juniper and something that feels a bit like Gypsy Water. Although not unpleasant, the drydown is what got me completely sold on it: powdered sugar! This smells like a cashmere sweater and sweet snow. This is what I thought Hyper Musc would be. Slogan doesnt have the resinous or incensey qualities of Eau Duelle, and I feel like they do not compare as much as everyone else is saying. To me, this is a non-decadent marshmallow, comforting and versatile.

Although this fragrance is often described online as aromatic, for me it is really all about warm vanilla and soft musk. It is gentle, not sharp, with a slightly sweet touch. It reminds me a bit of eau duelle in its comforting, cozy vibe. I think the branding is completely misleading, but the scent itself is absolutely lovely. It also has impressive longevity and stays on the skin for hours. A truly enjoyable, long-lasting perfume.

Really nice and comforting scent, as it's meant to be. Yes it is a skin scent, yes i believe that's absolutely on purpose and the whole point of it. Puts me in a really calm state, i imagine a rainy day, staying at home with a nice book in hand. And of course my girl next to me saying it's a really cozy scent 😁.

This smells like musky tictac candies. Soft vanilla with light ambroxan, it stays on my wool clothes forever; it's the perfect cozy, non-gourmand vanilla that latches onto your skin and makes everyone sniff your neck longer when you hug them. I absolutely adore this perfume.

Seems very weak at first, then you realise it's somehow invisible and suffocating at the same time. It does smell good, although it mostly evokes a lemony vanilla cake + ambroxan and musk to me rather than juniper.

The opening is very peppery green and fresh, that's the juniper berries. I do find it gives a strong alcohol smell as well, but it doesn't last long. The dry down gets very soft, the musk if very present and you can smell a little bit of the juniper... but my nose was right on my skin. I think this hits right on the nose when it's presented as a musky fragrance. It is, on my skin at least, very pleasant. So it's a nice perfume, I think this would be perfect for someone that like more discrete scents. I'm not familiar with Courrèges... I'm curious to try out some of their other perfumes.

I really like this one! I feel like this is the first scent in some time that I've sampled that I actually really enjoy. It is reminiscent of Eau Duelle and Gypsy Water, but not a dead ringer, I like the differences here. Maybe a little more green and zingy, less vanillic, and more ambery. No citrus. The musk is also kind of vintage smelling and powdery, like an old Caron perfume I used to wear. A little cardamomy. Well done, Courreges. I would totally wear Slogan, it's very softly enveloping.

Slogan is a smooth and feathery vanilla musk. Agree that it smells like a fresh pack of minty tic tacs, or the innards of a peppermint patty. Voluminous and airy, it evokes the feeling of jumping under a big white doona. Recommend for those who can handle a bit of sweetness and are looking for something that feels poofy.

Very comfortable, soft, musky and woody skin scent, it's like a cashmere sweater. Usually I'm fed up with overdosed ambroxan fragrances, I often dislike it but here it is well blended and balanced with musks and light blond wood, it really melt with your skin and it's lovely, quite addictive.

It is funny to see how many babies Bois d’Argent generated. Even the box looks like the Dior. This perfume smells like it but not 100% similar. That said, it is very nice on skin and very cozy. I like it a lot, very subtle and chic

Super nostalgic smell, but don’t know where to place it. It indeed doesss smell like the mint tictacs. Tbh really enjoy this! Mixes well with my skin but it’s not a love. Just very light, neutral and huggable.

EDIT: I've come to tire of this one and do not find myself reaching for it. When I do have it on, I wish I'd picked another - one I prefer that feels more "me". --- This is one I wanted to test for me. Then my partner liked it so much, I bought it for him. (We both tested it first, as you should!) Juniper opening and light fizzy element, then musk (becomes somewhat vanilla-y as some people say, though note not listed). Somewhat of an ever so slight minty element, which I like. It's comforting, an easy go-to when you want to smell good and not sure what to wear and/or when you are not in the mood to wear a perfume that is complicated. Would go with most outfits/looks imo. Cosy. Uplifting. Seems to be one that would work for all seasons (yet to try outside of spring). This might by my gateway drug to vanilla. Long-lasting.

Creamy musky, soft, opaque with vanilla notes, almost woody floral. 85% similar to Allsaints Metal Wave. Reminds me of the "play-dough" vanilla notes people refer to in cuir beluga or like the notes in spiriteuse double vanille. This is more simple than those though. It performed almost too well on my skin. Unisex. Not a love, would not purchase a full size of this.

Can’t help but feel disappointed in this fragrance. On paper it sounded perfect - I adore juniper, love ambers, like musks. I am fine with close to the skin scents and minimalist compositions, as not every fragrance must be beastly. Also genre comparisons to Eau Duelle and Gypsy Water peaked my interest as both are a big love for me. On the skin, Slogan was meh at best, no matter how hard I tried to wholeheartedly like it. Ultimately it rings flat. Juniper Sling, Orpheon, MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver, Gypsy Water all deliver a better, more quality juniper note. In Slogan it seems more synthetic-sharp. Eau Duelle delivers a far superior woody vanilla experience, Angel Dust a more etherial clean vanilla. Glossier You, Fleur de Peau, Le Musc & La Peau (both flankers) and a number of other musky skin scents do a better, fluffier musk. So I am left longing for at least one aspect of Slogan where it would capture my interest. I get a peek of a pleasant, soft sweetened amber just as the fragrance is about to disappear. But that is not enough to redeem it. It is not a bad fragrance, don’t get me wrong. But in a battle against all the aformentioned fragrances, it always comes up last for me. Probably will be parting ways with my bottle of Slogan.

I agree, Slogan is simple: vanilla, white musk and cough syrup. A strong pass. Too much ambroxan for me.

Curiously, my tests with this perfume have coincided in time with those I have been doing with 312 Saint Honoré by BDK. In this sense, Slogan seemed to me to be something like the musk and ambroxan base of the BDK but inverted (that is, in Saint Honoré the ambroxan is perhaps the most predominant between the two ingredients while in the Courrèges it is the musk ), with a fleeting juniper opening and, of course, without the rest of the ingredients. The musk of the Courrèges is also gentler and less pungent and feels somewhat sweetened in the dry down by an unlisted vanilla. Overall, I find this a unisex and clean fragrance, but very soft and lasts only 2-3 hours on my skin, very close to it, which makes it too subtle for my personal taste or my nose abilities. Perhaps it could be the perfume for those who want to take a break from powerful fragrances or work in an environment where it is very important not to overwhelm those around but, given its poor performance, at least on my skin, I would definitely recommend trying it before buying it, since it is also not a cheap perfume. Slogan opens on a quiet juniper-musk. Then some powdery heliotrope and almond appear, bringing some slight rice-like sweetness. Soon it gets more prominent and becomes a tiny, lovely desert. I do not sense much ambroxan here. It is cosy, but strongly reminds me of Nicolai’s Kiss Me Tender/Intense, only the latter are more delicate. It is not ground-breaking nor unique, but still lovely. The best of this new collection.

if you're looking for projection and sillage, this is not it. it is, however, the fluffiest, coziest musk ever. do not be worried about the ambroxan - it is subtle and takes a back seat to that gorgeous vanillic musk. this is expensive, and may not be worth the price if you want something that others can detect. but for a skin scent that you can enjoy on your own, it is simple but sublime.

I totally agree with all of those saying this smells like a package of minty tictacs. It's definetily sweeter than I expected and, even though vanilla is not listed in the notes, there is for sure some in here. It's nice but sometimes I find it headache inducing because of its sweetness. I also find it more suitable in colder weather
