Old World Jasmine Flower Water

I really love this scent, it makes me feel calm and peaceful. The Jasmine is very soft and clean. I wonder if there are other similar perfume in edp? I tried Bvlgari mon jasmin noir but it wasn't similar at all, too woody for me. Any suggestions?

Very clean lovely Jasmine! Sometimes Jasmine themed perfume can be cloyed stuffed and outdated feeling. But this one is so light clean airy but long lasting!!! One of the best in this category!!!

It's a very light jasmine perfume, perfect for spraying on pillow for a good nights sleep.

Gorgeous white floral toilet water for the home. As a floral fragrance enthusiast, this is my cup of tea. First of all let me start with the bottle. Such a charming old fashioned glass bottle of perfume. Reminds me of some toilet water with a gardenia scent that my mother had in the bathroom back in the 1940s-50s. This frag has been discontinued it would seem so I went looking for it on eBay. I have used a bottle up already from last year. Opens with a fresh lemon scent, quite bubbly and similar to citrusy bath water or splash but it disappears and turns into a decidedly white floral feminine fragrance. I detect the jasmine as the biggest note but it comes with gardenia and tuberose. A violet scent lingers in the background somewhat faintly. This is all about the jasmine and the white florals. As such one would associate this scent with older mature ladies mothers and grandmothers and or classic white florals like Fracas or L'Air du Temps but those frags are far more complex and longer lasting. This one is linear and simple, very easy to wear as an after bath splash to scent your skin when it's fresh from a shower. Nothing big or glamorous about this one. It's downright homely. It's like something out of the middle class home of a Victorian family in the 19th century, or something perhaps even an Amish or Mennonite family would have as their toilet water. A beautiful dry down of musk, clean and soapy, with the scent of the jasmine still in the air. Very beautiful jasmine petals mingling with gardenia in water. Fresh and floral, summery and invigorating. I thank my lucky stars that Crabtree & Evelyn has come up with such a lovely scent among so many.
