Persian Thé

This smells amazing! It's definitely enchanting, complex and different! Cinnamon is beautifully done in this fragrance. It smells indeed like an expensive green tea, with cinnamon and other spices in it, but with a sexy and sultry note. I feel like a goddess when I spray this on. The only drawback is it costs a lot of money and it only comes in a huge 100 ml bottle (I have trouble finishing one of those except if it's Chance EDT!). If they made a smaller bottle, I would have already bought it!

I usually go for citrusy, fruity scents, so when I tried this on and immediately LOVED it, I was really surprised. The intense gingery spiciness just hooked me straight away. I spent the rest of the afternoon just loving every time I picked up a little waft of it from my wrist. Purchased my first bottle the next day. I think this could be my new signature scent.

This is a really nice straight down the line unisex fragrance to my nose. Not over powering nor is it weak. About 2 hours of projection and 7 hours of longevity on my skin. I get hints of patchouli, some spice, black tea, cardamom, cedar and amber. I got this for a steal online (less than 30 US) and can't be more pleased. Enjoy!

I love it but longevity could be better for the price!

This conjures smells I noticed cruising the Nile a couple of years ago. I could quite imagine Agatha Christie working on her novel Death On The Nile, concealed in her suite at Aswan's Old Cataract Hotel with comparable aromas wafting from the streets below. There is a time in the day when those aromas are more noticeable: after the close of business and the dust from the hordes settles. The harsh sunlight gives way to the gentler light that comes with late afternoon, and the calm that descends triggers a tumult in birdlife. The shaded green that is leafy Kitchener's Island becomes steadily obscured by the dazzling ochre of the desert cliffs behind. A time to throw wide the balcony louvres, and with a long gin and tonic in hand, attune oneself to the wonder of the scene before you. To absorb the increasing stillness as the sun bows towards the horizon, and to hear the call to prayer from a distant minaret echoing off the town's buildings nearby. And perhaps to contemplate the multitudes who for five millennia have similarly paused in such momentary awe. Opens with cinnamon and ginger, followed by cardamom, tea and nutmeg. The patchouli and cedar are definitely of a lighter representation and more evident as the top notes dissipate. As it warms on the skin the nutmeg re-emerges reminding me in this particular regard of Vera Wang For Men. The amber adds a real cosy warmth. Fleetingly reminiscent of M Generation (Mauboussin) and Portrait For Men (Paul Smith). Cultured, charming, and unisex, Persian Thé is a sophisticated and sensual composition that always attracts compliments. The projection is especially good for the first three hours, and the longevity better than I've come to expect from Crabtree & Evelyn of late.
