Vanilla CEO

I've tried so many green vanillas that I have loved. Eau duelle is of course one of them. But this beats them all, and no green notes! The initial spray is a very masculine, spicy vanilla that dries down more unisex. It's not a gourmand vanilla, so don't expect that it has that edible vibe. The spicininess must come from the amber or the wood, or maybe my olfactory system has gone nuts. It's incredibly addicting and complex. The dry down is a softer vanilla than the initial spray and from there it sits close to the skin for a while. Very comforting. The longevity isn't great, around 4-5 hours on my skin, but still it is SO priceworthy! I haven't really smelled anything like this before, it's truly unique to me. So proud that it's a swedish perfume house! I'm so done with the overhyped, overpriced Byredo. I hope Cra-yon gets more attention, they really deserve it!

This perfume is wonderful, a delicious vanilla mixed with orchid in the Orcjidee Vanille Line by Van Cleaf and Arpels. It is not a sweet and heavy gourmand vanilla, but the floral part softens and refreshes the aroma a lot, making it a perfect vanilla for everyday use, for work, as a signature and under any climate. Of course, I use it more in summer than in winter since, for a purely personal reason, in winter I prefer things that are a little heavier. I see it as totally unisex and easy to wear and it has good longevity for the type of aroma. It creates a kind of vanilla aura around you, which is true only felt at short distances, but which lasts well for 5-6 hours. The price is also very affordable. The truth is that I love this brand, and among their perfumes this is one of my favorites.

I like it, but it's quite sweet on me. Reminding me of vanilla fudge with a very slight floral. The opening had some nice bergamot and orange blossom as well, but that faded much too fast. Lasting power is moderate, I can still smell it on my arm 8 h later, but it's very faint. Will definitely use up my 2 ml sample, but probably not buy a full size. EDIT: After using my sample a couple times more it's now a woody almost spicy vanilla. No florals and less sweet. I love it!

Very weak, not sure I could smell anything. I will try it again but I am disappointed sorry 😞 Edit: I smelled it again and I can now, and I really like it!! So delicate and pretty

A nice, floral & vanilla perfume. Best suited for a middle-aged lady

So surprised about people disliking this scent so much. It is actually one of the rare vanilla perfumes I like, so often they just remind me of car air fresheners, but this one feels fresh and albeit sweet, not at all suffocating but a very pleasant kind of vanilla. I don't get the plasticky feel people mentioned. It's just a nice floral-citrus scent, and I'm happy to catch a whiff throughout the day when I wear it. Funnily, it does remind me of one thing, very strongly. The Spice Girls had a perfume in the 90ies that was all the rage, it really is similar, although a more sophisticated version of that I should say.

I would call this a fluffy, airy vanilla, similar to Atelier Cologne Vanilla Insensee (RIP) or Dedcool Taunt. It's not heavy or vanilla essence-y, it's fresh, slightly floral. Gorgeous. Soft. Office friendly, even.

This smells like a very nice genuine vanilla on me. I think it smells good but not anything I would wear.

CEO is a curious choice of title don’t you think? This from a brand that seems to promote a kind of trendy, sustainable, socially conscious vibe with the Vegan and genderless proclamations plastered on the packaging. I suppose you can be a good CEO not a elite bastard shitting on the little guy, but there you go. Anyway... this is a boring vanilla to me. Opens fairly nicely, clearly sweet with vanillin and a light floral accord developing, but hey come on, it’s crushingly uninspired. I think in its defence it reminded me of something from the Vanille collection from Sylvanne Delacourte which is actually not much of a defence as I found them pretty uninspiring despite the Guerlain connection. Cloying after a short time and I really didn’t enjoy wearing it. Sorry. It’s not just because I’m some woody, natural vanilla absolute snob or something, I like plenty of more modest vanillas just not this one.

Something sharp and plasticky in here. I wouldn't say it's bad, but it is odd. I think calling it vanilla is a misnomer and will lead to people (including myself) having the wrong expectations. A part of me wants to like this because it is unusual but at the end of the day, this just isn't how I want to smell.

Barely a Vanilla Intern, not a whole CEO. You are met by sharp alcohol at first spray and much less vanilla than cyclamen with bergamot, but the flowers are half real - not for dreamcore lovers, save your money. It does have the plastic feel, and not in a pleasant way.

Naming it "Vanilla CEO" is a bold choice for a fragrance that smells vaguely like plastic flowers. Something about this one feels off, I do not enjoy smelling it - at all.

This one really depends on your skin type. I thought I’d like it from the notes but it doesn’t smell anything but BO.

There’s really no scent to be detected here, it’s just the sharp smell of a generic hairspray from your local supermarket. Seriously, what vanilla? What anything? Why? I love vanilla and orange blossom, technically I should be loving this perfume just looking at the notes. I own a perfume with almost identical notes which is fantastic. What on earth did they do to manage to ruin this? Why is this brand so notoriously bad at blending perfumes?

Not heavy vanilla at all like the name would suggest. A floral and light scent that is crisp with a slight sweet note. Big fan, perfect for everyday and spring.

Too cute for it's name. 30 min later: it's sooooo synthetic, vanilla orchid, black orchid always smells synthetic to me and this one is not an exception

This is a strange one...sharp and synthetic without actual vanilla like the commenter below mentions.
