Poule de Luxe Vanilla Pom d'Amour

This beauty came to me as part of a perfume lot on EBay; otherwise I would never have known about nor been inspired to try this as I don't typically wear solid perfumes. Because of the adorable container, I saved it to wear on my birthday to Cirque Du Soleil "Iris" because it smelled "happy" and also because the design reminded me of the main character in Iris with the striped outfit. It turned out to be the best choice for that show ever, and from that day forward, the smell of this scent reminds me of that magical happy day! All I can say is WOW! This truly is a happy, comforting, fun, delicious perfume. It's like bottled angel wings or maybe an entire day at a carnivale from your best childhood memories in a bottle! Every now and then, during the show, I would get this heavenly scent wafting around and I'd think, "I wonder who smells so divine?" only to realize that IT WAS ME!!!! I wish that there was an EDP or something with a bit more silage because when you smell THAT GOOD, you want it to last and project! Nowadays when I wear it, I layer it with a lotion and another EDP gourmand; usually something with vanilla - the last time it was BBW warm vanilla sugar lotion + body spray + Vanilla Pom D'Amour, before that it was Gaultier Ma Dame lotion + EDP + Vanilla Pom D'Amour (because both smell like happy pinks to me), and I carry it in my purse to reapply often.

Its smells devine. Bought as part of a set and I love it. Not too kean on the feel of the perfume on my skin but the scent makes up for that more or less. Certainly a comfort smells and a great pick me up. Only use it once in a while as have never seen it sold since :S

These small solid perfumes are amazing. The smell doesn't last a lot but I purchased it to use it sometimes on my wrists during day. It's perfect when you live in big towns with strange smells (pollution...) : Crazylibellules and the Poppies smells are clean. I liked Vanille Pomme d'Amour : these two scents are actually very present and this version is lasting longer than others (there are a lot of sticks, all different).
