Creed Absolu Aventus: The Prodigal Son Returns, Smelling of Cinnamon Absolu Aventus is what happens when the most successful fragrance in modern history takes a gap year. Regular Aventus is the guy who peaked in a good way smoky pineapple, boardroom energy, worn by roughly one in four men at any given wedding. Absolu is that same guy after twelve months somewhere cold, where he grew a beard, developed strong opinions about spice markets, and came back convinced he's a different person now. He isn't. But he does smell very good, and he's charging you three hundred and fifty dollars to hear about it. Presentation Jet black. Completely, unrepentantly jet black Creed's classic squat flacon rendered in a colour that says "I have a driver." The original Aventus bottle is grey and speckled like polished granite; Absolu ditches the marbling entirely and goes full obsidian, which is the visual equivalent of a man switching to an all-black wardrobe and expecting you not to comment. It's beautiful. It's also the kind of object that gets photographed on a hotel bathroom shelf next to a watch, and both of you know it. Scent Profile The opening is a citrus flashbang. Grapefruit and bergamot arrive first with lemon in support, and there's a lift here that regular Aventus simply doesn't have. Brighter, more polished, like someone opened a window in a room you'd got used to. Blackcurrant sits just underneath doing the tart, slightly sticky work. It smells expensive within four seconds, which is exactly the trick you paid for. Then the pineapple shows up, because of course it does. This is Aventus DNA and it was never going anywhere. But it's been ambushed on arrival by pink pepper, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, the entire spice aisle staging an intervention. The fruit is still there, it's just now attending a dinner party where everyone is talking over it. This is the section that makes Absolu feel like autumn while the original feels like a Tuesday in June. The dry-down is smoky Haitian vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss, ambroxan, tonka and musk, and it goes warm. Where classic Aventus lands on that crisp birch-smoke plateau, Absolu settles into something creamier and rounder, sweetened just enough to keep everyone at the table happy. It's a bonfire on a beach, three hours in, when the fruit has caramelised and everyone's stopped pretending they're leaving early. The Batch Question We have to. It's Creed. Absolu launched in 2023 as a limited edition, was brought back in 2024 as a recurring "crop," and got another go in 2025, and enthusiasts will tell you at length which year was the real one. Some are right. All are unbearable. Sample before you commit and let the forums fight it out without you. Longevity and Sillage Strong genuinely 8 to 10 hours, which for Creed is practically a personality transplant given the house's historical talent for vanishing at lunchtime. Sillage is a two-hour firework followed by a long, close-to-the-skin simmer. It announces itself, then leans in and gets quiet, which is arguably more effective than shouting. Versatility Very high, with one caveat. It's a cool-weather machine, autumn evenings, dinners, dates, the office if your office has a decent HVAC system. In genuine heat the spice-and-sweetness stack gets a bit much. Also worth knowing: it lives in the same postcode as Sauvage Elixir. If you already own that one, you are about to spend a great deal of money on a very sophisticated echo. Overall Impressions Absolu Aventus is superb, and it is not new. It's the finest possible version of a thing you have already smelled, richer, spicier, better behaved, wrapped in a black bottle and priced like a small appliance. If you love Aventus and have always wished it were warmer, this is a genuine upgrade and you'll be delighted. If you were hoping Creed had invented something, this is your polite reminder that the prodigal son came home with a beard, not a new personality. Worth it? If money is a concept you engage with loosely, absolutely. If not, sample it, love it, and go buy something no one else at the wedding is wearing. If you’re a guy like me, who can’t wait for samples and need a signature scent that stands out but don’t know what to blind-buy, THIS IS IT. Let’s just pause for a second and smell the atomizer off the bottle one more time, because DAMN does this stuff scream masculinity! Hands down the best masculine interpretation of a fruity scent I’ve ever smelled. Close your eyes and picture this: You’re outside overlooking the mountainous terrain and forest from your back lawn. To your right is your garden, and surrounding it are lots of trees and plants that grow many fruits. You stoke the fire in front of you, and finish the wooden bowl your carving. You pick your fruits, and pluck a rose for your wife inside, you put it all on your brand new hand-made bowl, and carry it over, setting it near the fire on a pile of wood shavings from earlier. The smoke from the fire pours over the bowl of fruit, seeping into every grain of the bowl. You sit down, put the bowl in your lap, close your eyes and take a deep breath in. This fragrance is THAT moment, a fruity, smoky, woody musk with a hint of spice. It’s truly a stunner! My entire review pertains solely to Aventus Absolu 2023 Limited edition, I’ve not smelled the Absolu 2025 edition yet. Regardless, this scent SCREAMS pure masculine aura, it will have heads turning and I can promise you women will ask you what you’re wearing, it’s that damn good. This scent quickly became my #1 scent of all time, there’s something about this that Aventus just can’t live up to. This is the older, more sophisticated, successful and powerful brother to Aventus, and it makes itself known that way. I will be buying as many bottles as I can find of the 2023 limited edition Aventus Absolu, and personally I think it’s an easy blind-buy safe, much like the regular Aventus. Rating: 9.5/10 Scent - 10/10 Longevity - 9/10 Sillage - 8.5/10 Performance in Public - 10/10 ( this scent is by far one of the most alluring masculine scents out there. It’s a complement magnet in any weather, for any occasion. I’ve had women ask me what I’m wearing and sit there and smell me over and over mid conversation about it. Ive had older women come up to me in public and tell me how much they absolutely adore my scent and ask what it is so they can get it for their husband. This is one of the few scents I own that I feel actually changes my persona when I wear it, in the best most masculine way possible.)

Okay, think I got enough time with my bottle to actually write a review of it. This is post owning a bottle, also, of Club de Nuit Precieux. For the batch-interested public, this is from an F001391 bottle in the 75ml version, just to confirm, and coming from past experience with decants, etc. Absolutely Aventus! Has the DNA, wearability, interest, and quality that Creed delivers in the original with of course some obvious nuance and distinction. Nonetheless, obviously a flanker of Aventus, even more so than Aventus Cologne perhaps. My search for the darn 75ml came to an end after trying multiple times from the 100ml and hearing that the 75ml bottles are much heavier and sweeter even, with the addition of having this closer similarity with the licorice from Sauvage Elixir (the differences are apparent side by side, but not super obvious by memory). With one or the other you're well served of Absolu Aventus - to the unadvised, ABSOLUTELY, the same fragrance haha Elegant and semi-casual, dress it up or down, and hopefully undress with your lady because, boy, this is something that certainly pleases everyone I know. Smells delicious, very masculine, well rounded, and honestly the only season I may push back is summer because I do want my heavier citruses and aquatics during that time. Nothing against wearing it particularly for summer evenings due to the added sweetness and elegance. Can be worn to work and would fit, again, a less casual setting but even for a signature fragrance this is fantastic! I would say that beyond over 30 helps, but not at all a mature fragrance. Nowadays, getting Absolu Aventus is more of a status thing than anything else - CDN Precieux serves just about the same as AA does, at a much lower price tag. To the casuals, Absolu Aventus will not be worth it. To me, I buy the brand, too, so I went with the original - if you want to gift, however, anyone with a beautiful fragrance that is very close to AA, give them CDN Precieux, it's a great scent independently of its similarity with AA!

Very, very nice. Definitely one of the better all around masculine fragrances on the market. However, not truly exceptional, and not worth the asking price from Creed. My favorite part is the opening and the mid. But I am not particularly fond of the dry down. The opening is gorgeous. Probably my favorite part. Fruity, complex, deep, rich. Grapefruit really works beautifully here. Then into the mid, the cinnamon begins to come through through and I really enjoy this as well. This first 2 hours is where I really like the fragrance the most. After that in the dry down, it starts to unfortunately become more mossy and loses a lot of the sweetness from the fruit. In the air, it smells smells really good. But, up close if you smell it directly on skin or clothes, it starts to become bitter and mossy to me. Maybe this is what people are talking about with the sauvage elixir comparisons? I don't know because I haven't tried elixir. Not a "Bad" smell but just not particularly pleasant at all. And frankly, I think for the price, it would be nice if that didn't happen. I think you can wear this in any weather other than hot or extremely cold. Anywhere in the middle is good. Leans a bit mature and ever so slightly into fougere territory. I think you can wear it either dressed up or casual but it will shine dressed up. It is a really solid option if you're looking for something very high quality, luxurious, undoubtably masculine, and mass appealing. This is rich, fruity, very natural, with some spices. The price is too much. If that is something which deters you, I would definitely go with something else. There are things that are better for less money. However, one benefit to the price is that not a lot of people will be wearing this out and about. And it doesn't yet have the following that Aventus has. I bought this at full retail. I probably wouldn't do that again. I will honestly mark it as an 8.5/10 or a 9/10 depending on the day. If you factor in the price, I'd call it an 8.

#27 on my Fragrance Review Journey Here are my two cents on this fragrance. Does it smell good? No. It smells amazing. 10/10 Does it last long? 10 hours on my hydrated skin. On clothes until you wash them. 10/10 Does it project? This is not beast mode projection. For me a few feet and it didn't need to do anything more. 10/10 How is the sillage? The scent trail is amazing and lasted close to 8 hours. 10/10 Compliment getter? Absolutely!! Is the price worth it? In the world of discounters and reputable dealers and collectors selling fragrances, you can find this around the $250 price point or a little less. It is still expensive, so shop around. I got a great deal and feel it was completely worth it. 6/10 Is it better than the OG? This is a proper flanker. The color of the bottle fits perfectly. It is more elegant and mysterious. If the OG is James Bond, Absolu is Bruce Wayne right before he transitions. It's mature and delightful. It makes the OG proud. Better depends on what you are looking for. I opted for the more mature take. Does it smell like Supremacy Collector's Edition and/or Club De Nuit Precieux? Both dupes smell fantastic. These are the best examples of two companies that have upped their game when it comes to playing in the Aventus ballpark. I have personally owned Collector's Edition and have sampled Precieux. They both smell similar. For some noses, the differences are indistinguishable. After using Absolu, I can appreciate how much distance Creed stands apart from these dupes. The quality, elegance, and mastery really help to drive the love for the artistry behind this fragrance. If you are able to have this experience, you will likely not be disappointed. Does it smell like Sauvage Elixir? Insert crickets.... Not to my nose. Not at all. I am a fanboy!!

Popped into my local Creed store and had a great conversation with the rep there while getting my nose on a bunch of their fragrances. I initially went in because I previously (years ago) thoroughly enjoyed Aventus Cologne and was considering picking it up but of course I had to smell the other options since I never had the chance And wow, this one just captivated me - much more so than anything else in there. That was a big surprise as honestly, this wasn't really on my radar. It's dark and rich - the pineapple at the opening is beautiful and yet the scent just screams masculinity. The dry down also has a good amount of sweetness to keep it crowd-pleasing enough. Fair warning, I have no previous reference point with Absolu as I know some folks compare this to prior iterations of the frag, and I hear Creed suffers from batch inconsistency - but man, my experience with this one was awesome. I even sprayed it on a few times and while the performance was a bit underwhelming over the long term (4+ hours), I was still able to catch whiffs here and there and was captivated each time all the same. Truthfully I didn't have the budget to buy something, but the rep and I seemed to hit it off well enough that she gave me a sample of this and regular Aventus as I told her "I'm on the hunt for my first niche purchase." Truthfully, I know I will buy one of them some day soon as I have made a pact to not buy any more frags unless I absolutely love them, and I can say that about this one. Added to my to-buy list. 9.1/10.

I bought a 5ml decant of this when Absolu Aventus came out. I used up more half decided to look around for a bottle. I was able to get from a trusted source a retail bottles at sgd330 but then they messaged me and up popped a tester (without cap) for sgd240 and that's about usd178. Good deal since my source always give great pricing. To those who kept saying it's similar to Sauvage Elixir, it's the nutmeg and cinnamon notes giving you this familiarity. Not surprised since S.Elixir is such a cash cow for Dior and Creed need to release something that has its vibes. Many large houses and small houses did so, many Designer Houses did so, H.Boss did so well with their bottled elixir. Numerous ME dupe houses did. Creed need a share of that pie, what's best is releasing something with a dna that's humongously popular and riding on their best selling frag's name. Doesn't matter the critics. It Will Sell. Did a full wear on the new bottle and the opening seems to move on pretty fast. It wasn't projecting as much as my decant also. Perhaps it's new and the bottle needs some sitting or it wasn't aged enough in the manufacturing process but aren't all AA supposed to be at least triple aged. Nonetheless I wasn't surprised since og Aventus also wasn't that lasting on skin. Since I got it at such a nice price I'll probably keep and use it whenever I want.

I think this will never be as iconic as the original Aventus but I think in a lot of ways it is an improvement on the original. Many will say that this is Aventus mixed with Sauvage Elixir but I actually think this really just took a DNA from 15 years ago and made it more contemporary. We are in a world where Angel’s Share is among the most universally beloved fragrances. Adding warm spices to Aventus makes a whole lot of sense. classic Aventus had some bad luck with regulations hindering the original ingredients leaving recent formulations being a shell of what the GOAT once was. While, the F batches are taking steps in the right direction, this adjustment of the formula allowed for an Aventus which performs much closer to the original because it needs not rely on the ingredients that have been getting regulated. Further, this doesn’t rely on Ambroxan anywhere near to the extent that the original did so that fixes the fragrance for both people who are anosmic to the molecule (like myself) and those who find it headache inducing. The price tag is unconscionable on this bottle so it will never earn full marks from me but I will say, this is a go to for me and I think most people will love this. If you can get a bottle for under $300usd, I would advise going for it.

There is a reason why Absolu Aventus is as hyped up as it is. I have a 75ml bottle of this version and it is absolutely amazing. You can where this anytime, anywhere, and you will feel absolutely confident that you smell better than anyone. This fragrance is a total compliment machine and in my experience one that women absolutely love. I've worn it to the office and quite literally walked through a hall and had 3 different people compliment me back to back to back. Anyone who has an issue with its longevity or performance is 100% just going noseblind. I wore this to work with only 3 sprays and a good 4 hours after applying my boss walked into my office and immediately from across the room said "It smells sexy in here, is that you?". I was happy for the compliment but honestly a little self conscious afterwards about how much i must be filling the room. I've now toned it down to 2 sprays for the office which really is a great thing to know how well it performs. Is it the most complex? No. Is it something so unique you've never smelled anything close to it? No. What it is, is a well crafted, masculine, expensive smelling, fragrance that does exactly what its supposed to do and it does a damn good job at it.

Aventus Absolu is hands down my favorite scent, flaws and all. The opening hits with smooth pineapple and clean woods. It just feels expensive, fresh, and effortless—like walking into a room as Bruce Wayne. No overwhelming cologne cloud, just pure presence. People often compare it to Sauvage Elixir, but I don’t get that at all. This one is way more refined. No harshness, no spice overload—just clean, classy, and perfectly blended. Performance is average, no sugarcoating it. It doesn’t last long on my skin, and for the price, you’d expect better. But honestly, I don’t mind. The scent is that good. I’d happily reapply three times a day if needed. It lasts about six hours on me before it becomes more of a skin scent, with strong projection for around four hours. It works anywhere—formal events, casual outings, date nights. If I could keep only one bottle, this would be it. I’d rate it 6 out of 10 because of the price and performance, but a solid 10 out of 10 in my heart. In short, it’s Bruce Wayne in a bottle. Smooth pineapple and clean woods. The price stings, but it’s still my number one. Six out of ten with my head, ten out of ten with my heart. RobTheScent - Honest takes. Big nose energy.

Rating 10/10 I’ve built up a solid collection of heavy hitters—Parfums de Marly, Creed, Mancera, Louis Vuitton, to name a few. But Aventus Absolu shot straight into my top 3 without hesitation. What really surprised me was my wife’s reaction. She usually dislikes the opening of most fragrances, but for the first time, she loved it right from the start. She can’t get enough of this scent on me—and honestly, I get it. It’s sexy, refined, and has that magnetic pull. A true compliment magnet that I thoroughly enjoy wearing. Some say it smells like Sauvage Elixir—I personally don’t get that at all, and I’m not a fan of Sauvage Elixir anyway. To my nose, there’s no real similarity. I own the original Aventus and the Cologne version, but this one is hands down my favourite. It’s one of those scents you might go nose blind to, and yet I’ve had people compliment me on it even seven hours in, when I thought it had faded. All in all, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s not just a standout in my collection—it’s also my wife’s favourite on me, and given how picky she is, that makes it well worth every penny.

Creed Aventus Absolu has become my signature fragrance and, without doubt, my favourite scent in my collection. I'm not a fragrance expert, just someone who enjoys wearing fragrances that make me feel good, and this one does exactly that. From the moment I first smelled it, I knew there was something special about it. The opening is fresh, fruity and powerful, but what really stands out to me is how smooth and refined it feels throughout the entire wear. As it develops, it keeps the unmistakable Aventus DNA while adding a darker, richer twist that feels more mature and luxurious. It's one of those fragrances that constantly makes you want to smell your wrist throughout the day. The price is certainly a consideration, and there are inspired alternatives available that come surprisingly close. However, having owned both, there's still something about Creed Aventus Absolu that feels a little more polished and complete. For me, this isn't just another fragrance in the collection—it's the one I reach for most often and the scent I'd choose if I could only own one bottle. An easy 9.5/10 from me.

Please hate on it. Please buy one that fell off a truck and doesn’t have a cap. Please dissuade all the toxic compliment hunters to buy it. Because I wouldn’t like to smell this delicious scent on such fellas anywhere in the wild. Stick to your awesome clones. Meanwhile I feel like an urban emperor when I’m sporting a couple of sprays under my Woolrich parka. I prefer it to my smoky oakmoss bottle of Aventus which I purchased in 2015. It’s more masculine. Refined, yet domineering in a good way. If you want to move forward in life and don’t want to play safe or feel the need for another person’s approval, this is the juice made for you. It may have a little bit of that Elixir vibe, and it also slightly reminds me of Viking. But the green notes and classic Aventus scent add brilliance and a sense of ‘I’m in charge’ to the mix. A couple of years from now, everybody will desire a bottle. I’m a grateful early adopter. 10/10 👍🏻

This has become a staple in my collection. I find myself wearing this over so many other fragrances in my collection. My girlfriend absolutely loves it, might be her favorite that I own. So I wear it on our date nights a lot. Then for special occassions I think "hmm what's something I have that's classier" and it's this. Something office friendly? What's more office friendly than Aventus. I love how it's not overly rich or cloying either, it's perfectly able to be worn year round. Performance is alright, I get around 5-6 hours. I tend to do some extra sprays with this one and I'm good to go. Sometimes 10-12 if I'm looking for compliments, and it doesn't offend anyone. Which this does get a lot compliments from strangers, friends, coworkers. Everyone loves it on me. If I could only have 2 fragrances in my collection, this would have to be one of them for how great it smells along how versatile it is. 10/10 in my book.

Y’all act like imbeciles. You complain that “this isn’t original” or “this is a cash grab” or “this smells like this other cologne I have”. You do realize you’re the same people who buy Dior Savage which has tons of flankers, or D&G The One which has a ton of flankers, or Gucci which has a ton of flankers, or Aqua Di Gio which has a ton of flankers, or YSL which has a ton of flankers. Yet when Creed makes 2 flanker of Aventus, Cologne and Absolu, you all freak out and lose your minds and post negative comments about how they “aren’t original”. LOL, you guys need to get your heads checked. Creed Aventus is a great cologne, probably the best ever made. Aventus Cologne is a great take on the OG and a bit more citrusy for that sporty vibe. Absolu Aventus is a great take on the OG and a bit more spicy and earthy for that deeper/dark vibe. That’s 2 flankers to the world’s most renowned/famous cologne. Get a grip y’all.

Best version of Aventus by far. It has that Pineapple DNA but with the darkness of the cinnamon and other fruit notes like Grapefruit it just smells so much more pleasant and fresh and masculine. It is also extremely versatile and could be a signature scent in the winter or the summer, but for me personally this is more of a special occasion/date/office scent than anything. Its not extremely strong, projection is probably just a foot but it is very long lasting and that makes it worth the price considering how quality it smells and it has the best bottle of any fragrance i own lol. I have tried a couple dupes, but when comparing to the real thing there is just too big of a difference to not get this. It is admittedly a little over priced for what it is, so I would have to knock a point off and give this a 8.5 or 9/10, but its amazing.

This is the ultimate Aventus. Unfortunately, on my skin it did not linger for long enough. Had very okay performance in all 4x tests I did with my decant from ZGO. Smells rich and very much redundant with Aventus and I do pick up something from Sauvage Elixir, but never at the forefront of the fragrance. This smells of the price but unfortunately, though not being an advocate for everything to have beastly performance, I expected at least 6-8h from this, and only got round 4-5h of soft projection. Could it cost $250 for the 75ml? I think so, but honestly I'd pay $280-290 if I could get a stronger perfumed longevity. Smell beautiful either way, but worth sampling and trying out if the performance makes it worth the money for you. In smell alone it would for me, but just didn't have what I was looking for with this dna.

Now that more than enough time has passed for the dust to settle after this one's release, I feel like I can share my thoughts on Absolu Aventus by Creed. This is by no means a redundant flanker. It keeps that same iconic fruity chypre energy of the original, and adding to it some spiciness and sweetness, giving it a slightly darker accent. Some people would compare this extra hint of spicy sweetness to Sauvage Elixir, and I agree but thankfully without the offensive performance of the latter. This is a wonderful release and absolutely worth trying if you're already of Aventus. I would say it has the same functionality as Aventus but for someone who wants an extra layer to the already timeless classic DNA. Performs just as well as the original if not better. Overall a pretty good fragrance. 8.5/10!

Aventus Absolu can be described in one word: WOW! It opens with a mouthwatering, fresh, and juicy pineapple-citrus combo that dries down into an elegant, tropical, masculine scent with vetiver, musk, and sandalwood. Performance is solid. Now, that's what you call an upgrade! This flanker is definitely a step up from the original Aventus DNA that everyone and their mother is trying to copy. Better in every single way - juicier, sexier, yet darker and more versatile than the OG. It's nothing short of a masterpiece! Hats off to Creed - they really outdid themselves with this one, especially since most of their recent releases have been underwhelming at best. The price point is on the steeper side, but if you decide to make the purchase, there’s not much else you’ll need in your collection.

I am afraid I've put off aventus and it's flankers for far too long. I guess the hype and popularity always turned me off a little. I've smelled aventus in stores and out and about but I have finally decided to actually give these fragrances a proper testing with multiple wears. About an hour and a half into wearing Absolu, you get this incredibly classy, soft, masculine and confident scent profile. It just smells like you are calm, mature, have your shit together but you still know how to kick back and have a good time. I really cannot see anyone disliking this scent. Not only is it easy to understand and enjoy but it is simultaneously captivating and addictive, It's sometimes hard to find something that is both niche and mass appealing in this way. It's a 10/10 for me.

For me, this is by far the best version of Aventus. it has that added spicyness and longevity that reminds me of the original Aventus of old. Really good stuff. However, Creed are doing customers dirty on pricing here. and the whole exclusive marketing gimmick is just another excuse to bump the price every time it comes back into stock(triple-aged nonsense). On principle alone I would not purchase this. (I've had several samples). not that creed give a sh1t what I think. People are obviously forking out for it otherwise the price would have come down. To summarise, it's a Lovely scent, but, the price tag along with some dirty marketing/pricing tactics by Creed would put this as a firm no for me.

This is my current favorite fragrance. I enjoy everything about it. The pineapple is bright and juicy. I love how it is fresh and dark at the same time. This is my go to fragrance. I have made a huge dent in the bottle. Definitely will purchase this again and again. The 75ml is alleged to be more smokey and less fruity. I am not 100% sure of that it may be the power of suggestion lol. It is great. Edit: I did repurchase. This time a 75ml. I also got in on a split for super cheap and got a 50ml bottle. It is that good in my opinion. Scent: 9.9 Projections: 7.5 Sillage: 7.5 Value: 8 Overall: 9.5 (scent is the most important to me) Occasions: Gym, office/school, date, special occasion, whenever.

Scent-wise, Absolu Aventus is a strong contender for the best fragrance in my collection. I’ve owned both this and the original Aventus, and I prefer Absolu by far. The OG Aventus has an incredible opening, but I grew to dislike its super smoky, musky dry-down over time. Absolu Aventus, on the other hand, replaces that with a DNA reminiscent of Sauvage Elixir—one of my all-time favorite winter scents. That said, I wouldn’t classify Absolu Aventus as strictly a winter fragrance; it’s versatile enough for year-round wear. The only real downside is its longevity. Unfortunately, I only get a few hours before it fades almost completely.

One of the best scents ever created. Blended very smoothly. I own it so I know what I’m about to say. Even though there are some spices in there they don’t pop up at all. This smells fresh and it’s perfect for high heat. I get a solid 8 to 10 hours longevity and 6 to 8 hours projection on me and even on clothes. Now let’s get to the comparison between Dior sauvage elixir. Sauvage elixir is very spicy. Especially the licorice. Absolu is fresh and they don’t smell the same at all. I bet many haven’t worn it fully a day to know the differences. And absolu is better that Dior sauvage elixir. My batch is Lot: F001391.

Perfect fragrance this is the ultimate version of the Aventus DNA full bodied rich substantial radiant and projecting.10/10 but don't buy it for more than £250 as its 75ml not 100ml and it's not one you'll want to waste or spritz everyday.Mancera Cedrat Boise Intense is just as good in a similar vein not a clone at all but an equal. The 3 best of this type of scent are this Creed Absolu Aventus,Mancera Cedrat Boise Intense and Nishane Hacivat.1 and 2 are tied for me haven't smelled Hacivat but heard it's brilliant but maybe too oakmoss heavy.Also less nuanced than the other two as it has no spice.

I’ll forever prefer the 2023 batch to the new one, it’s much more complex and has an almost Christmas feel to it. I understand the new batches are meant to be closer in line with Aventus for consistency’s sake, but this is too good of a batch to just throw out. It lasts forever, it’s deep and woodsy but soft and charismatic. I’ve gotten way too many compliments wearing this and I really want to rock it as a signature scent, but the price and rarity of this batch is what’s stopping me. The 2025 batch is too safe and boring to my taste. Overall a 10/10, a signature worthy masterpiece.

I mean, what is there to say, all that years Aventus was sitting on the Throne..and there was some excelent scents that has very high ambitions to get the throne and crown...but what house of Creed did?...they just made even better Aventus and put the Throne with him so high that its almost imposible to reach there ........Smell of Gods, absolutely masterpiece, beast projection, beast sillage, ...dark fruits, fresh fruits with something you cannot describe, Men love it, Women go absolutely crazy for it ....CREED JUST DID IT AGAIN and even better...bravooo

Picked up a full bottle today. Absolutely amazing, as someone who doesn't give a shit about controversies and drama, from an objective standpoint this is really really good stuff. The bright juicy opening and spicy creamy dry-down are like two completely different fragrances, both stunning in their own right yet one leads into the other smoothly. The performance is excellent with great projection and longevity, what else is there to say? Yeah, it's way too expensive but if you can afford it responsibly and love it then I'd say it is worth it.

A truly gorgeous fragrance and surprisingly versatile as well. It stays hot even until mid-ish October where I live and so I've had several chances to try many new fresh fragrances this past summer. The performance is solid on my skin and my clothes, I get a good 3-5 hours depending on what I'm doing and where I'm going. I enjoy the combined elements of darkness, freshness, light sweetness, and patchouli. I didn't expect this fragrance to smell as mature as it did, and it is my most complimented fragrance of this summer :)

If this smells like literal shit chances are you probably wipe your ass with leaves and/also litter. If the jeets (or whatever) find this repulsive im buying this ASAP. Imagine using ai to make a post saying how this smells like shit from an ass (absurdly frequent double hyphens gave it away in your Kilian review).... Who would do that lol? But seriously I smelt the 75ml and the OG and I really wanted to shit on both, but this juice in particular talked some sense into me. Will be getting 100ml tho

I bought Creed Aventus Absolu last week, and my expectations were quite high. While the scent itself is pleasant and well crafted...I was ultimately disappointed with its performance. The projection and longevity did not meet the standards I associate with the Aventus line. In comparison, the original Aventus still stands superior in both impact and overall experience. Aventus Absolu may appeal to those who enjoy a slightly refined variation, but for me, the original remains unmatched.

I don't have a bunch of baggage around the Aventus DNA, it's popularity, it being a b-dropper vs. a p-dropper, how it has been changed for the worse, or how Absolu '23 smells like Sauvage Elixir. All I know is I bought it, it smells pretty fuckin'good, and since I've had it I've reached for it a full 50% of the time I'm gonna spray something on. So it gets that "what I grab" vote. It strikes a nice balance between being refreshing and substantive. Works for me. 9.25/10

Opens with a beautiful juicy pineapple supported by citrus. As it settles cardamom and citron shine through. Dries down woody and very slightly sweet, but still keeping the freshness around. Deeper and darker than the original. Longer lasting too. Amazing dna, has been copied a million times over for a reason. This scent trades the summery freshness for a bit of depth to make this more rounded. It’s a great light scent that can be worn year round.

Smells kinda like Sauvage Elixir (25%) x Creed Aventus (75%) to my nose. Hyper masculine. The spice nods to some old school men’s fragrances, but overall it is completely modern and contemporary smelling. Good performance (6-8 hrs off skin, moderate to strong projection for at least 3-4 hrs) Versatile but would avoid in super hot weather Pricey but isn’t everything good these days. I absolutely love it. I would rate this a 9 out of 10

Great scent, smells a touch better than Sauvage Elixir to me but SE performance is insane totally incomparable to this and that does swing the vote for me. Redundant to own both definitely This at discounters is roughly $300 for 75ml and you can get Sauvage Elixir 60ml for around $120. Worth the extra $180 for less performance? Still love this can't hate on it. I own both SE and Armaf's Precieux so can't make room for this.

Modern, versatile, fresh, sweet - I love this stuff. Finally a good smelling Creed fragrance that performs! Definitely worth it if you find it discounted somewhere. Definitely a compliment getter. I understand the nuanced similarities to Dior Sauvage Elixir but would not compare the two - they are two very different fragrances with different purposes. This is bottle worthy in my opinion (if you can find it discounted).

This is literally Aventus and Sauvage Elixir mixed together. Depending how you feel about those fragrances will determine how you feel about this one. Honestly it’s amazing, I knew what to expect when I sprayed it but I was impressed. This is a highly addictive fragrance if you enjoy the two DNAs, my favorite creed fragrance! I hope it’s truly not a limited edition or I will have to stock up.

It was always creeds intention to make this release permanently available. Never again will I fall for any 'limited edition' marketing nonsense. Although, I'm glad I got it when I did as it is actually more expensive now! Amazing fragrance by the house, a refined, matured and darker interpretation of the original. Aventus will forever be the greatest DNA you can lay your nose on in perfumery.

A darker much sweeter Aventus with a tolerable smokey facet to it. I like it so far. Update: I have grown to love this joint. It's the perfect hybrid of fresh and dark with a little gourmand twist. Perfect for special occasions in the chilly weather. I can't wait to layer this in the winter ❄️ Further update: Actually you know what, layer this with Baccarat Rouge EDP and enjoy a better take.

This is a somewhat juicier, slightly stronger version of the original. I think it's well worth the money, if you're a fan of Creed in general and a fan of the Aventus DNA in particular; it's available sporadically at the usual discount sites. Note: reviews below notwithstanding, this fragrance bears no olfactory semblance to Sauvage Elixir; they are completely different scent profiles.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a 10/10 scent. However, the price is absolutely asinine. Especially when dua has a clone that is 95% the same scent, with BETTER performance. The only detectable difference is in the woody molecule they use in the dua. That is only detectable up close, in the deep dry down. Save your money and grab the dua. (No I do not work for, nor do I shill for dua.)

so sexy. great opening, and in my opinion is smoother than the original aventus (of which i also own). definitely more suitable for colder weather but still versatile with that aventus dna which we all love. the price point is definitely not justifiable whatsoever, but if youre living comfortably, then i would say this fragrance would be a privilege for you to enjoy.

Yeah it's expensive but if you are a big pimp like me it's worth it. Best fragrance I have, you can wear it for any occasion, even a funeral. May not be the easiest thing to get your hands on but holyyyy. It is similar to regular Aventus but has a different tone of spice in it. It is simply the darker version. I really like this fragrance, gatekeep gatekeep.

Very elegant and sophisticated fragrance. I wouldn't say it's better than OG Aventus, but it's probably complimentary. What I mean is that while Aventus shines in more common situations, Absolu takes the lead in "special situations"... for example a romantic rendez vous. It's a great scent and although very expensive, it's an undeniable buy if one can.

Excellent ... But the price ... forget about it, stop paying for the brand name and marketing stuff, you have other alternatives at 40 euros and a secret one directly from the factory (I won't divulge the country name, lol, is turkey) for 10 euros, lasts 10 hours and smells identical to this. Now you know how little they cost to make

Got my nose on this today for the first time. And it’s an absolute banger. Obviously the Creed line is way overpriced, I don’t think any fragrance should cost that much. But... if you can get this at a good discount it’s by far my favorite from the line, and there is some great stuff in the line, but this is my personal favorite.

The scent is top tier: smokier version of Aventus with a little more spice. Longevity is elite as well, whoever says it’s not, I don’t see how that’s possible. I get almost 12 hrs within my scent bubble of being able to catch whiffs from spraying it on my neck. Only 3 sprays as well. 1 to either side of the neck, one to the chest
