Acqua Fiorentina The Encore

Aah, Acqua Fiorentina, the much more bougie distant cousin of Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana.. This is pretty much as refined and gorgeous you can get with a fresh summer fragrance. Since the price is quite up there though, it took me until this spring to actually buy a bottle for myself. In my humble opinion is was worth every cent.. I do agree with people who say it has a resemblance with Light Blue. However, I still think it's a softer, more luxurious and well rounded composition than Light Blue. I've had a few bottle of LB over the years and I have to say Acqua Fiorentina has a less bitter opening and more of a luxurious slightly marine note to it, I think. It's simply a richer fragrance. That's what I smell at least. The dry down is pleasantly woody with citrus and plum. For a fragrance of this type it's also very long lasting and on me I can still smell it 5-6 hours after spraying. It's a must smell for everyone who likes fresh scents citrus scents.

I tried this in store this morning and on first spray it had a fresh, almost vegetative scent, within about 30 minutes I was getting a ‘fizzy’ vibe and now, around two hours later it is beautifully citrusy fresh. I’ve loved all stages but the dry down is my favourite. This has the same delicious fresh water style scent as Silver Mountain Water, so if you like that one you would probably enjoy this too. It’s full bottle worthy to me. Edit: Full bottle purchased 1 May 24 and I still love this :)

I bought this for my wife and every time she wears it I smile. Very feminine, and youthful in a good, fresh way. It’s not complicated or thought provoking, it’s just attractive and pleasant. A great easy summertime fragrance that will make any woman smell beautiful. Your man will probably love this on you.

This perfume is like a breathe of fruity fresh watery air in a bottle. It makes me smile every time I get a whiff of it. It’s a very relaxing scent. Perfect for the spring/summer. However the lasting power is an abomination. Not worth the price at all. The scent completely fade within an hour or less.

Gave this one to my wife and she loved it, fruity without being too sweet, very feminine and youthful. Performance is average, longevity is a little short but silage is on point, not too overwhelming but strong enough so you can feel it from a distance.

Reminds me of Atelier Cologne Clementine California. Creed Acqua Fiorentina is a bit more mellow sweet and floral. AC CC is a bit more simple and citrusy with a sharper opening. Both smells heavenly! One of my favorites of all times.

I tried it and it is very enjoyable. Not so chic, but I cannot stop to snif my arm. It doesn’t smell sweet. It is a kind of green fruit and a little bit flowers fragrance. I liked it very much. But, it is very expensive :(

Very soft elegant perfume. Beautiful 😍

Fresh sweet fruits and candied citrus. Lightly floral but the fruit bowl is the centrepiece and it so darn pretty. It’s bright and energising with absolutely no sharp or bitter notes. D&G Light Blue is vaguely reminiscent but where that was harsh and piercing, this is mellow and classy. Acqua Fiorentina is delicious, a little expensive, but agree it’s a must have if you love sweet fresh scents!

I tried it at a store and sprayed 2-3 times on my wrist. First 30 minutes it smelled like a gentle flower. Well balanced, sophisticated. Skin scent. A safe choice for everyday wear. Nothing ground breaking, but quality perfume. It disappeared within an hour and for this price point I’d expect a longer longevity of a perfume.

total citrus, if sweet citrus scents are your thing, this is beautiful

I wanted to like this, but to me, it just smells like a bathroom deodorizer. Sending this back asap.

my first creed perfume in my collection ever & actually the one of the first that i ever smelled along with carmina. this one heree is SO GOOD i absolutely loved carmina and i honestly only planned on smelling and purchasing that one but and pretty much had my mind made up and wasn’t really planning on smellling anything else. that was UNTIL the guy helping me came up to me with two cards one being Acqua fiorentina and the other being fragaria ( another gem) and i absolutely loved this and immediately asked him to spray my arm so I could see how it performed on skin as well as carmina. this thing has longevityyyyy like its honestly crazy because I don’t come across a perfume often that stays on my skin for 9hours + granted it was faint around 7 hours but still very detectable on my clothes. I battled between getting this and carmina for about 2 days because i enjoyed both but something about this one just made my heart throb just a little more (maybe because we’re in the dead of summer idk) but i went ahead and decided to get this one as my first creed perfume because i don’t see anyone talk about this or hardly any reviews on tiktok nor youtube which makes me appreciate it more because clearly a lot of people don’t care for it or it’s just an underrated gem. i also see others say this reminds them of light blue and erm... like i see it but no. this is juicy slightly aquatic and is more forward on the fruits if anything id say this is light blue if they went a more fruity aquatic way than sharp citrusy. overall im giving this gem 100/10 for the rating because yes😍. also i layered this with musk 12 by kayali + mfk kurky = chefs freaking kissssssss follow my instagram / tiktok for daily niche scent combos and good vibes :) @parfumpresident

The design of the bottle gave me a mature vibe but it's actually pretty youthful and bright. Someone described it as fresh fruit in water and that's the experience I had; I get a lot of bergamot with apple, roses and I also smell watermelon. It smells like a lemon water with rose petals and some watermelon slices to me, very fresh and summery. I like it but don't love it and wish the performance was better. Others will definitely smell you IF you overspray, but it does not last long on the skin.

Breathtaking, fresh and naturalistic. This fragrance is fresh, but not harsh – its smells like natural flowers to me. None of the dupes are similar in my opinion. It is a perfume that you can wear anywhere; you can dress it up or down. I was at David Yurman and saw a natural emerald ring set in Platinum and the emerald was just indescribably gorgeous, I was staring at it just overwhelmed with its beauty. I get the same feeling with this scent!

My nose doesn’t like sandalwood or rose, but for some reason I really like this fragrance. I agree with others this is a more expensive smelling, rounder, softer, sweeter version of a light blue type of fragrance. It has a very ripe plum quality to it as well. It reminds me a lot of the new light blue 2023 flanker summer vibes. It is light and doesn’t offend at all. I find it lasts about 6 hours on me.

This smells so good on my wife. It’s hard to explain. Elegant and soft. It’s a mature smell. In my opinion it is not for teenage girls. This is for classy, established women. Perfect for date night. Projects at dinner, fades a little for after dinner walk and sitting together on the beach, alluring and intoxicating for the “intimate ending” to a fun night.

So refreshing fruits are excellent in this perfume, especially the greengage and apple, but few flowers make it gentler, young scent, supper attractive, and fresh.

It’ has a bitter seasoning/herb nore that makes it smell like the perfume was sprayed after you walking into the kitchen while someone was cooking with seasoning
