Aventus Cologne

So I'll be honest; I didn't really have a big interest in this fragrance until Eros Energy came out. I had smelled Aventus Cologne before and thought it was nice, but Absolu Aventus is really my favorite of the line. When Eros Energy came out and people started comparing it to Aventus Cologne I took notice, mostly because Eros Energy is one of my favorite releases of the year. So with that in mind, I grabbed a sample the last time I was at my local high-end department store. Now it's time to see if the rumors are true. Let's get into it; Scent: The opening is citrusy, musky, and fresh spicy. The primary notes I get are mandarin orange, musk, ginger, and spearmint. The strongest of the notes are the mandarin orange and musk. The mandarin orange is juicy, tart, and has a photo-realistic quality to it that makes it smell like fresh squeezed orange juice. The musk is the usual fresh, clean, and powdery offering, but it's obvious the musk in this fragrance is of much higher quality than what you find in designer fragrances. This is followed by the ginger and spearmint. The ginger adds a subtle fresh spiciness to the opening that helps balance out the strong citrus. Lastly, the spearmint is cool, refreshing, and green; it reminds me of freshly picked spearmint from a garden. The ozonic note is also lightly detectable as a fresh and airy accord. The dry down is citrusy, woody, and musky. The primary notes I get are mandarin orange, musk, birch, and spearmint. The strongest of the notes is the mandarin orange and birch. The mandarin orange carries the same accord from the opening, while the birch has opened up with a strong woody and slightly green nuance. This is followed by the musk and spearmint. The musk is still powdery and clean like it was in the opening, and the spearmint still has that cool and icy accord, albeit a bit more subdued than it was in the opening. The bergamot is also noticeable in the dry down as a citrusy accord along with the orange, and the tonka is slightly noticeable as well with a bit of it's signature powdery sweetness in the background. Performance: Initial projection is fairly strong and radiates about 4-6 feet. Sillage is moderate with a noticeable but not heavy scent trail. After a few hours the performance was unchanged; projection was still about 4-6 feet and the scent trail was still noticeable. At the 7 hour mark the projection had died down to within arms length but there was still a noticeable scent trail being left. At the 10 hour mark the projection was gone but there was still a light scent trail. The fragrance became a skin scent shortly thereafter. When to wear: This is a fresher take on Aventus, so it works perfectly in the spring or summer. However, I feel it still has the same versatility as Aventus and can work all year round, day or night. As for occasion, this fragrance would be appropriate for pretty much anything; just like Aventus. Casual, formal, date night, at the office, you'll smell great. Blind buy: If you like the original Aventus DNA this is a safe blind buy for you; simple as that. Final verdict: So the big question here is "does it smell like Aventus Cologne?". The answer is yes, they absolutely do; but with a couple of noticeable differences. Namely, Aventus Cologne is greener while Eros Energy is sweeter. Aventus Cologne has the spearmint and birch notes that add a hefty dose of greenery to the fragrance, while Eros Energy focuses more on lemon and has bits of that signature sweetness that the Eros line is known for. Other than that they are definitely in the same vein. Compared to the rest of the Aventus line, I would put this in third behind Aventus in second and Absolu Aventus in first. It's fine, but I get more enjoyment out of the other two. However, on it's own merit it's a wonderful fragrance. The scent profile is niche yet mass-appealing, the performance is respectable, and it has the same compliment factor that the rest of the Aventus line has. That being said, you still won't find me paying $465 for it. I'll just stick with my Eros Energy and CDNIMLEP. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 7/10 Sillage: 6/10

OK, coming from a person that used to hate Creed.... The best way I can personally describe this is; It's a refined, higher end, much stronger version of Channel Allure Homme Sport mixed with Aventus DNA, that is probably THE best way to describe it. And being that I did like the original Aventus a bit, but couldn't abide performance issues, and I did like CAHS for many years, so this combo kinda sits right there in the perfect sweet spot for me. - Is it groundbreaking? meh, that's really difficult, because with the combination of the 2, and it having very good projection and silage, I'd say yes, - Scent groundbreaking? possibly not. - Is it worth it? if you like those 2, then it is simply a no brainer - Redundant to either? to CAHS yes, to the OG Aventus, most definitely not, the 2 are quite different, and both versatile but both have their occasions. UPDATE: after 24 hours, I think it's redundant for the OG Aventus; after the dry down, it become the OG, but less the smoky part. - FB worthy? for me, yes, and after day, definitely a yes. - Blind Buy? no doubt about it, it's very hard not to like. Again, after 24 hrs, yes. - An addition to my stable, so far 100% and after 24hrs again yes. I'll try and update later, but it's non-linear to a degree after the dry down, and it feels like it's not going anywhere for a very long time, and that's after 2 sprays. UPDATE: after the dry down it become the OG Aventus and after the long-ish opening/drydown it turns into a very strong version of it. I have to say, that there are ZERO, yes ZERO performance issues here, this to me has silage, extreme projection and insane longevity, rendering the bottle extremely worth it. Initially I started with 2 sprays, and it was beyond a room filler, and I can not stop smelling it, which is rare for me, then when I came to go out in the evening, applied 3 more sprays. If I am honest, it was overkill, and it's now about 7 hours since the 2nd application and it is reeking off me as if I just applied it, this is truly a beast, I am very very impressed with it's performance, in fact I'm shocked, the 100ml bottle will last ages, I really really do hope there are no re-formulations that render this diluted. If only they could make Millesime with the same performance :/ I think this is THE best performing Creed. I purchased my bottle from Liberty London, as I didn't want to risk performance issues, and I trust Liberty London. £290 RRP for 100ml is probably for most people (it certainly is for me) at the higher end of the scale, but to be fair for the complete package it really is worth it, and it's more than likely that it can be bought much less with offers/sales/discounts, I think I paid £238 in Liberty London's Sale, and I'd gladly pay the full RRP if I had to, if I knew it was the same re-formulation, sadly I just checked on LL's website and they are out of stock of it. Conclusion: If you're a fan of the OG, or you fancy something with that vibe or Channel Allure Homme Sport, or somewhere along that line and want a beast of a freshie, then I do highly recommend this, and coming from someone that doesn't speak favourable about Creed with regards to price Vs performance, that is a massive compliment. I don't think anyone can go wrong with this release, and I think if the price point was lowered, it might dilute the nature of the product. After all, we as vain creatures of exclusivity would probably stick our nose up if it was cheap, sad but true! :) I do really hope this long winded review might be of some help, I know I'm not the best when it comes to painting pictures and landscapes of olfactory creativity, and certainly no where near what most of you lovely people can describe in a review :) Hope you all enjoy, and God bless :)

So I couldn't stop sniffing myself and had to turn around... Picked this up early summer after someone mentioned it was like "Aventus but fresher and longer-lasting." I'd started appreciating the Aventus thing, so figured why not check it out. First spray? Wasn't sure. But walking out of the store I kept catching whiffs off my wrist and... yeah, had to go back in. The opening hits different Ginger bomb right off the bat. There's this spearmint thing happening that's really nice with the bergamot - super fresh and actually wakes you up in the morning. Like genuinely gives you that little boost when you're dragging yourself to work. Few minutes in and you start getting the woody stuff. Vetiver and patchouli show up but it's not that hippie earthy mess you sometimes get. Stays clean somehow. There's this crisp quality running through everything (probably their musk work, Creed knows what they're doing there). When the birch comes in later it's way less smoky than regular Aventus. That freshness just keeps going. Performance is solid Getting a full day out of this - like 8 hours easy, still there when I'm leaving work. Projects really well first couple hours, then settles into something nice but not obnoxious. People notice but it's not gonna clear a room, you know? Honestly outperforms my newer Aventus bottles. Even the F-batches I grabbed recently don't last like this. Whatever they're doing consistency-wise, it's working better than what regular Aventus has been doing lately. Pretty much works everywhere Been wearing this all summer. Would probably work spring/fall too. Office, dates, just hanging around - handles it all. It's one of those scents that's hard to mess up with. Could probably overspray and still be fine. Gives off this clean, fresh vibe. Like that feeling when you walk into a nice hotel and everything just smells... right. VS regular Aventus Obviously related - can't miss that DNA. If you're into Aventus you'll probably dig this. Trade-off is losing that pineapple note everyone talks about, but what you get is this incredible freshness that's hard to beat. Perfect if you want the Aventus experience but cleaner and easier to wear. Bottom line: Aventus without the pineapple plus crazy freshness. That ginger/spearmint opening is perfect for mornings. Works everywhere, smells expensive, lasts all day. Want Aventus but fresher? Get this. -RobTheScent Honest takes. Big nose energy.

This is an incredibly pleasant scent. But I don't want to sell it short so ill elaborate; its more than just pleasant. AC is elegant, classy, powerful, sexy, masculine (not to deter any woman from wearing it, please do!), its great for hot weather and cold alike, but I think its more widely associated with warm weather due to the ginger and mandarin notes. The original Aventus is also classy and manly, but MORE POWERFUL and when I say powerful, I'm not talking about the strength of the scent, (it is there) but what I am speaking to, is more of the impression that it imparts. By comparison the OG is heavier on the woods and smoke, and even has vanilla where this one does not. I think the OG is by far more suited to cooler weather. Aventus Cologne is much lighter in that regard, and instead of a pineapple which I believe imparts something equally juicy, and dark, we have a citrus fruit which I believe gives you a much more prominent feeling of something juicy and bright. They are related for sure. I think if you like Aventus, you will like Aventus Cologne, but not necessarily the other way around? This is just speculation because it just depends on what you value. I do have both and love them separately for different reasons. I just reach for this one more as I do believe it is the more versatile pick. I find that i can dress this down too. Sometimes wearing the OG feels out of place, especially at places like the gym or grocery store. My recent batch of Aventus Cologne (my 4th bottle of this juice I think) F000468, is nuclear with regard to how long it lasts. I get about 10+ hours. This DNA is easy to go nose blind to the more you spray, but its not a complete kind of olfactory fatigue, this beauty is strong enough and elegant enough to give you gentle reminders continuously throughout the day, and IF it doesn't, others around you will! I got mine as a gift from my significant other, and she paid 189 USD shipped for a tester without cap. For this price, I cant believe it. Its 100% worth it, and this fragrance to me is another one of my FEW 10/10 fragrances based on scent, versatility, longevity, sillage, and compliments. Also, I feel incredibly confident with this on. GET YOU SOME!

god, i’ve been wearing this fragrance every spring and summer day since i was 16-17, and i can guarantee anyone reading this review that if you purchase this fragrance from an ACTUALLY AUTHORIZED seller, you will be able to get 12+ hours out of this fragrance. with fragrances hitting tiktok recently, fragrantica reviews have been absolutely flooded with tiktok kids who don’t even own the fragrance. first off, if that’s you and you’re reading this, welcome to the fragrance world. this addiction is really fun, but there is one thing they push on tiktok far too religiously: discount fragrances. i tried reading some reviews before writing mine and anyone saying this fragrance gets less than 12+ hours HAS A FAKE. its not a reformulation, they have a fake. ask them where they got their Creed Aventus Cologne and i guarantee you they will say some sort of fragrance discounter, which is an absolute shame because this is one of the greatest, most versatile warm weather fragrance ever, and far better than MOST of the Creed line. this fragrance isn’t aggressive, it works for teenagers, young adults, and even the older crowd (although if you’re 30+ it is time to just purchase Aventus). it smells unbelievably fresh, it smells beautiful in the air, the first spray is a fresh orange slice that dries down into a beautiful fresh musk/tonka/pink pepper/vetiver. if these notes are anything you love, get your nose on a real bottle of this urgently. i don’t regret spending the extra money i spent to get BEAST MODE performance. i swear, when i first bought this fragrance sometimes i couldn’t spray it past 3PM or it would last until the next day. purchase it, purchase it, purchase it. you WILL NOT regret grabbing this one;

They call Creed Aventus the King of Fragrance but I honestly think Creed Aventus Cologne is the true King. I first learned of the DNA through the clone Insurrection II Sport (amazing btw). It was a blind buy 3 years ago and almost ran through my bottle in a few months. Wore it actively in the gym and playing sports and it always got some type of good reaction from women and men. When I found it was a clone of Aventus cologne I had to try the original and it’s even more refined and elegant, which is to be expected. I’ve sampled it countless times over the years and had decants but finally saw a good price and pulled the trigger on a full bottle. This to me is a 10/10 scent, yes it doesn’t perform like OG Aventus but it’s not weak at all. People always noticed and would ask what I had on with the clone so I have no doubt they’ll be even more inclined with the original. Easy to wear, refined and unique DNA that I’ll always have and cherish in my collection. If you want to test longterm to see if you like the DNA try Insurrection II sport as it’s the closest to this DNA as it gets. (Have no idea why all the other “reminds me” are present as they’re more closer OG Creed Aventus). Update 9/18: Received probably the loudest unsolicited compliment from 2 girls wearing this and all I did was walk past them. Didn’t even realize they smelled me until I heard them yelling across the parking lot to tell me how good I smelled 😂. This to me is still King over the OG Aventus

This is a fantastic fragrance and worth the hype. It is basically OG Aventus for a younger crowd. It is hard to dislike if you are a teenager, retired or anywhere in between. Leans masculine but a woman could easily pull this one off. Aventus “Cologne” in name only as this actually an EDP and lasts and projects as well as many recent Aventus batches (or better). Very similar to Aventus but less pineapple (more citrus) and is fresher/cleaner/crisper smelling than Aventus as it doesn’t have that smokiness and woodiness on the drydown. I would have called this “Aventus Sport” which I believe would be a more accurate name to differentiate Aventus Cologne from Aventus. Current “F batch” bottlings are excellent. Better than most versions from the Blackrock years and arguably as good or better than the 2019 initial release bottlings. This is long lasting (6-8hrs) with medium projection. Totally office safe and can be worn for any occasion during all seasons. I wouldn’t wear it on freezing winter nights though. Just an excellent fragrance and well worth the ~$200/100ml from discounters. Don’t buy this at retail as the list pricing is idiotic. Review based on a 100ml “F batch” tester.

I’ve fallen in love with this fragrance. The crisp, sharp opening smells like citrus oils, muddled ginger, and clean musk. It is incredibly uplifting, and I can also immediately detect the musky woody undertones which are undeniably masculine. A clean sandalwood smoothes and protects this DNA from being too astringent, blended perfectly with a vetiver that gives classic gentleman vibes, but in the best way.. think Great Gatsby. The earthy base keeps this fragrance grounded and prevents it from feeling too playful. It’s not as serious as Aventus, but still kinda serious. Like a businessman having an afterwork martini. The only problem I have with this fragrance is that it does seem to be pretty fleeting after the first couple hours. Projection seems weak as well judging by the lack of compliments i’ve received while wearing this. I feel like people would love this if they could smell it. Is it still worth the price? To me it is; I love spraying this on too much to let that performance keep me from having it in my life. I love everything about it from the color of the bottle and the way it feels in my hand to the crisp invigorating juice that sprays out. Wear this one for you.

Aventus and Cologne are almost the same. It's redundant to own both. The Cologne is lighter, brighter, and fresher. I get tired of people saying Aventus is sexy, it's smoky, blah blah. There's nothing sexy about it. They're both strong citrus ambroxan bombs. That's what Aventus is. So, this one gives you more of that which makes it the best one in my opinion. It's not unique, but It's one of the safest, most versatile, mass appealing fragrances that exists in high quality. it's something you can reach for and wear at any moment, day/night, for any occasion all year round. Like school, office, gym, famly/friends house, etc and you want to smell amazing, and of high quality, but it's not the occasion for sweet, incense, boozy etc. I got a good deal on it and it's one of my most solid purchases. Versace Eros Energy was already very close to original Aventus, but this one is closer. FYI, I’ve had business meetings several days a week for the past five weeks. Everyday I wore a different fragrance and no one has ever said anything until I wore this. I was asked what I was wearing and they were really interested. Maybe that helps.

When I bought Aventus for the first time they gave me a sample of this as well but at the time I didn’t saw that it was Aventus cologne and I tried the sample first. It blew my mind..it was the best thing I have ever smelt. Then I sprayed the actual Aventus and I was a bit disappointed that didn’t smell the same and I thought it was some kind of batch variation. Nevertheless i fell in love with Aventus and it became my signature scent.Today I bought a full bottle of Aventus cologne and when I tried it it instantly reminded me that heavenly scent.I searched my old samples and I realized what happened back then. Now I have a new love!!! It’s basically Aventus with pineapple (there is pineapple in AC) and smokiness toned down. The mandarin and mint gives the zing the OG is missing. For me is the best fresh summer scent though I have to admit the OG is a little more versatile. The OG performs great on me and I am waiting to see how this will perform !!

I've never really been a fan of fresh fragrances because of two reasons. I always preferred long lasting fragrances that I'd be able to smell throughout the entire day, and fresh fragrances don't have the best track record in that regard... and also because I've never been interested in them since I thought they'd just be boring (and some are.) But after trying Imagination (and considering a full bottle.) I decided to give a few more fresh fragrances a try. This is the only other one to really impress me. I'm gonna keep it simple and not claim I can smell every note separately or tell a crazy long story about how this changed my life. All I gotta say is that when I sprayed this, it felt like I was spraying ice cold water that got turned into a fragrance. As the day went on, I kept getting whiffs every so often. It kind of reminds me of this old orange flavored water my mom used to get me. I think I'm going to make this my daily driver.

The most important thing I can say: It’s different enough from Aventus to justify having both The opening is bright and juicy, the mandarin and ginger really sing together. You also get that spearmint, and I love this part of the fragrance. It’s just so good. Initial projection and silage are quite strong. As you shift into the mid, the fruit pulls back and you start to get that birch. It’s not quite so smoky and Aventus, the cedar helps make it more woody. It will feel familiar, but not identical. Then in the base you get this really great, earthy musky dry down. You can still detect the birch, and a little tonka, but it’s mostly musk. I never found the patchouli, or the vetiver. No pickle-ish sandalwood either. I get about 6 hours from my F-coded batch. And considering I found a sealed bottle for under $200 from a reputable discounter, I think this has been an excellent pick up.

For me, this is the standout flanker of Creed Aventus. Its minty-green facet sparkles with refined freshness, layered over a cool fruitiness that feels like champagne with a crisp, icy twist. The brightness comes from ginger, mandarin, and pink pepper, giving it an energetic, modern lift without losing the elegance Aventus is known for. It’s clean, uplifting, and effortlessly put together. Out of all the Aventus versions, this is the one I enjoy wearing the most. In the summer it just sings—light, breezy, and magnetic. Fresh out of the shower, it feels invigorating and sharp in the best way, and at the beach, once the salt air clings to your skin, your hair is full of sand, and your shoulders are kissed by the sun, it radiates off you in the most intoxicating way imaginable. People notice it, they ask about it, and sometimes you can tell they wish they smelled like that too.

Creed Week Day 4: This is a very appealing scent. The Aventus DNA is already amazing as is, and this fragrance is not an exception. Compared to your regular Aventus, this one is fresher, and replaces the signature smoky pineapple with more citrus and musk, with a slight sharp hint on the top notes from the pepper and ginger. I feel like this is what Versace would make if they were told to recreate Aventus as a purely warm weather scent. Longevity could be better for all notes, musk becomes more prominent on drydown. Projection isn't the best either, but it's a slippery slope for warm weather scents. This is a solid 8.5/10. Could've been more if it performed just a bit better. It is one of three Creed fragrances that are competing for the spot in my collection. The two others will be reviewed later in the week.

this will become summer favorite this year, i cant believe many people slept on this cologne since the launch, when i first saw it i thought "oh no they made a eau de cologne version of the aventus, why do i need this fragance when i have the aventus and its clones" . then i decided to try on my skin. and god, its the cleaner, fresher, more versatile version of aventus with slightly less projection but same duration. i gave couple test sample strips to some of my female friends and they like this over the original aventus. this made me realize women likes men that wear light, clean, almost neutral scent fragances that enhances your natural manly smell. soon that i realized that i stopped looking for heavy beast mode scents. i like fresh and clean fragances anyway and aventus cologne checks all marks

Creed Aventus Cologne is a masterpiece of a fragrance. Yes, it is not a revolutionary or super unique fragrance. However, it is very well done and has that lovely Aventus DNA in the background. Aventus Cologne opens with a burst of bright orange and then settles down to a fresh, woody, and spicy scent with the classic Aventus DNA. This fragrance is perfect for any occasion. A very mass appealing fragrance that does not disappoint. However, I would never pay retail for this fragrance just because the performance is just average. But you can find it easily at discounters for a great price! I will always have this fragrance on hand as it is a sexy and masculine fragrance that is super versatile. Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 7/10 Smell: 10/10 Price: 7/10

I like the Allure homme + Aventus comparation, that is the easiest way to describe it. Aventus that is lightened up with some airy orange, IMO this is the best Creed`s fragrance you can get right now. Yes it does remind you of aventus, but the twist is great for spring/summer heat, it smells much better than aventus today. If this had monster performances, this would definitely be in every man`s collection i guarantee, but the performance is just okay, which is to be expected with Creed and with this scent profile, so if you have money and you don`t mind spraying 7-8 sprays, 2 times a day, fanatastic pick up. Similar to BDC, if you want to get it, don`t use it lightly, get something else instead

Lembra bastante o Aventus Tradicional, mas com um frescor mais evidente, para oque ele propõe, possui uma boa perfomance e se saírá bem tanto para dias quentes quanto para frios. Ele tem uma personalidade de um homem mais maduro e que impōe bastante seriedade, com seu frescor na abertura logo após envolvendo suas características amadeiradas e esfumaçadas, não recomendaria para aqueles que querem uma colônia predominantemente cítrica e sugiro que deem umas maneiradas nas borrifadas, porque corre o risco das notas amadeiradas e esfumaçadas carregarem em seu corpo e se tornar uma fragrância desagradável, mas com o uso consciente, será um rapaz que traz a sensação de bem cuidado e másculo kkkkkk.

The opening is so good. Very citrusy, fresh and modern, no one could not like it. It barely clings to this opening after it dries down, you can almost still smell it, but for the most part it starts to just smell like classic Aventus base: birch and oakmoss. It is not as smoky as classic Aventus, but its still pretty much the same DNA. I kinda wish the freshness of the opening lasted longer, or made its way into a more unique base. Because ultimately I see it serving the same role as Aventus, but just not as sharp and no pineapple. I will say classic aventus feels more wintery than most people would agree, while this is definitely more summery.

This is by far my favorite Creed fragrance it's slightly less fruity then the original Aventus. Aventus cologne opens up with a blast of a variation of citruses and a spicy ginger (One that smells like actual ginger and not he fizzy stuff in ingenious ginger from g&f). The real magic happens in the drydown its becomes slightly more earthy and woody. It smells like sipping a really lukewarm ginger lemon tea in the forest surrounded by birch trees and earth. I get 9-10 hours of longevity with moderate projection. It lasts WAY longer then people say. Smell 8,5/10 Price 6/10 Good on discounters but may not be worth the $$$ for some performance 8/10

This is so good. Really good. Way better than modern aventus. I have a 2019 bottle of this, the original form from the release year. 10h EASY. FOR A FRESHIE!?!? Scent? 10/10. The quintissential fresh fragrance. I now have to try and chase a backup bottle. If you are considering buying a new batch, the smell is just as incredible, but the performance is 4h ish rather than 10+. Some people harp on about performance not being important - to me it IS and this nails it for a fresh frag. No it is no Oud Maracuja or Ombre Nomade performance wise but they are synthetic messes and this is a gorgeous natural masterclass of perfumery. 10/10. Wow.

As someone who owns a full bottle of all the Aventus line, i can confidently say this is the most fresh and mass appealing. My second favourite after Absolu. Very refreshing and uplifting. In terms of the smell, i get a mandarin citrus/pink pepper with a pencil shavings type of smell in the background which i quite enjoy - probably the birch and cedar. It is quite linear but dries down to a pleasant musk and loses its sharpness after a few hours. Projects for about 5-6 hours on me before going to a skin scent for a few hours then disappearing completely. A very easy masculine dumb reach that is always fun to wear and inoffensive. 9/10

Bitter citrus, ginger and mandarin in the opening, smells like an expensive dad's aftershave. In the mids it starts to get sweeter.. And in the dry down you have a creamy fresh sandalwood, birch and tonka bean which smells very natural and high quality. Very luxurious smell, better than the original I'd say. My batch code is with the metal cap F000554, these are the new ones, and they last A LOT longer than the with the plastic cap, I don't understand the people who say there is no longevity with this fragrance. 10 sprays in, after 8 hours I got a compliment. Scent 10/10 Longevity 7/10 Projection 4/10

People who say this fragrance is done after 2 hours are going nose blind. Why do I say that? Because I go nose blind to it too. I sprayed this on at 7am before going to work. At the 2pm mark I walk to the break room and a co worker asks me what I'm wearing. I was stunned because I couldn't smell anything unless I buried my nose on the back of my hand.. Now as far as the scent this opens up like Aventus with mandarin orange. Once it get's to the mid it does resemble AHS. It's like AHS and Aventus had a love child. This has become one of my fave scents in my collection.

Aventus is definitely the best fresh fragrance that possible ever created it has everything. It is all weather but. I actually will give this as possibly the best out the 2 only reason I’m 88 degrees Aventus Smokey birch tar can be super overpowering. I’m wearing this today and you smell the birch but it’s not Smokey so it makes it better for heat. So this is actually more versatile. But I definitely love both but this definitely shine today been 9hrs and I personally don’t care for longevity but the birch in this still project but without the smoke the burnt smell.

This cologne is amazing, masculine yet fresh and simple. The opening and first hour are the best it has to offer though, I was lucky enough to have this gifted to me therefore paid $0. Yet so many other fragrances for the fraction of the price give you an identical dry down on skin and last way longer. However this does smell like money and make you feel rich so I can understand the hype. Simply poor performance though. Also weirdly enough Eros Energy dry down is genuinely identical to this dry down, if you don't believe me try it for yourself lol

I have worn this many times and from experience I just want to let everyone know that the fragrance continues to smell very good to other people a good bit longer than you think compared to what you can smell yourself at that point. Idk if that’s due to going noseblind on the zingy notes but it smells to you like it’s musky and woody after an hour, while other people are still smelling the whole thing. In my experience this continues to draw compliments from total strangers a couple arm lengths away for at least 3-4 hours after you applied.

I have avoided this and the OG because of all of the reviews stating that it doesn't last. I have tried all the dupes and have a backup bottle of Myth Mystery. I finally caved and grabbed a 5ml of this. Much to my surprise, it is nuclear. I ran 4 sprays and my wife complained that it was too strong. I like the pineapple notes in Absolu more, but this is lighter and fresher. I got a good 8 hours of 6' projection from this. I plan to purchase a bottle when I see one for a good price. 9/10 I guess that I will be trying the OG next.

This is my go-to summer niche. I get about 7 hours of performance, which is way more than the 4ish I usually got from Erolfa, VIW, Neroli Sauvage, and Milliseme Imperial and most other summer niches. Opening is very Aventus, the mid and dry lose the smoke and dials down the pepper. It gets quite a few compliments. The comparison to Chanel AHS is good, though I find AHS smells a little dated to me. A rebuy for certain. I think this will be what I smell like in summer for the foreseeable future.

I love this stuff, feels like aventus more smooth brother that hangs out with everyone. If you want something significantly cheaper the dry down of Versace energy is close but not quite the same. This is lighter and more airy than regular aventus but for people that are super sensitive to ambroxan this is a projection monster 3-4 sprays 6 inches away and you’ll be good for 6-7 hours. Works with a suit, shirt and slacks, or a T-shirt and jeans. Legit a GADA GOAT 9.8/10 for me

Phenomenal mass appealing fragrance. Beautifully blended citrus and fresh opening with a smooth woody and masculine dry down. Great for all occasions. Is it better than OG Aventus? I think so, but that is only because the pungent wood note turns me off a little in OG Aventus. Aventus Cologne has (almost) the same opening as the OG but turns down the woodiness x4. Pretty loud in the first 4-5 hours, then transitions to an arms length. Gets me around 6-7 hours.

Let’s be honest... As time went on, that crown from the original Aventus started to slip just a little. Too many copycats, too many loud boardrooms smelling like pineapple and patchouli. Aventus Cologne is the younger, smoother, more self-aware brother who walks in wearing sneakers with his tailored suit and somehow pulls it off. It’s an unbeatable fragrance for when you want an easy reach without that harsh ass opening that the original Aventus has. 10/10.

This might be the best fragrance in my collection. The citrusy Aventus DNA is here, but smoother and brighter. The orange and ginger notes really shine and takes away the heavy pepper vibe. It feels like Aventus’ younger brother, full of energy and excitement. Perfect for summer and absolutely signature scent worthy. Performance is lighter, but with 7 to 10 sprays it holds up. Pricey, yes, but worth it for me. Rating: 9.3/10

Greatest scent ever created. But there is a batch variation on the cologne as well..the newer F batches are amazing. The first one aren't bad but it's like something is missing for the ''magic''. Have 3 bottles, all different batches and I get from all of them 10h+ longevity. Great compliment getter and amazing fresh and clean vibe to it. Definetely get it if you want a no-brainer I smell good type of fragnance.

I have a brand new bottle and it always brings a smile to my face when I wear this. The way the tweaked version of Aventus plays its part as that mandarin note floats around it is truly a beautiful thing. This is a great fragrance that performs well all day. I hate how underappreciated this is. This is an incredible creation. I'd like to add this smells nothing like vintage AHS let alone the current formulation.

Creed Aventus Cologne in my opinion is the best flanker out of the Aventus line its fresh, versatile, sophisticated, the longevity and projection actually is pretty good I was expecting it to be moderate but it exceeded my expectations, I got about 6 hours of projection and 12 hours on skin and clothing. For me its the best professional summer cologne you can buy if you have a good budget.

One of my favorite niche fragrances, it takes the already established DNA of Aventus and gives it a splash of citrus. A spirited scent if I have ever smelled one, it is as bright as it is sharp. The scent tends to loudly linger throughout my whole day, it makes me feel as if I splashed fresh water onto my freshly shaven face, truly a scent meant for the high heat. 10/10

I am a huge fan of the Aventus DNA, I have alot of them and will never talk bad about what is really good with good quality and performance. Unfortunately I tend to like this over the original but it lacks so much in the performance department. I understand its a Cologne not Edp or edt at least but this barely stays for 3-4 hours. I just wish it had a good performance

Love this fragrance. Very manly, perfect for a dude who's confident and carries himself well. I also don't get the longevity complaints personally. Maybe I just got a good batch, but 4 sprays lasts a solid 6 or 7 hours on me. Overall it's one of the few fragrances that I'd be willing to buy again once my bottle runs out. Easy 10/10. I'd swim in the stuff if I could.

Just got this after the og and gotta say way better. Perfect summer staple. Got rid of horrible smoke that I didn't like on the og. Seems to love the heat. Initial test in cool weather didn't last 30 mins. In the heat different beast. Decent longevity better than the og for me at least. Perfect for me 48yo during summer months. Forget the o.g this is the one

It is a solid fragrance as a signature scent. Still have the creed DNA as the other ones in the line. The smell is not very unique and there are definitely similar ones on the market. Projection and sillage also not great. I get around 4-5 hours max and it becomes a skin scent then. Do not buy unless you really love the house of creed

Not sure why people say this is only a summer fragrance, this can easily be worn all year long and has the same versatility as a blue designer like YSL Y or BDC. I tried this on the one hand and BDC parfum (which people say can be worn in winter due to its depth) on the other, and they have the same depth in the woods in the drydown.

My favorite fragrance of all time, sure longevity aint the best. But not every fragrances needs to have nuclear radiating projection and outrages performance. Its a clean masculine fresh scent and its THE fragrance for me and i will always have this in my collection. Finally found my signature scent.

Awesome flawless freshie 10/10 , i find montblanc explorer very similar though for 1/8 the price.... aventus cologne dry down is a little more citrucy, also is like 20% stronger both on sillage and projection which is no much tbh. update: aventus cologne has miles more staying power than explorer

This is the most amazing summer hammer. The only and biggest problem with it is longevity. If this had better longevity I would buy 10 bottles and die with it. Comparison with CDNIM is ridiculous. Yes there is something similar in them but comparing a GT 63 AMG with Golf GTI is not appropriate.

Halfway through the bottle I realized that there won’t be a fragrance that would replace the charm I get from it. With its sharp, fresh, citrusy notes! I could only wish for it to last a bit longer on the skin. Surprisingly, I could still smell it on a hoodie I sprayed it on half a year ago!

My brother visited me today and we took a walk to the seaside. I didn't smell the sea, but I caught whiffs of the Aventus Cologne he was wearing and it was lovely. Citrusy and also a kind of manly, maybe smoky undertone? It felt smooth and high-quality, like Chanel, but different.

Really nice fresh natural smelling mandarin opening. Dries down to a clean airy musk with a slight hint of sweetness now and again which works well. Don’t really get the Allure Homme comparisons but each to their own. This has shot to the top of my most used summer scent list.

One of my favorite musk fragrances ever. Light, airy, wearable. Performance of the fruits in this fragrance is quite bad although natural and beautiful. The musk in my batch performs for around 6-8 hours. I don’t see myself falling out of love with this one anytime soon.
