Citrus Bigarade

Man that opening is to die for, bright lemon, mandarin and ginger, with a petitgrain and pepper spice to compliment it. Vey refreshing, and it dries down into a very pleasant herby musk. Definitely overpriced for what you get, but you cannot deny if you like freshies with scent profile that's not really typical, it might be worth the price tag. I get a solid 6-7 hours, but the projection is more intimate; it's more of a scent bubble. Edit: I've tried a few from this line (zest, neroli etc..) and IMO CB is the best one so far.

In my opinion, Citrus Bigarade is a wonderfully refined, clean, and understated fragrance that’s seriously underrated. Every component blends together seamlessly, creating a perfectly balanced composition without any unnecessary embellishments.

This citrus forward presentation by Creed is good but nothing to write home about. The fragrance starts off with a bitter citrus kick that lasts for about 1.5/2 hrs on my skin before the spicier elements start to predominate the fragrance. The middle has a spice element that mingles rather well with the fading citrus to give it a nice little tangy kick that usually lasts for a good 2 hrs on my skin. The dry down has a nice minty ginger with subtle vetiver and faint citrus accords that make it my favourite part of the fragrance. This goes on for 3 - 4 hrs giving the fragrance a total of 8-ish hrs. Price: As usual Creed is asking for a steep sum. At $440/50ml it is rather costly. Edit: It is actually $440/100ml Longevity (7.5/10): It has pretty good longevity on my skin, especially seeing the fragrance is citrus forward. I think this can owe it's longevity to the spicer elements, whereas if this was strictly a citrus scent or an even more citrus forward scent like its close relative (Zeste Mandarine), it would be lacking. Projection (7/10): Again, as mentioned above, if this did not contain its spicy elements, I don't think this would project as well. With that in mind it does have pretty decent projection for a good 3 - 4 hrs before settling into a more intimate scent. Sillage (7/10): It is not a trail monster by any means, but it does leave a beautiful scent trail of roughly 3 - 4 ft for a solid 3 - 4 hrs. Scent: 6.5/10): Even though it has a pleasant smell from start to finish, I feel like this scent needs to be above and beyond for what they're asking. I don't think I would buy a full bottle of it now per se but I wouldn't rule out a future purchase either. It's good but not $440 good. I enjoyed this scent, and I think you would too with application in warmer weather. With that being said, I feel that the added spicy elements are a nice addition to the citrus, but it is not mind blowing, especially as stated earlier with a price tag of $440 you sort of expect the fragrance to go beyond the ordinary. Creed did a better job here than with Zeste Mandarine in my opinion, but I still feel it is lacking that special "Creed" feel.

Very realistic lemon smell but it doesn't project or last long. The vetiver is high quality so I can say that I really enjoyed the smell and if I had unlimited money might buy this. You can smell the quality of the ingredients. However, at this price point, I think you can expect it to last longer than it does. I received a sample of this from the Paris shop. Creed has other fresh fragrances that offer better performance.

It's essentially a lobotomized version of Selection Verte with all of that fragrance's nuance and personality sanded away. Longevity is atrocious; I might get an hour or two out of it on a good day before it fades away to a mildly pleasant skin scent...but even that is very short-lived. I've read reviews that describe it, variously, as Hall's cough candy, lemon drops, or cheap lemon cake flavouring; all are correct.

No one talks about this and i wonder why. It smells like natural lemon supported by a subtle fresh and clean vetiver and mint. For people who are into simple citrus and clean scents that just wants to smell clean, and not like a typical fragrance. And by natural, i mean truly natural smelling because this doesn't smell like it has the generic supporting accords like musk and cheap vetiver that is heavily used in clean scents. This is clean and subtle citrus from beginning to end. Boring? Yes, it has no depth to it, acts as a molecule scent you could say. Just gives a clean aroma around you that doesn't smell like a perfume, and no one around you will think you wear a pefume. Just giving the impression that you have good hygiene. Take it for what it is based on what i explained, and this could very well be your signature scent during the hot summer. If you've tried Acqua Viva by Profumum Roma that has that clear citrus clean and nothing more, this has that type of DNA.
