Love in White for Summer

I am so glad I got this. Its fresh and sharp.. a great summer scent. At first spritz it has a cologne like quality which I think is the lime but that quickly gives way to the magnolia and rose. I can really smell the Iris in this and the apple. Very pretty mix that on paper is everything I shouldnt like. It lasts a long time on skin (even longer on clothes) and after a hour the scent transforms into a very romantic, bright creamy scent. Gorgeous!!! The ceder really grounds this and brings some weight and earthyness to it. Zero % aquatic which I love. Not an evening scent but perfect for hot Spring/Summer days. Appropriate for all day-time occasions. Unisex but leaning towards the feminie side. I love it!!

It’s good quality freshness. So it’s worth the price for me. Doesn’t cause a headache or bother my nose. Not a hint of sharpness, yet so clean while lasting 7-8 hours on my skin, which is hard to get for fresh scents. Only two sprays needed. The original’s opening is more for spring, unique, green and just as good but this one is more versatile as I can wear it for both spring and summer. Honestly it’s good in colder weather too because of the lack of sharpness. Great buy!

Okay! Wow! So at first I just thought it was a bit of a let-down because of the rice notes, perhaps. Then, when I sniffed it again, my opinion of this scent completely changed! Maybe it was because of the lovely Iris note. What's more, you get compliments all day with this, especially from men. It's quite a crowd-pleasing scent, overall! And, it's gone into my top 10 for life ranking at number 6!

I'd never tried the original so I'm unable to compare, however as a stand alone fragrance this one is beautiful, I even somehow get a bit of sweetness throughout the fresh stage, not sure where it's from I've not intentionally tested sweet magnolia before so not sure if it's actually sweet. Either way just stunning and a perfect all year and all occasion scent for women of all ages

What a shame. Love In White For Summer was my wedding perfume in 2021 and my signature scent. To say I love this fragrance is an understatement, but recently purchased a third bottle and it’s awful. It smells like celery! What happened? What is going on with Creed these days? They changed the pretty white cap to a silver men’s cap too..

Just like the person below this needs to be permanent creed fragrance not seasonal! I actually prefer this one opposed to the original Love in White. Love in White Summer is such a beautiful fragrance. It’s light but very present, it’s fresh, soft an luxurious. It’s definitely worth getting your nose on!

My husband goes crazy for this fragrance! Such a fresh and bright summer scent. I love everything about it and prefer this one to the original.

This smells so much like the original Love in White but it is different. This is like a facial essence type lotion/moisturizer while Love in White is unscented body cream. Love in White Summer is fresher. The soft fruity notes really hone in on the facial lotion smell. It feels thinner and more transparent. The green note is a lot less bitter. It smells cool and refreshing on the skin. The original Love in White smells warm, thick and almost powdery in comparison. It reminds me of the difference between Cartier Baiser Vole Edp versus the Edt. The Edt is thinner and smells like lotion. The Edp is thicker, creamy and powdery. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the Love in White Summer. The original just wasn’t quite a love for me. The green note could be a bit too strong and the cream/powder rice was a little too thick. They both hit the spot for a lotion/grooming product smell. I just feel that Love in White Summer is full bottle worthy for me.

Love in White for Summer is fresher, lighter, sunnier, more refreshing & airy Love in White. Clean & gentle magnolia, jasmine rice, juicy bergamot & crispy green apple is the perfect combination of floral beauty and sheer freshness. What else could I say? I ́m afraid there ́s nothing more to say. If you like Love in White, you ́ll probably like this one. It has got almost the same composition /the same notes/, it performs the same way, this "summer edition" is just lighter. That ́s all, folks.

The sales associate at Neimans claimed “totally different than the original”...not hardly. BUT as reviews demonstrate, there are tweaks that may make this preferable for some. Agree it’s still lovely but I loveee the creaminess of the original, which is a great match for my chemistry. I wore a spray on each arm—summer was gone in 30 min on me :( I’ll stick with the original and spring flowers for something lighter. But it’s definitely a nice scent that’s a close sibling of the original.

Just from sniffing it off the cap, I was already impressed. Although I feel like it's not "me", It's unlike most scents I've smelled before; clean, sparkling, with crisp green apple and the magnolia is so lovely. The rice note adds a nice little twist. This could make for a unique signature scent based on the opening alone. But as it dries down, it gets more familiar, turning into a smooth, creamy floral. That said, the iris in the drydown keeps it from feeling too generic.

13/05/18: I love the oriiginal one and I really want to smell it. Is it launched? EDIT(22/05/18): Tried it today and I would not recommend anyone who already has the original one to buy it as they smell literally the same. This is just the original scent diluted with 50% water and that's it. Nothing different and special. I personally prefer the original one but people who can't stand the freshness and cleaness (created by the rice) of the original can try this.

Admit it or not, this is fancy. Like fancy shampoo smell. It is not overly complex, but it is really well done. It’s feminine, fresh, pleasant, a little creamy because of the rice notes. Lasts on clothes. Whether it’s worth the price tag or not, you decide.

Very pretty and likeable, and actually one of the rare fragrances I find wearable in really high temperatures. That being said, it lacks any sort of uniqueness. For this price point, I want a fragrance that will stand out. This just smells pretty, nice... proper. If it was cheaper I might have bought, but since it's on the high end side I will not be purchasing a full bottle. Also the lasting power is very weak.

This smells like cheap and chic from moschino. Major powdery floral 90s flashback. No thx. Quite mature.

I left a review earlier and I came back and sadly had to delete it. Upon opening, it is stunning. It reminds me of the spring/summer counterpart to Dama Bianca, just in the sense of being angelic and etherial. I was in love, so much so that I almost rushed to buy a bottle but... I am happy that I did not! Unfortunately, a few hours into the fragrance, to MY nose... it starts to smell soggy. Like, it smells way too herbal to me, perhaps that is the rice note? I'm not sure. BUT, all of which to say... although I absolutely adore the opening, I extremely dislike the dry down.. I am getting such an odd smell, it reminds me of the way things smell when I'm sick... just, off? I hope it settles better on other people's skin!! A good reminder at least for ME to really give things a trial run before making a purchase! Such a shame, the opening is so magical! Not a fan of the mushy day-old rice dry down.

I'm so glad that I bought a sample of this before purchasing a full bottle, as I really didn't like this one. There is a gross note in it that ruins the whole thing. It opens bright and airy, but that quickly vanishes and turns into an off-smelling herbal note, that is really not enjoyable. I ended up throwing the sample away and scrubbing it off my wrists.

I LOVE "Love in Black" but "Love in White" has that strange damp note to it. Reminds me of a wet kitchen cloth. Overall, it gives me cleaning product / air freshener vibes.

This was a strong no for me. It doesn’t smell good at all to me, and I’m thinking it may be due to the rice note? I can’t smell anything else.

Totally the same as Charlie White Revlon. Not necessarily to pay for the huge price.

Received a sample of this for my wife to test, at first she wasn't too thrilled, however as the time progressed she began to really take a liken to this. She had the original Love in White but thought it was too floral and a bit overpowering once sprayed. There is a sharp pinch of woods, some fruits, and citrus that you get right away; the floral is there, just as it is in the original, however it is not as potent as the original. For Love in White For Summer, she says this is toned down a bit and she can bear this one-which she likes. Ladies, you will not be disappointed once you purchase this to place in your wardrobe. Projection: 7.5/10 Longevity: 7.5/10 Silage: 7/10 Performance: 8.5/10 Overall: 7.5/10

Please let this be a permanent creed fragrance ! I am in love with this from beginning to end. It’s love in white plus green apples and fruity notes taken out the vanilla powdery lactonic sweet quality of the original. Both great but they have a different feel. Although very much the same they are with a different texture as well. Love in white original suits all year around , it has a denser warm fuzzy lactoinc cozy quality as of the summer version has definitely less vanilla and has a prominent green apple and citrus , fruity smell. Both amazing perfumes. Summer version is easier to wear. It’s fresher also.

Creed Love in White for Summer!! Is so lovely.....I now own both original and summer. This has the same DNA with a few tweaks.....but the result is a lighter version. I love the original but this is fresher, lighter and clean .....not heavy or creamy. If you can’t wear the original I highly recommend the summer version.....who says you have to only wear in the summer! Still has that distinct rice note and that makes this fragrance different and a winner!

To me, hands down, the most beautiful flower blend from Creed. It’s fresh and youthful but not necessarily ‘young’. I adore magnolia and it comes through here. Perfectly blended I can detect the notes but they’re so smooth not sharp, don’t stand out individually too much. Base notes on dry down are just delicious. Full bottle worthy and I’ll be getting one.

Just to let others know this is in Creed Boutique in Miami and is showing up online too, as of May 17th, 2018. Gabler's description of it is good. I only smelled on a card but bought my wife a bottle for her birthday which is 2 weeks away before I'll get to really smell it.

I went wild over it a couple years ago when it launched.. its a bright white bridal dress, daytime smell, clean rich "good girl" calm and peaceful. It does give the impression of empathy, mothering and kindness. Just bought a bottle for my upcoming wedding!

Agree with others about the savory drydown. The opening white flowers are lovely but there is a bitter herbal note in the base. I suspect it is ambergris that is supposed to mimic something like an ocean breeze. It doesn't work for me.

This smells very unique to me. I hope creed comes out with a love in summer body lotion! It’s such a delicate and feminine scent it reminds me of those Chloe ads with models in loose gauzy white dresses dancing and prancing outdoors 🌸

This is light, delicate and fresh. I’m not a huge fan of the original and I love this. The magnolia really stands out and is so sweet and just shouts summer. It is so much more sparkling and fresh than the original, a huge upgrade.

Creed "Love in White for Summer" is high quality and it has the fresh/floral/creamy ingredients. Beautiful 8/10
