Neroli Sauvage

A good majority of reviews here are pretty much spot on in terms of performance against value and in the overall feel of what this fragrance embodies. It gives a clean & refreshing nature as soon as it's applied on the skin. A full flotilla of citrus on a nice bed of ambergris and nothing more. Think in the realm of Maurer & Wirtz 4711 and more closely to their Remix offerings with citrus and floral combinations. Neroli Sauvage is just a better blended offering with a close resemblance in performance to those latter creations. The quality though simple & serene, is undoubtedly there yet the value is severely lacking for the price it is going for today. The juice is gorgeous and can be worn without pretentiousness of on what side of the gender barrier does this elixir fall on. One can wear this at whatever time of the day and nearly any occasion sans a high end formal event and one might still pull it off. It actually rides that fine line exquisitely well as it smells amazing on both myself and my wife's skin as we both use it. Pushes for about 45 minutes to an hour and stays on the skin almost like that early morning dew just hovering above the wetted strands of grass. It won't go any further but, with some extra sprays and some on clothing one will catch pleasing and wonderful wafts of it as it mixes well with our body chemistry. Bitter, some tartness and a slightly sweet aura to it that brings good vibes and a smile on my face. Don't touch it at full retail (unless price is of no significance) but, if you see one righteously discounted at 40% or higher, I'd highly recommend giving it a solid go at it. In the end to each their own. Personally, I enjoy the hell out of this.

This smells of class, but a refreshing class. It's like Dior homme cologne was a union manager, and this is the CEO. It's a different take on neroli and citrus, very understated almost like it's not meant to project above a foot, which somehow suits this profile. It's reserved classiness but not stuck up, not suit or formal, but a scent I can picture a millionaire wearing in a golf or tennis outfit. Scent wise I love it, it's weirdly unique yet familiar. This might sound weird, but this smells like citrus, verbena and....new sneaker smell. Sounds odd but it works somehow lol. I just sprayed it like 10 mins ago and I doubt it will last 4 hours but man will I enjoy it until it lasts. Edit: After a full wearing this for sure lasts 7 hours +, but projection is around half a foot to a foot. I actually don't mind the projection since it gives a nice intimate scent bubble that you will smell and those really close to you will smell. I was actually expecting bad performance from all the reviews, but for me I got good performance. But if you are expecting projection, this isn't the one for you. I recently purchased Eau de Rochas, and there's definitely similarity between the two, EDR has a really rough opening that settles down around the 10 min mark and at that point EDR and ES are around 80% similar. NS has much better quality in it's ingredients, BUT if you want an alternative to NS (much cheaper too), give EDR a try. Both have around the same performance. Again it's not a 1 to 1, there are differences, but it's close enough to scratch that itch.

This is a settle, balanced, beautiful, super fresh and elegant fragrance. This is by far one of the most underrated Creed fragrance. I will tell you this little secret, every fragrance out there maybe you absolute favorite and you can only find it during your own right moment with it. I know this from my own journey, the first time I smelled the Neroli Sauvage I was a sample at a local Creed boutique. I absolutely hated the smell of it in the beginning. To me it was no more than just a lemonade vibe. One year had passed by and my friend was speaking so highly of this fragrance. I tried a larger sample he gave, and this time I tried it at my own pace, at my own perfect moment. Next summer I bought a bottle and now every time I spray it I remmeber how Creed described this fragrance on their website. A hot summer evening in a Southern Italian village, soft ocean breeze and a glass of vino. It is finaly makes sense now. I had the similar story with Royal Mayfair, untill you get the perfect setting one fragrance may mean nothing to you. It is like an experience, you associate the aroma of the situation then you add the vibe of the atmosphere around you end up the memorable inprint that stays with you forever. Remmeber this next time you visit that village in Southern Italy on your adventurous summer vacation. The moment you recognize the scent of Neroli Sauvage from the air of never ending green bergamot plantations. The scent 10/10 Longevity 5/10 Price 5/10

Cannot speak for any kind of recent formulation - or in fact any batch other than the 2012 Millesime batch that I recently acquired, thus I'm strictly speaking about this vintage version of Neroli Sauvage. Some of the reviews here speak of 'cleaning product' or generic lemon notes, plus poor longevity. This almost put me off, because there are some renditions of lemon that made me want to dry retch such as lemon lozenges, toilet cleaner etc. Totally understandable. This is absolutely *not* that sort of cheap, synthetic citrus - or anything close. Firstly - this is 100% a masculine fragrance - because of the peppery ambergris that tickles your nostrils combined with the clean note I almost interpret as Juniper or Cypress. The neroli itself I think blended into the citrus over time to elevate the notes themselves and present that fizzy, luxurious citrus top. Secondly - whats interesting is of all the fragrances I've worn over the years - this is the first/only on that 'feels alive'. Other frags seem to sit on the skin, usually dry down etc... but this fragrance 'breathes' and seems to 'live' and evolve - thus between the moment you start inhaling to smell it and the moment your lungs are at capacity - its has 'changed' three times - leaving you needing more.... if that makes sense.

Ive sampled the vintage version of this and I own a newer 2.5oz bottle. The fragrances are "night and day" as far as their performance; the vintage stuff easily lasted a workday but the new stuff, maybe til lunch. The new stuff (with the yellow sticker label) is great! It's sharp and pleasant and the opening few minutes really do smell quite a bit like Irish Spring soap, which i happen to love. Super-citrus zest and white floral, as time goes by the white floral becomes more forefront, but it all fades away sooner than you'd probably like. Weirdly enough if i applied this scent right after a shower, I seemed to get more longevity than if I sprayed it on before leaving the house, as usual. So maybe walk into your wardrobe while wearing your towel and hit yourself with this a few times, then go get ready for work :) The vintage stuff i sampled so long ago i don't have a heck of a lot to say, but i recall it was generally a bit more 'salty', was less citrus-zesty and 3 sprays lasted a Summer workday. Loved it. Still love the new stuff too. This is somewhat of a hidden gem within the Creed lineup. An easy 8 out of 10 for me, a proper go-to/no-brainer scent for pretty much any season, but the warmer the better.

Ok, if you want to know what this smells like take bergamote and grapefruit with the astringency of the rinds included, put them in a blender and add some very expensive soap into it. This is the first 30 minutes of the fragrance. After that the neroli begins to come through and the citrus dies down but does not disappear. The beginning borders on astringent but doesn't cross into that realm. I would describe it more like bracing, like jumping into an icy cold pond. That being said this along with Gucci Pour Homme II are my two favorite scents of all time. I have smelled hundreds of fragrances and even though this is not particularly daring it just resonates with me. It is a bright clean masculine scent that is very high quality and well made. As far as longevity I think that it really depends on the batch. I have been lucky to find that the scent lasts for hours on my skin. This scent, if it last on your skin, is worth every penny in my opinion. This is a personal masterpiece for me.

What a magnificent scent. It’s marine-like, bitter-sweet neroli, refreshing masculine take on a classic summer fragrance. I get a 2 hours of projection. Longevity goes for about 6 hours as an intimate scent. If I workout after that point it will anctually kick on angain annd I’ll get 1 extra hour with slight projection. If this fragrance projected for 4-5 hours and last 10 hours. It would be the holy grail of summer fragrances. But for most they will see the performance as the Achilles heel making one not purchase. In my books though? It’s worth it. You just have to know what to use it for. Which yes, is slightly discouraging because it’s so expensive. But It’s a fragrance that is uplifting and can be worn for a short night out, a shorter date, meet up, summer evening. Just don’t expect it to be with you the whole evening announcing its presence.

I love most Creed fragrances and managed to great a great deal on a 250ml Flacon a few years ago. Although these citrus/aromatic/freshies aren't my favorite scent genre, I found Neroli Sauvage to be a very nice Summertime citrus fragrance, although it didn't initially grab my attention as being anything extraordinaire; just a very solid and enjoyable citrus scent. Over the years I have really come to enjoy wearing this one during the warm Summer months. Unfortunately, the longevity of this fragrance is weak even for a citrus scent (2-hours, 3 if I'm lucky) and, except for the opening, it sits pretty close to my skin. I really like this fragrance, but I cannot recommend it because of performance issues. I'm actually a bit surprised because I have fragrance friendly skin and most Creeds perform well on my skin. A strong like!

I ordered a 5ml decant of this, and Erolfa, because I've been craving some Summer scents. I had previously sampled Erolfa but this was my first time trying Neroli Sauvage, and right off the bat i find the two colognes to share many similarities!! Both open citrusy and salty, Erolfa being a tad saltier, but as they dry down they go in slightly different directions. I also find a similarity with this to Jardin D'Amalfi, but only in terms of how i perceive the citrus to smell kinda like "orange fizzy candies". In summary, I'm actually really glad i tried Neroli Sauvage! For my personal taste, i like it better than JD'A but not as much as i like Erolfa. A no-brainer for Summers near the coast, and seems to be available at a good price. Another Creed that doesn't get the fanfare it should. A solid 8/10 for me, easily likeable.

Gentlemanly, clean, soapy, sexy and safe...quintessential spring/summer signature scent. This is fantastic stuff!!! So simple, yet so good. Open with a. pleasant but not overwhelming citrus orange vibe. As it dries, the neroli and lemon verbena combo turn into a nice green fresh soapy awesomeness. It is so good and non-offensive. This is what one lives with until the ambergris sneaks in to add depth. Projection and longevity are average...the only downside hear. Easily unisex. Spring/summer. This would make a phenomenal signature scent for someone during warmer months. Personally, I like this better than GIT. I think it’s a sexier “safe” every day all occasions DNA.

A deliciously refreshing opening which reminds me of the finest freshly squeezed orange juice, served in a flowering orange grove in the sun drenched countryside of Seville. I love to wake up to this fragrance when the weather is warm, it’s like being on a Mediterranean vacation! The spectacular opening soon gives way to a mouthwatering sherbet lemon note from the verbena, which, anchored by the ambergris, persists much longer than the average citrus fragrance. A gorgeously uplifting summer fragrance with an almost gourmand quality; you can positively taste the citrus freshness.

Very good Neroli and actually prefer it over Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. Creed Neroli Sauvage is more versatile. A lot of citrus and freshness. I tend to say that fresh and citrus fragrances are a bit flat and simple to me but this one is not to my nose. Well crafted (still simple) and blended in a good way. I would almost say this is a better and more refined version of D&G Light Blue Intense with a bit more depth. "Everyone" is wearing Light Blue so if you like that one and want to stand out a bit more, go for Creed Neroli definitely. You won't regret it.

Love this one. It’s such a mood lifter. The opening is so refined, gentle, and refreshing. Then the rest of the scent is all about creamy ambergris with hints of verbana. That’s pretty much it. Beautiful and simple. I used to own it but didn’t appreciate it and sold it. But I’ll be picking up a tester soon for the upcoming warmer months. I recommend skipping it altogether if you’re not a fan of linear scents. Longevity is excellent, lasts all day on me, but that always varies from person to person. An all season juice that'll shine great in the heat.

Wow the similarity with Eau de Rochas Homme is uncanny! And what do ya know... Rochas released in 1993. Creed released in 1994. 😂🤣😂 It is indeed exceptional juice, but not for the neroli note, mainly the lemon/citrus. It has the sparkling Creed opening and velvety musk in the base which is a great contrast to the citrus. As it dries it starts to remind me of ELDO Cologne and Atelier Grand Neroli which are also primarily citrus... Longevity aside, could still be full bottle worthy for me, discounted of course.

Bright and fresh. I think this is one of Creed's most underrated fragrances. I don't know of anyone who would object to you wearing this fragrance that can be worn by male or female alike. the only drawback to the fragrance is it just doesn't last as long as I would like. I usually get about 4 hours out of this fragrance unless I spray it on my clothes then maybe 5. even though, it doesn't last as long you're fragrance smells so good it's very well worth the money.

I don’t know if anybody feels this way, but this is the happiest and brightest CREED I’ve tried. Judging from this 2012 batch I have, the opening is sparkly and zesty. The drydown becomes herbaceous and slightly ambery/salty. The opening is undoubtedly my favorite and it gives me such a positive energy when I smell it. I’m not the biggest d*ck rider of this house but wow I love this.

Nice neroli scent, where the herbal aspect is more prominent and the flowery aspects are less. Bright and uplifting citrus neroli scent good for summer times. Creed signature is there (salty musky).. but unfortunately it dies to skinscent in 5 minutes and disappears in 45 minutes.. There are many scents a like which last longer. Beautiful but a big disappointment

I don't get neroli and I cant match it with any neroli one, though its nice sunny and cosy, like it gives you the feel of summer sun heat over the yellow lemon fruit tree, I get mostly lemon verbena, the best part is the dry down very nice, cosy lemony ambergris creed's quality, but again this issue with longevity and sillage. good for coolish weather imo.

In typical Creed fashion, the name does not reflect the perfume. Don't expect to smell any Neroli here. Its basically Lemon Pledge furniture polish. Lasts for 30 minutes, and then leaves you wondering why you just spent all that money for this. Precisely why you should just get up and go to a store to smell this.

Like being cornered by someone in a linen shirt, convinced they exude authentic Mediterranean vibes - while completely unaware they're one spritz away from smelling exactly like the hand sanitiser in a Pizza Express. That said, when used appropriately or layered it is truly stunning.

Wow! What an awesome summer frag! It beauty is in it's simplicity, Citrus and Ambergris, fresh and masculine. The longevity is decent on this, I get 5-6 hours easy, and the projection is moderate. So whether your in the office or at a beach bbq, Neroli Sauvage is a great choice!

In the opening, it is mostly bergamot. After some time, it moves into a more herbal type of scent. The verbena here is very high quality, with just a touch of neroli. In the base, you can smell high-quality ambergris. It lasts quite long, but the sillage is rather intimate.

Probably one of the best citrus fragrances I’ve ever smelled. Performance isn’t as bad as everyone says, it usually projects a little less than arms length for 2-3 hours, then becomes a nice skin scent for another 3. Definitely the most underrated Creed imo.

Fantastic smelling fragrance (like most creeds). Terrible performance (like most creeds). I pick up traces of Erolfa and MI, but still different than both. I'm tempted to go full bottle... but damn that price and damn that performance. only time will tell.

Gorgeous crispy scent! Very fresh with a raspy twist, although neroli is not a main note for me. It's all about lemongrass and citrus with a bit of salt. I would love this on a handsome Italian man with jeans and a plain white T. Hmmmmmm

Über citrus opening soon gives way to an intermingling with beautifully herbaceous verbena. Slightly bittersweet neroli rushes in to mellow things out. Great warm weather scent, staying intensely fresh despite heat and sweat. (5)

One of if not the best freshie creed has in my opinion the others are good but this one takes the cake. Layer this or erolfa with royal oud. Actually creed royal oud can be layered with anything to add a nice spicy wood.

Really nice green salty citrus scent. Neroli Sauvage will not amaze and justify its price to everybody, but for a Creed enjoyer, it certainly pleases me. Would love to wear this to an all white occasion.

The first 15 minutes are stunningly good.. but then Poof! it fades away. And then 20 minitues later it becomes a weak skin scent.Terrible longevity.

I love the fragrance but It has very poor longevity :( very soft, not strong neroli like Ferrari bright neroli. it is classic scent.

Good for summer but doesn’t last. Not super complex either but has a nice light neroli note.

*Thank you to Nattonline and Lana Lool who BOTH sent me samples of this interesting and wonderful scent* NEROLI SAUVAGE (or "wild bitter orange blossom") is truly wonderful. Not because it is complex or all that daring and groundbreaking, but for its simplicity and quiet elegance. On first applying it, all I could smell was ALCOHOL...this evaporated in a flash (literally) and the scent of tart bitter grapefruit and clear sharp bergamot greeted my nostrils. This is a citrusy scent, however there is something else in here; something almost "vintage" in the way it FEELS (like an old school fougere almost, but not quite). As it begins to smooth out, dry neroli and warm orange flowers blend to create a very unisex aroma framed with a beautiful verbena scent. Now it is more subtle (than sauvage) but utterly gorgeous. More floral than citric, with just enough "green" to be down to earth. It is almost like walking through a citrus grove in bloom, on a VERY hot day (so the scent hangs heavy but itself is NOT) as a warm wind caresses you and the sun shines on your face. The warm (almost powdery) amber gives it a very comfortable ending and it rests softly, but persistently, on my skin. Many citrus scents fade quickly, and my skin is notorious for eating light springlike florals; but here all the players get "equal time" and after the citruses begin to fade, then the blossoms fall off (as blossoms will) and the utter beauty of the surrounding greens and sweet crumbly resin remain close to the skin with a clean and comfortable scent. Despite the "floral" name, NS is good for anyone; and if you are looking for something nice, not too loud but still natural and refreshing with quality and a hint of nostalgia...you may like this one. I do...I just wish it "stuck around" longer! Sillage: okay Longevity: fleeting Overall: 3.5/5 Is this worth the full price of a bottle at retail? Well...that depends: if you are buying for projection and longevity, probably NOT; however, if you want something that is amazingly natural smelling and utterly gorgeous...then YES! NEROLI SAUVAGE, to me, is more something I would wear for a "pick-me-up" scent and my own private pleasure, as opposed to something that makes a statement or garners compliments.

Neroli Sauvage is a bright, uplifting citrus fragrance that works well in hot, humid weather conditions. The scent has decent longevity and moderate projection in the tropical weather in which I usually wear it. I find Neroli Sauvage a bit less dressy than Green Irish Tweed, which, notwithstanding a similar lemon verbena note, goes in a dapper masculine direction while this scent remains easily, gracefully informal and totally unisex. I think comparisons to Creed's Pure White are inapposite because Pure White, while admittedly having a similar, if more refined, citrus opening to NS, develops a galbanum-driven bitter soapy accord in its heart that is radically different from NS' faintly floral middle. Now, about that floral note, just as Creed's Royal Oud has very little oud, neroli is just a faint bit player in this fragrance. That being said, the floral heart here is pleasant while it lasts, it just doesn't last long and gets trod on by the citrus from the opening. The base here is the Creed house ambergris accord. In the relatively recent bottle I have, there is nothing natural smelling about this ambergris note, but the synthetic is nice enough and it hangs in long after the other elements of this scent have faded away. I bought my bottle of NS at a very significant discount from one of the well-known, on-line, New York State-based discounters. At the price I paid, well under $200 for 100 ML, I think that there is a lot to like about this enjoyably upbeat citrus fragrance. At the prices Creed want for it, I would not be interested. (Of course, with the oft-discussed batch variations in Creed products, the risk of getting a bottle that doesn't quite smell the way it should accompanies buying online even if you buy from a source that sells 100% genuine fragrances. This fact makes NS a tricky fragrance to buy at a good price and a very, very expensive one to buy at full retail.) Recommended, but only if you can find it heavily discounted at a source which you trust.

Neroli Sauvage is a good bergamot/lemon/neroli combo, so a citrus/soap combination of a warm weather fragrance. Best suited for a summer day, the citrus-dominant opening give way to a neroli- and ambergris-dominated dry down, certainly appropriate for both formal and informal circumstances in the warmer months. It adopts some of the pleasant cleanliness of a bathroom without smelling like cleaning fluid. Certifiably fresh, for sure. Some seem to identify this as a women's fragrance but it certainly is innocuous enough to work for either gender, though I'm sure opinions on neroli vary. At the millesime/EDP concentration, the projection and longevity expectations are decently high, so at merely average for both, I found Neroli Sauvage a little disappointing, given the Creed price tag (Silver Mountain Water and Aventus, for example, are other warm weather Creed entries that last and project greater, at least on my skin). One might be better served by Thierry Mugler cologne for something a little lighter and a lot cheaper (or 4711, even lighter and cheaper, to that point), or Tom Ford Neroli Portofino for something more concentrated and even more expensive. It just seems that enough fragrances have gone down the road of neroli to render Neroli Sauvage unappealing in the quality/price spectrum. Still, an enjoyable scent that, if price were not a factor, might end up in my collection. 7 out of 10

UPDATE July 2016 After I wrote this I scrolled down and found my previous review from May 2015. Too funny!!!! My nose is nothing if not consistent. (If you see it, you'll know exactly what I mean.) Was gifted this bottle a year or so ago. Sniffed at it numerous times, today was the day to wear it. I live in the US- The Midwest. It is a cool 66°, overcast day. I've combined this with The Body Shop's Shea Karite. IMO NS, lends itself more towards the masculine, so I need a facet that would tweak it more toward the feminine and the SK was the perfect touch. NS all over, SK on chest, neck and arms. The results: fresh, clean, bright with a touch of soft, cozy. It's a relaxing fragrance and soothing. The NS is a bit aggressive on its own. It says, "wake up, let's start the day and let's do it outdoors!" My Combo says, "relax, your fresh and clean. Now let's cuddle up, indoors or out with a good book." Or, "Meet a friend for a lunch, al fresco." I'm really enjoying this combo. Next time I'm thinking of adding something a bit sweeter to NS and see how that works.

This is a good Creed fragrance but not a great one. Not in the same class as Aventus, SMW, GIT, VIW, etc. This is a beautiful citrus/verbena fragrance that dries down to a nice blend of wood and amber on top of the citrus/bergamot. Very fresh and obviously made with premium ingredients (not synthetic at all). @chessdaybaby nailed it below as this definitely opens “sparkly and zesty”. Spring/summer only and projects/lasts reasonably well, but not stellar. It is light, nothing remarkable or unique and is overpriced for what it is. Perfectly unisex. I am a huge Creed fan (this is my 16th Creed bottle) but there are better options than Neroli Sauvage for much less $$$. l’Occitane Verbena/Verveine immediately comes to mind as the L’Occitane is very similar and less than 1/4 the price. 8/10 fragrance, but not worth the $200-ish from the big discounters let alone crazy retail prices. Just buy L’Occitane Verveine or Verveine Agrumes. Review based on a 2021 50ml bottle.

Creed has the ultimate summer scent in Neroli Sauvage - bright, zesty, and fresh - a real shame then that it’s so very short-lived! Opening with intensely bold grapefruit and lemon peel with hints of oakmoss, Neroli Sauvage is exquisite. 30 minutes in and the open fades to reveal herbaceous verbena and the ‘fizz’ of bittersweet neroli. The dry down, achieved in less than an hour on my skin, is of subtle and buttery ambergris elevated by the inclusion of more neroli. By the second hour I’m left with little more than a fleeting memory of this summery beauty. Neroli Sauvage is a sublimely cheerful and very wearable aromatic floral fragrance for the 2 hours it’s detectable. The impression one gets is that the quality of the ingredients is second to none. Certainly a unisex scent. Suited to warm weather wear. Longevity is very short, sillage is moderate at open then almost non-existent. 5/10 (a strong 8.5 if it performed better)

Creed NEROLI SAUVAGE is a cheerful, clean and refreshing aromatic blend which would be great for the hot summer just around the bend! Neither very wild, nor very neroli, however, NEROLI SAUVAGE opens with a bright burst of bergamot tempered with a bit of grapefruit. The drydown is very smooth and lightly floral with low sillage and, as advertised, suitable for gents and dames, guys and dolls, lads and lassies. Hermaphrodites and transvestites, too! From the name one might have expected--I certainly did--a heavier presentation of neroli. Not so. I actually found the opening neroli of FANTASIA to be much more pronounced than that of NEROLI SAUVAGE! Quibbles over the name aside, I find NS to be a pleasant, entirely enjoyable and wearable aromatic floral. Unfortunately, the beauty is shortlived, so I won't be adding this happy omnisex splashable frag to my collection.

My first Creed! Oh wow, this is a gorgeous fragrance, from the fresh, natural, lemon opening to the soft, gentle, warm ambergris dry down. And it's actually the dry down that makes me love this scent so much. Yes, the initial citrus blast is fleeting and lasts merely minutes on my skin. But oh, that beautiful dry down is intoxicating to me and well worth the price. It's interesting though, I don't get ANY neroli out of this juice at all. And while the bottle itself is very nice, the plastic gold cap feels cheap. I tested this at Neiman Marcus and ordered it at a substantial discount from one of the reputable online retailers, and it seems to be the real deal. It was still expensive though, so I only wear this on special occasions. Just beautiful, so warm and comforting. Well worth the splurge for me. Love it!

I blind bought this based on reviews and due to the past success I've had wearing creeds that most people say has poor performance. It did initially have poor performance but I didn't give up on it so soon. After a couple more weeks past letting it sit out and ferment like a peice of fruit, threw it on and BAM! Performance is much improved in projection and longevity. Don't ask me how but creeds seem to get better the longer you keep them, well for me anyway. What does this smell like to me? Starts with a blast of citrus mostly lemon bergamote and neroli in the background but yet noticeable. Kinda dries down with a smoother lemon orange custard with a semi 80s vibe to it. Just beautifully done! This works very well in spring. If youre like me and like sleeper creeds than give this one a try. . OVERALL: 7/10

Great verbina scent, but very very intimate. I agree the neroli here is undetectable. So lively, lovely, fresh. I get ambergris for sure in the mid & dry down.. but also a slight warmth from unlisted sandalwood. Leaves your skin smelling ‘sun-kissed’ like salty ocean skin. Edit: 10/4/24 Opening is a fantastic juicy Verbina, but today the grapefruit really came through in the mid/ dry down projecting as the dominant player next to the ambergris for the remainder of the life span. Nothing tart here, Smells like lemonade w/ sweet grapefruit. Nothing like DHC.. that frag is a synthetic, tart, floral mess. Neroli Sauvage is of great quality. The citrus reminds me of a softer Hermes Eau Givree & Viking w/ its dash of spice.

Fresh, clean and modern. I do like Neroli Sauvage and was gifted a bottle by my grandmother several years ago. I wasn't that into fragrances at the time and really thought this was too masculine for me. Sadly, I used a large portion of the bottle as bathroom air freshener as I didn't know how expensive Creed fragrances were. My tastes have evolved and now I like to wear it on my skin. I do like the opening which is a blast of harsh citrus leaves. I like to wear this more in warmer weather. My bottle is almost empty at this point and I probably would not repurchase a bottle of this, for one the price is too high for what this fragrance is in my opinion and the longevity is poor, about 2 hours.

Intro - I live in Pacifica, so my daytime temps and nighttime temps are much warmer, and that means I want a fragrance that is light. For a scent that matches to my world of warm, humid, ocean nearby... or for those of you who want evocative of that... this is a great scent. I like that it has some spice, some warmth, but it also is not an “in your face” kind of scent. It will blend it and be lost in only a few hours... but, for those of us in warm climates, that’s to be expected and we would top up or move on to the next/evening scent. My view - a bit underrated from Creed, but delivers if your goal is “that smells good” versus “you smell good.”

Definitely the most underrated Creed men's fragrance. I never hear suggestions for Neroli Sauvage even though it is an excellent, masculine summertime freshie. The main two scents that make up this blend is tropical neroli and a refreshing citrus that reminds me of lemonade. Versatility, price, and performance are probably the biggest issues here, which probably contributes to why it isn't promoted as much. I would say it is best used as a vacation frag, somewhere where it is hot, and is an alternative to those who want that type of fragrance, but without tropical fruits that accompany like pineapple, passionfruit, coconut, etc.

Nice, natural scent, although the neroli note itself may be the weakest and least distinctive of all the neroli fragrances I've smelled. Very poor performance, about on par with Milliseme Imperial in that regard. I've got lots of Creeds and while this is nice, it's not one of my favorites. Creed's forte, along with the scent profiles themselves, is the natural materials. This sometimes comes at the expense of performance. Neroli Sauvage is typical Creed.

This is the most high pitched citrus ever made. The verbena here is the shining star to me. Imagine the most sunny, hot summer day ever, this is what you need for that day and that day only. If compared to DHC, i think this is better. It just smells more posh, more refined. It smells like a younger cousin of Erolfa also. A true underdog from Creed here. Just imagine the green-ish blue sea, clear water. This is what this reminds me of.

I've tested this a few times and it's a high quality neroli citrus fragrance. It's more citrus than neroli, with some jasmine in the mid and some ambergris from the base but it could use more imo. The problem is its not distinct enough to separate it from the sea of other fragrances in the same vein. Performance is good for a citrus, and I'd be a buyer at around the 100 dollar mark. Scent 7/10 Performance 6/10
