Queen of Silk

Sometimes perfumes are strange. Something made me curious to visit my sample again and the cloying part has totally disappeared. Now it's very smooth as well, still (luckily) tuberose doesn't stand out. It's still strong though and I think that it can easily cause headache but not for me anymore. So, if you try it and don't like it, wait a couple of weeks even more. You may be as surprised as I am now! In this case I'm very happy that my sample was leaking a little bit since I got a sniff of it from time to time when I was just moving my sample. And today the magic happened and now I sprayed this heavily in my arms. MY FINAL REVIEW: Absolutely stunning blend where all the notes merges perfectly. Seductive, captivating, full-bodied, rich scent is a combination of fruity aroma, warm spicy touch of precious Saffron, creamy, silky white florals and dark tones from Patchouli, Myrrh and Ambery nuances. Tuberose is made beautifully since it differs a lot of the style nowadays. It’s not heady nor stands out so clearly which I’m used to but it’s glorious and impressive regardless. Vanilla and Passionfruit gives it fruity sweetness and musky base makes it classy, seductive, yet cozy. It really adds a sensual vibe to the dry down. I’m not a fan of ambroxan, but here it doesn’t bother me after the initial difficulty, even though a hint of syntheticity does come through every now and then. The oud is not particularly noticeable, but it certainly adds depth to the overall composition. The texture is almost sticky first like bold as well but it evolves into the silky smooth, soft and pampering. This is a fragrance for festive moments as well as occasions when you want to be noticed. It’s a confidence booster. It makes you feel like a queen. 👑 I don't have any idea how my thoughts can change this much during around 5-6 weeks. Now I smell all the beautiful little things in the notes in it but still I can't find Oud in it. Is this "Oud perfume"? No, it's not noticeable. Is this "Tuberose scent"? I would say no because there is so much other thing going on as well but for sure it's one of the notes which makes this quite heady and easily dominate the concoction if you don't like it. Is this fruity? No and first I was disappointed not to even get a gentle whiff of Passionfruit. Now it’s pushing through all that complexity and the fruity flavor is just perfect. What about the comparisons below? Alien, Aura or even Angel by Mugler: I don't find any similarities and I love so much all of them. Alien has been mentioned many times but it's heady amazing Jasmine. Blonde Amber: nothing same but the headache from both. NR Musk Noir Rose: No, not even close and even if changing that into mature grandma scent (whatever that means), no. Unisex? Absolutely I think this is either love or hate fragrance. This is very complex and there is a quality but please sample first. This is not a safe blind buy. THIS BELOW IS BASED ON A RANDOM SAMPLE when I really tried to give it a full wear multiple times but I couldn’t. Now after many testings I would love to wear it nonstop. I don't know exactly what is bothering me here the most but the blend is cloying and it gives me a headache. If I'm checking the notes there is nothing which I don't like even if I haven't been wearing so much Tuberose dominant scents lately (love it though). This is blended very well and it's difficult to detect some individual notes. This is very potent as well which may be partly because I don't like this one but I think it's quite strong anyway and with this scent the less is more. I’m addicted to this fragrance, absolutely in Love. I received a sample & at first spray I wasn’t quite sure if I loved or hated it. Wore it for several hours then decided to go in for another spray. The second spray is where I picked up the finer more subtle notes and it was instant True Love, I’m obsessed. I guess my nose needed to adjust to this fragrance. The first spray it smelled potent, almost too chemically, and I kept telling myself it was too masculine smelling for me. The second spray is where I noticed the sweetness of the vanilla, the soft lovely tuberose, saffron & yes oud but its a good oud. It smells absolutely divine on my skin. My sample bottle broke after I only got to test it for two days (dropped it on floor and glass broke 😢). I immediately went into withdrawals & purchased the small bottle. The same thing happened when it was delivered to my house a few days later: at first spray I was hesitant & unsure if I really did like it. Honestly, the first 30 minutes is not my favorite part. What it transforms into over the next several hours is where it’s at for me. When I went back for the second spray a few hours later, that’s when I knew what heaven smelled like. This is beautifully blended, soft & gentle, sweet yet bold. Queen of Silk is a sexy scent for sure, I feel like a goddess wearing it. It seems counterintuitive but I think this is a summer scent. I feel like it gets better in the heat. I live in Florida and when I go outside in the summer heat I want to keep my wrist at my nose bc it just smells amazing. It has impressive projection & lasts all day, especially if you spray it on clothes. I work from home, I don’t think I’d recommend wearing it to the office bc it’s pretty strong - but in such a lovely way! Longevity on skin is 6+ hours min, on clothes or on paper lasts for days & days. Sprayed it on a piece of paper and it still smells good almost a week later.

Just a huge WOW! I heard about Creed "Queen of Silk" and absorbed multiple social media reviews about the fragrance. But I never considered sampling, or purchasing it mainly due to 1) the passion fruit note, and 2) the Creed price-point. I received a sizable decant of Queen of Silk (from a reputable e-commerce seller) with a recent full bottle purchase of Amouage "Love Tuberose." So, the passion fruit note (not at all a favorite note of mine) and the apricot Osmanthus are definitely present in the bright citrus opening. There's some saffron spiciness, which I love. The perfume immediately morphs into a creamy, warm melange of florals-definitely tuberose, osmanthus, magnolia. Oud wood rises a bit but is never super-prominent. The dry-down is to die for with more florals, resinous woods, creamy vanilla, a smidge of patchouli and a bunch of other things that perfectly anchor the fragrance. The ingredients are high quality; the blending is impeccable. Had to purchase a 75ml bottle. Just buy this. I LOVE this fragrance!!

Absolutely love love love this one. It was love instantly, and so addicted to it i keep sniffing the bottle with the cap off. I dont analyze scent as important as the how it effects my mood. It makes me feel beautiful, feminine, confident, full of women power, and it takes me to a place where I fear nothing. I dont know if I ever caused people around me headache because it supposed to be too strong for some, I found it last longer than most, and so far no one told me its too strong when I wear it. I finally looked at the notes of this amazing fragrance, i understood why I love it so much because all the notes are my favorites. When they are blended masterfully of course I am crazy for it. Thank you Creed for making this one, couldn't be more personal for me this one. I like many different type of scents, but there are always something missing. This one i can say to me it is a fully satisfying scent. It doesn't need anything more or has anything too much. Just my favorite perfume. Enjoying it much.

Queen of Silk , oh Hail the Queen (Babee).....My favorite Creed Scent. Imagine a Cool breezy fall night and your Crush and you are finally alone and he places his hand on the small of your back . He then gently grabs your hand kisses your ring finger, then he pulls you in closer and says....you smell so sexy....when can I take you out? I would like to get to know you Beautiful. I've seen you around........that's how good this Smells....longevity on my skin 12plus hours with only 3 sprays..on fabrics the Queen has to be washed off.......Oh HAIL THE Queen...is on my list...She is Mine.......Jomashop did a Marketing strategy on me...Raise the price then offered a 4th of July coupon......like I haven't been watching the Queen on a daily basis....oh well !! those samples I have are just fine for the now ......until I'm a full 2.5oz bottle owner. Queen of Silk is Persephone, the Queen of the Underworld. She's powerful, demanding, and so damn sexy. I bought this frag blind and have no regrets. I could blissfully drown in this scent. While Carmina is syrupy sweet and very rose forward, Queen of Silk is darker, deeper, louder, demanding attention wherever she goes. This fragrance opens with a blast of saffron and clean leathery notes. Woody patchouli comes to play, along with a gorgeous oud note. In the dry down, it's all incense and smokey vanilla. She's leather and suede, a mix of edgy and soft, a voice of darkness invisible, pierced with the brightness of dawn. I should add that my skin eats fragrance like a starving man at a buffet, so I can be liberal with my Queen of Silk application. Those of you lucky enough to have skin that holds on to scent, be careful with her; a couple sprays should do it.

Got to test on skin at Neiman Marcus! To preface, I'm not a "nose," just a regular joe that likes pretty fragrances in beautiful bottles. QOS to me is a warm fruity fragrance; on my skin it pulls fruity, vanilla, and incense forward, in that order. It does have a classical touch with tuberose in the opening, and that's my cup of tea, I'm 28! To know the vision behind it is "silk," I would say it delivers. When I smell this, I imagine a stunning woman in a deep purple silk dress and or a dashing man in a dark violent silky tux; a dreamy Great Gatsby night. Overall, placing price aside, I think it merits as one of the most "elegant" fragrances I've gotten to smell so far that lasts all day on my skin. It deserves a good sniff and trial *on skin* if you like "warm" / amber and incense in your fragrances! Happy sniffing everyone!

The silk crowned sovereign in the Creed range. Queen of silk smells like a renaissance queen at the height of her opulence; fine silk pooled at her feet, exotic jewels glinting in candle light and perfume creating an aura of invincibility. There are so many delicious gourmand ingredients at play, but for me the saffron, bergamot are the first out the gates, while the passionfruit firms this scent up. The vanilla is delicious, almost milky, and melts into warm, honeyed excess. It smells like a divine pudding. This fregance projects and gets alot of attention, so don't expect to spray this and go unnoticed. It leans feminine, but a confident man can wear this and come across alluring. My favourite in the Creed range. Regal, rich and rightfully yours.

Edit: I finally bought it for myself💜 I have taken my time to review this one. Despite the fact that people call this one generic, I would have to disagree. It may smell generic because it’s a likable fragrance. However this to me doesn’t compare to anything. If I would have to think of a perfume that’s on the same realm, it would be The only one intense from Dolce and Gabbana or Tubéreuse Astrale from Crivelli. This perfume is deep, dark and so so feminine. I would imagine Meryl Streep wearing this perfume in the Devil wears Prada. The perfume is definitely more mature feminine than youthful, but that’s what I love. Whenever I wear this, I feel put together, rich and warm. It’s an amazing scent and definitely worth its price.

Hello, I'm testing the perfume on my hand and I can definitely explain that on me (my skin is white-yellowish) the fragrance went through three quick stages in 30 minutes. It revealed itself powdery, like a silky purple blush, but after 10 minutes it thickened with this oppressive vintage atmosphere and fortunately after about another 10 minutes "Gucci Rush" took over, but quite weighed down by the unyielding vintage base, which is quite modernistic and beautiful, it is not a Lelchen perfume at all, it is exceptional for me, an innovative oriental with a Gucci Rush echo. For me, as someone who has been doing this for 20 years, this masterpiece is a sexy, mature, naughty, feminine winter and official aromatic signature!

There’s also a curious petrol note (saffron’s cheeky doing, perhaps) that adds a faintly medicinal twist before it settles. But give it time, this queen knows the power of a graceful transformation. As she evolves, the scent takes a more feminine turn, revealing a warm swirl of incense and lush florals. The texture becomes unmistakably silky, true to the fragrance’s name. The drydown is sweet but not excessively so, with a smooth, refined finish. A beautiful floral oriental that’s an easy reach in autumn and winter. 💜 💜 💜

The name is perfect, this perfume is fit for a queen. Not a princess, not a clean girl. A queen. The passion fruit and saffron opening is unusual but incredibly interesting and elegant. From the very start, this perfume has incredible presence and when I tested it, 3 to 4 sprays on me, filled up the room. I can pick some very polished oud, some incense, maybe a little sweetness from the patchouli. Projection is disappointing after a while but longevity on skin is phenomenal, 24 hours. I have a 10ml travel spray of this and plan to get a full bottle. Somehow, it reminds me of Cairo from Penhaligon's, which I also like a lot💜💜💜

Very well blended. To my nose this is a smooth blend of Xerjoff Opera and La tosca with a hint of Amouage Material in the drydown. It has freshnes of La tosca and depth of Opera, and warmth and "sweetness" of Material. Elegant and sexy. This is a scent for a mature woman, 40+. Imagine yourself in a elegant backless halter dress,no bra,high heels, loos,wavy,silky hair and velvety lipstick. Sexy as hell!Beautiful! This one and Victoria Beckham Suite 302 are the most sexiest perfumes I came across. My husband wants to eat me up when I am wearing them :-)

I received a sample today from Creed because I am a frequent customer. I did not vote on longevity or sillage. I really like this scent because it’s very ladylike. I feel a mature (in age) woman or a woman in a prestigious job or position would gravitate toward this fragrance. I am not a perfume influencer so I cannot explain the notes well. i do sense the patchouli, Osmanthus, vanilla and incense. This is reminiscent of Chypre Mousse to me. It’s a very strong like for me. Super classy. Update: I get Gris Dior vibes more than Chypre Mousse.

Really like this one as a guy, really surprised it is marketed not as a unisex fragrance. First, love the potency of this and the scent profile really reminds me of mix between Ambre Lumiere by Molinard, Opera by Sospiro, with some hints of Red Tobacco Intense by Mancera deep down. Funny enough, after a long while it finally clicked what Queen of Silk really reminded me of, in a dry down on a paper strip or clothes, I get so much resemblance of a cheapy Jaguar Classic Gold by Jaguar, I am not even kidding, check it out if you have a chance.

To me, this perfume is truly a masterpiece. It is absolutely gorgeous and was love at first sniff. It projects like crazy and the smell will linger in your hair and on your clothing well into the next day or until you wash them. It’s definitely a more mature fragrance and definitely something I would recommend to wear for special occasions and during evening events. It’s probably more of a cooler weather scent, but I live in the UK so I don’t really have an issue with warm weather. Absolutely love this fragrance...10/10 for me!

I can’t really discern any specific notes—nothing stands out individually—but the blend is seamless and beautifully crafted. As far as vibes go, this is utterly captivating, exuding elegance, sensuality, and allure. It feels like wearing liquid luxury, wrapping me in an extravagant, unrelenting aura. Go easy on the sprays, because this one makes a bold statement and confidently announces itself! This also has a transformative effect, pulling me towards a desire to dress my best and embrace a world of glamour and decadence.

I’m not advanced in using poetry or speaking of fragrances. I just know what I like. I love this fragrance. I blindly bought a 30 mil and as we know, everybody smells things differently it reminded me of velvet orchid by Tom Ford. It doesn’t smell like that, but it really reminds me of it. Much more smoother and rounder my point is I bought a 30 mil and I loved it so much. I immediately bought the 75 mil it’s gorgeous. This is a very loud fragrance.. which may add to why I love it. I’m a 80s powerhouse Perfume Fan.

Yes I’m well aware that this is a “fragrance for women”. Once I smelled queen of silk? I knew I had to have it for myself . From the opening to the dry down, this definitely can be unisex in my opinion. The oud, passion fruit , saffron, tuberose, cedarwood and osmanthus ALL are notes I picked up. Which is crazy . Very nice, well balanced scent . Great for fall/winter nights but can be worn in the day time too. Will be a go to for me in colder nights in the upcoming season . Rating 9.2/10
