Spring Flower

The first bottle of perfume that makes me know about the brand of Creed is spring flower and the reason why I am paying attention to it is solely because it was the scent designed for Audurey Hepburn, whom I am a big fan of. I love her beauty. I love her elegance. I love her kindness. I love her cleverness. I love her determined character. I love every part of her and she is definitely my favourite role model. This is why I want to try spring flower in the very beginning when I was searching for new fragrances. Well, when I fist smelled it, I can say I disliked it and even hated it a bit because it did not smell good to me and thus I was very disappointed. But, yes but, when I just left it for a while and took the time to smell other Creed fragrances collection, in which I have some all time favourites now, it smelt surprisingly and appallingly good that I couldn't held but kept smelling the scent from my wrist like a fool after I left the counter and was walking on the street. To me, it is both floral and fruity as sometimes you think the floral side is heavier while sometimes you can smell more fruity notes in the scent. However it is not just so simple as an ordinary floral or fruity scents that always smell powdery or overly sweet that disgust me a lot. Dare I say that floral and/or fruity scents are the most basic and commonplace scents in the perfumery world. Almost every brand starts with one and almost all of them have some of their signature scents or best-sellers in floral and fruity scents. From that you can see, it is basic, but it is not simple. Although spring flower is a floral and fruity scent that cannot be more ordinary and typical, Creed has the magical power to transform it from ordinary to extraordinary, from typical to unique. This is why Creed is Creed. The scent seems very simple when you only have a few brief sniffs, nonetheless it turned out to be very complicated when you get a deep breathe of it. It smells so nice. And the name spring flower matches the scent so much that you can imagine flowers blossom freely in grasslands and mountains and stretch their bodies in spring when your nose catch the smell. It undoubtedly depicts the general image that we all have for Audrey Hepburn as a beautiful, elegant, decent and aristocratic woman, but at the same time pretty,cute, smart and pert. I love this fragrance as much as I love Audrey Hepburn. Point to bare in mind is that you must leave the scent for some time to let it settle either on the test paper or on your skin because its head notes may be a bit too sharp or not so popular with everyone, the problem which most of the perfumes of Creed have. Just let it head notes evaporate and pass. Then when it comes to the heart notes and base notes which are very well blended, you will start to feel and fall for its charm. If you just ignore the perfumes and put it into blacklist when you catch the head notes and dislike it, it would be a pity that you will miss many good fragrances of this brand, exactly the same with what I did in the past. Luckily I gave it a second chance. It seems that I always have a stage of really disliking the perfumes with those of Creed's which later turned out to be some of my favourites. Another example is love in white and love in black, and also gardenia and royal mayfair. So smell it after spray, then wait for some time and smell it again. You will find a scent quite different and I am sure you will find your love in such a big collection of fragrances.

Update: Sept. 7, 2022 - I bought a small sample of this, have been trying it time to time. Oh my, I caught a whiff of the dry down to this --- and it is simply OTHER WORLDLY -- Truly Divine! This was not a love at first spray for me, but an acquired taste. The sharp tartness of the fruity notes in this are very bright, but refreshing...hidden under that layer - is the most gorgeous blend of "SPRING FLOWERS"! Just Gorgeous! ------------ I first tried this at Nordstoms, a lady in the perfume department handed me a card of this. This smells amazingly fresh and like a light floral on the paper strip. I ordered a sample to explore this further - and this perfume has a strong citrus lemon opening through the first 5-10 minutes of wear. This is fresh, clean (similar vibe to what I remember Light Blue by Dolce & Gabanna smelling like - only slightly more floral). After the first hour of wear, with my chemistry, there is a slight hint of mint that is shining through the perfume, this is unexpected - but very nice. I like mint in perfumes (but this can be tedious, you don't want to have a mint that takes over where a perfume begins to smell like toothpaste or mouthwash), the level of mint in this - is PERFECT! This was Audrey Hepburns signature perfume. I can see why she would like this one. The freshness of this perfume seems ahead of its time. This would have been a very modern perfume for her to have chosen at the time. This has a youthful, casual, spring-time type vibe to it. I can see why she would have gravitated towards this. It is truly lovely. The general vibe with this - is clean, bright, fresh, happy. There is a sense of optimism with this that is really a mood enhancing quality. I really love this perfume! This is very nice! ------------- Escada's Joyful is almost an identical dupe the first hour of wear. However, the original surpasses the longevity of Joyful. Both are so similar in the first hour of wear that you can't really tell them apart. I have not timed the exact longevity, but you would definitely need to constantly respritz Joyful to achieve the same length of wear as Creed's Spring Flower. I'm sampling this beside Dolce & Gabanna's L'Imperatrice 3. They are very similar, same general chord, but the notes of L'Imperatrice 3 are more airy, the notes in L'Imperatrice 3 lean slightly more fruity, I can smell the crisp grapefruit notes opening up more in L'I 3 the first 5-10 minutes of wear. (Unfortunately, L'Imperatrice 3's performance is about 2 hours on my skin; this does not have the longevity of a signature perfume, but is great while sampling). Spring Flower's notes are more tightly compact and leans slightly more floral, this registers as if you are smelling the entire chord, and not the individual notes so much. It would take an expert nose to tell these two apart and would probably have to be done in a side by side comparison on the skin or a paper strip. (These are so similar that it would be difficult to tell them apart, if you just smelled this without a direct comparison). Even an hour into the wear of both perfume samples, they are both taking on a hint of mint...which is really nice, very refreshing. The mint is not dominating the perfumes - it is enhancing the fresh quality of the perfumes. I'm still testing the longevity of this perfume. So far, so good. I love both of these perfumes. They both are great spring/summer type perfumes particularly if you like the sweet/sour dynamic.

Sure, give this perfume away because of it's animalic ambergris endnote... but know that animalic notes is what turns people on... yep, I bet your boyfriend likes your natural animalic human smell and so do you! Of course if we are to smell those on their own they don't smell good like syrup synthetic vanilla...there's a reason us humans and animals don't smell like candy ! and also a reason I find animalic notes play a little magic. Quoting from an article "Among the experts, animalic notes take the prize as sexiest of all for the “dirtiness” they can add to a fragrance. “Animalic notes are the impolite smells of the human body and animals—think the hairier regions of the body,” says Aftel. “People find those sexy, and have throughout history, which is part of what draws people to places like the nape of the neck. Those areas bring with them that connection to sexuality and sex itself.” Back to the this fragrace.... Most mass produced fragrances use florals and etc, etc... that smell somewhat synthetic so they are FULLY likeable, because EARTH and anything that comes from it does not smell good! Have you 'really' smelled a Rose? with its nature smelling notes, from the first sniff down to the last note of raw EARTHINESS aromas which are generally not sweet and cute! Yet people buy perfumes that smell like citrusy LEMONS and say, "oh I love this fragrance, smells like lemons!" yet they would NEVER dare walking around smelling like a REAL lemon or walking around smelling like a natural peach.... which by the way has very little smell. How does this perfume smell like? Upon closing my eyes I was immediately transported to a Field of Flowers, Fresh flowers the opening is floral [real flowers not synthetic] and due to that it also has a very upscale, clean, crisp, elegant smell [as nature does] not your sweet, fake, synthetic cheap florals like in FlowerBomb Then the following image I got is that it must be daytime around 5-7am... because those flowers smell ozonic... you'll smell water... as if those flowers had water over them due to rain... you know that smell of nature after rain? That's what I get, a crisp, not bouquet but being in a field of flowers with the smell of wet rain early morning So the opening is fresh flowers, bright, elegant, crisp then turns into an airy, ozonic watery smell, still maintaining a very likeable floral smell then dies down into what smells like earth, like wet dirt, it does not smell bad at all, it just smells "different" [ambergris is not commonly used] have you ever smelled wet grass? wet grass early morning or even the dirt within the grass, is not a bad smell, it's a very earthy raw smell surrounded by the smell of fresh young flowers... all blended together so that it's also wearable and pretty. Hopefully that helps people experience this masterpiece as it should [and appreciate it], not with their idea of fake synthetics for a tinder date.

I remember getting this back in the day in my college days before all the watered down reformulations or whatever happened, it was really unique and expensive aquatic floral fruity smelling perfume. I was in love but couldn't afford it after I finished the gifted bottle I had. I had no idea that I was spraying such an expensive perfume at the time because I had never seen Creed perfumes at that time in my life. This gave me whiffs of spring flowery perfume here and there as I moved through the day and people used to stop me and asked what I was wearing. Lucky for me, the new released Curious replaced this and I found a new love I could buy (that one is also watered down now too). I bought a bottle from Nordstrom passing through one day and I knew that the reviews said it was watered down and doesn't last but I said to myself that maybe they got bad batches, or bought fake by accident, or something went wrong but if I buy direct from the stores with excellent reputations for their perfumes then I should be okay. I thought that perhaps I can relive those days, but nope. The perfume lasted one hour maybe, nobody could smell it on me, seemed much more synthetic than before. Not that it wasn't nice, because it was for 30min to an hour. I would have thought I was given a fake but I know it wasn't. So many of the perfumes from before that a broke college kid would shell out hard earned money for, such as Curious, J'adore, or even are just not the same. This was how it seems for me at least. I used up the 400 dollar bottle like a 10 dollar body spray in no time carrying it everywhere I went. I could never justify a repurchase. I guess I am always chasing these light, breezy, fresh, ethereal, watery, shining rose/floral perfumes and want others to softly smell the beauty here and there as I do but anything from my memory that was similar to this or Curious, are just watered down fleeting dreams that cost too much for a few minutes of memories. I am okay with things being re-done for sustainability and ethics but I wish they could find a way to get these perfumes back to their original smell and make them to last longer, I will keep dreaming but at least I have the memories.

💐My Thoughts: Personally I love the smell of peach. And when I sprayed this Perfume I immediately detected the peach in it. Later I detected the melon and the apple. Because of the melon this fragrance has hints of aquatic vibes to it. I really enjoyed the fresh uplifting fruitiness of this fragrance.The jasmine in this fragrance is really fresh and not overpowering. It's fresh and kind of watery maybe because of the presence of melon. The rose comes into play later. Again, the rose is soft and fresh. I can detect the musk on the drydown. The ambergris is hardly noticeable. To my nose this fragrance is more fruity than floral. It's fresh, feminine and alluring. It's easy to wear and it's worthy of being a signature scent. It doesn't smell dated or common. If you love floral fruity scents this fragrance will bring a smile to your face. It's kind of romantic and elegant. It's sophisticated yet sensual. And yes it's worthy for blind buying if you're looking for a romantic floral fruity scent. It is said that this Perfume was specially and exclusively designed for popular actress Audrey Hepburn. And it was marketed only after her death. It's a beautiful fresh fruity floral scent. 💐7+ hours on skin,lasts longer on clothes. Performs better in warm weather. 💐For first 3 hours within a hands distance. You'll leave a scent trail whenever the air touches you. Even after 7 hours if someone gives you a hug they'll smell the perfume on you. But performance mostly depends on body chemistry. My sister got better longevity and projection from this Perfume than me. 💐It's perfect for all year round specially for the weather of our country. But it performs better during warmer weather from my experience. 💐If you're planning to buy a creed fragrance and you personally love floral fruity Perfumes you must give this Perfume a try. It's beautiful and I highly recommend getting this. I love the bottle as well. 💗

I call this fragrance "Arrogant flowers" think of a flower that is so beautiful, but also very sophisticated that's almost "arrogant". And this combination makes the flower that much more attractive and mysterious. If the flowers were a woman, Spring Flowers is a super femenine, young, sophisticated and INDEPENDENT woman with a touch of mystery. The only other fragrance I have used and works well with my chemistry was surprisingly Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel. But I was in search for a new fragrance, my requirements are that it must be fresh, floral with a hint of "abstraction". I dislike the florals or fruity fragrances made for the general public, they are usually too sweet, too girly and almost annoying. I have searched all of the fragrances in Sephora and Macys but of course! it had to be inside Neiman Marcus and by Creed! There it was that pink bottle I thought to myself that fragrance must be floral, but because the bottle its so pink I thought, it better not be annoyingly sweet, or smell like bubble gum candle. Of course NOT!!! and I think perhaps that "bad smell" people are complaining about is EXACTLY what I loved!! No, it definitely does NOT smell like poo or urine!!! ridiculous. It smells like REAL FLOWERS. Real flowers smell pretty but also have a twist of earthy smells that are difficult to describe, sort of musky/tangerine like. I love the combination this adds, as it makes the fragrance very sophisticated, clean and crisp. Very mysterious! and I bet all those people complaining keep smelling it over and over trying to describe it all, because at the end this fragrance does that! it's arrogant, it is seductive and one is simply attracted to it, for good or bad.

Spring Flower is a lovely, youthful fragrance. An uplifting fruity floral, it smells like a big fruit basket full of fresh peaches and apricots, apples, pears and melons. The opening is very juicy, refreshing, loaded with citrusy accords; but this scent really mellows out with time. After a while, the floral drydown reveals the soft, sweet and slightly musky side of Spring Flower, with a well balanced duo of romantic rose and jasmine. All the notes in the composition are perfectly blended, and it's quite difficult to tell them apart. Spring Flower smells true and natural, and really delivers the quality you can expect from a brand like Creed. The projection is wonderful, and so is the longevity – up to eight hours on skin, and more than twelve on clothes. I guess the price aspect has to be addressed here (although I normally like to avoid it)... I was lucky enough to get this on an amazing deal, but I don't think I'd purchase it for the full price. Whilst this is a truly lovely, charming, high quality scent, I'm not sure whether the astronomical price tag is justified. I want to say yes, because the quality of this perfume really is top-notch, but I can completely see how, for this price, people have a right to expect something more unique. But then again, as we all know, fragrance is all just a matter of opinion. Some might find that Spring Flower really is the best there is, and if they do – that's fantastic. Personally, I am extremely pleased with this, and I think of it as a beautiful addition to my collection. I will treasure this, but it will probably be my only Creed purchase, at least for a very long time. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

I got a tester in a department store, where I was intrigued by this smell as a salesperson showed it to me. At that time, smelling it on a a paper tester, I thought it was a fun and crisp perfume, but not extremely special or unique. It smelled fruity-floral and very fresh. However, as I now tried it on my skin, it is so much more complex and interesting to me. I am falling in love with it despite the already stated by everyone here longevity issues. To me, I'd rather avoid harsh carcinogens used in most modern perfumes, and have to re-spray myself than have a strong longevity full of synthetics. In terms of the notes, on my clothes it smells extremely citrusy, mostly just fruity with some hints of the florals. However, on my skin jasmine with rose mixed it, constantly compete with the fresh and crisp apple. Perhaps, it is also the melon that transforms a more typical citrusy smell. In other words, Spring Flower on my skin is both fruity and floral, starting out with a crisp apple-sweet melon blend AND very competitive jasmine-rose mix. After a couple of minutes the crispiness goes away, leaving only sweetness (but not the vanilla type) and a really feminine feel to it. The dry down is musky and comfortable. If it was more affordable, I would not think twice and get Spring Flower asap. It is a perfect fragrance for a young lady in her 20-30's, who likes feminine yet unique perfumes or a more mature lady who wants to feel fresh and youthful.

I adore this scent. I’ll note that the initial spray smells a little bit like sunscreen to some. The first time I applied it around one of my friends he assumed I was spraying sunscreen onto myself. While I wouldn’t go that far, I would agree with it partially. It smells like a spray of somebody’s “fresh” scented sunscreen in your backyard, with pretty heavy green notes. Despite the harsh initial spray, the dry down is floral and almost juicy. I get a lot of grapefruit and melon in the beginning, and the jasmine is so light and airy and compliments the fruits so well. It smells like you’ve walked into an orchard to me. Creed is a very unique perfume house and every scent from them smells different, and this one is definitely not an exception. The combination of notes in this perfume stands out and doesn’t smell anything like other brands I’ve tried out. It’s sophisticated and different while still capturing the bright and summery feeling of a floral perfume. After a few hours of wearing it, I have noticed that the dry down leans more towards the woody and musky notes, and almost a little soapy as well. I still think it smells good. I don’t think it’s one that most people would like, and it’s definitely one that everyone should smell before they buy. Either way I love it and it’s my favorite summer scent to go out with.

Today is my loves birthday and this is the perfume I bought her. It's just SO good. It smells like the name on the bottle. Spring and flowers. It's really amazing how creed is able to capture a whole season in a bottle but they do it here. Light, flirtatious, sophisticated in the top and creamy in the dry down. The comment below me is accurate in that their is a salty component to the dry down. Imagine smelling a bouquet of fresh flowers while sitting on a bench by the sea on a cool morning. It's one present that is good for her, and everyone around her. Scent 10/10....maybe my all time favorite woman's perfume. Projection 6/10...doesn't go far Fortitude 10/10...contradictory to many reviews here, I could still faintly smell one spray on my wrist after 24 hours even WITH a shower. You can't ask for better longevity in my opinion I've smelled a lot from the house of creed and one thing can be said of them....they use class ingredients and blend to perfection. This one is tops of their repertoire in my opinion along with Bois d Portugal and one or two others...

I have a very vintage version of this one in the old rectangular bottle. It’s very nice and long lasting. This perfume is unique in that when you first spray it on it seems weak but wait, it gets stronger and stronger and all the notes come alive. I really lucked out to find a vintage bottle. It wasn’t full, about 90% but I got it for a great price. I wouldn’t buy anything Creed released after 2019. I do however have a few vintage Creeds. A friend even sold me 15ml of his 2016 Aventus bottle batch. I also have decants from 2017 and 2018. That’s enough Aventus for me. I’m not all that crazy about it like some ppl are, i do like it, it’s nice but there are better alternatives imho. And there are some pretty amazing dupes of every batch of Aventus. I was impressed by Parfums Vintage dupes of Aventus. I have a bottle of their Amber Absolute dupe and loved it so much that I wanted to buy a back up bottle but too late, it keeps selling out fast. What does that tell ya? They’re amazing.

Time to break out the summer bouquets, Creed's Spring Flower is beckoning me today. This is truly a beautiful fruity bouquet. So a spritz on the wrists is cantaloupe and peaches with a kiss of jasmine. Shuffling around the kitchen, the aromas on my wrist are very similar to the fruitbowl on the counter. I remember a favorite Marx Brothers movie, "A Day At The Races", and I'm giggling "Fruitsy Tootsie" while huffing my wrists. I think Chico Marx would approve. ;-D Twenty minutes later the apple and rose greet my nose and what's not to love? Perfect fume to have you smiling through a Monday. Yes this is a lovely composition, but isn't it perfect that it can make you giggle and enjoy a Monday? Every time I reach for it from now on will be "Fruitsy Tootsie" in my mind. The fruits and flowers in this one are perfectly balanced. Seriously a gorgeous perfume. The melon doesn't smell like Calone, nor does the green apple smell like shampoo. The rose and jasmine also aren't heady or classic smelling; merely a whisper of a rose and jasmine flower, sprinkled with cool spring rain. Realistic flowers and fruit. Aquatic, fresh, and I never seem to be able to pick out any one note in the fragrance at a time. I have the impression of aldehydes as well because of this, - it must be dosed quite lightly at least. Spring Flower is pretty, cool, subtle and sweet, with a touch of vintage flair. Could be worn by any age and gender, and not offensive at all. It makes me smile everytime

This is one of my absolute favorite perfumes. There's something so unbelievably beautiful about it to me. It's not for everyone but it makes me so happy. In my eyes, it's very similar to Bright Crystal by Versace! But it's Bright Crystal's elevated older sister. This perfume makes me so happy from the bottle, packaging, it's story, the scent itself, lasting power, silage, etc. I plan to wear this one on my wedding day. I find it bridal but some people may not. It's geared towards spring but like many fresh fragrances, I like them every once in a while in the winter. Spring Flower is for the girls who loved BBW Sweet Pea as a kid. 12/10 in my eyes!

In my honest opinion, there is no more classy, feminine and demurely sexy scent than Creed's Spring Flower. It is soft, it whispers sensuality while displaying frivolity and fun. It reminds me of the sunshine while after a rainstorm lingers in the corners of my mind. It is sweet without being sugary and feminine without being girly. The female who wears this is all woman. I too love Audrey Hepburn, who is the film icon that this perfume was made for. I was named after her movie Sabrina by my mom who loved her also. Having this perfume is like having a little bit of elegance in a bottle. It will remain one of my true favorites.

This perfume wakes me up in the morning. It is tart and floral. I honestly do smell the manure in this which was a little weird at first but I think it makes the perfume what it is. Good for summer, daytime... It lasts a long time on the skin. I can smell it as I take a shower at night as the oil reactivates with the warm water. I get Kentucky Derby, big sun hat. Refined and poised with a hint of perky. A lemon drop martini in one hand and a beautiful clutch handbag in the other. I would not blind buy this as you really need to see if the animalic notes in this go with your personal taste and chemistry.

Ohh how I love this! The juicier, crisper cousin to love in white. None of the heady thick white flowers-just a clean crisp bouquet misty with dew. A very cool feeling scent as others have noted. I don’t smell the fruit on me; it just balances the flowers to keep them light. I love amber and have no issue with animalistic notes but get none of those here. Trying a sample purchased from creed 12/21 so perhaps the juice is different now. Whatever the case—give this a shot if you are looking for a crisp clean floral that does not smell generic or synthetic!

I'll start by saying that this is the most sophisticated fruity/floral scent I have ever smelled (its not similar in any way but I guess I could say the same also about Issey Miyake l'eau de iseey if it wasnt as popular as it is) it's like floral on top with some fruity scent but deep down after it dries comes the kick. It's like something aquatic slighly bitter that contrast the flowers its not all happiness and sunshine its like a grown up serious floral not a girly birthday party. to me it's amazing.

Promptly returned after receiving in the mail :( I was sooooo excited, and even recalled loving the sample. I'm not sure what happened.. Synthetic, synthetic, synthetic.. that's all I gathered from my experience with this fragrance. Nothing playful or bright, just cloth flowers sprayed with some sort of citrus-melon infused floral air freshener. Really want to test the other creeds and see how they react with my chemistry -- maybe we're just not made for each other :'(

Fresh, ozonic, light, sweet, juicy, and happy, with a rich floral blend. A flower shop in a bottle. Perfect. The best Creed I've smelled yet, and I've tried to imagine another perfume I know that smells anywhere close to this. I can't. I also can't imagine some of the other reviewers and I are smelling the same perfume unless Creed has very poor quality control...but I don't think that's it. Anyhow, this is full bottle worthy for me without a doubt.

There is too many simillar fragrances like this on the market, but Spring Flower is really special for me, and it's my personal favorite scent from the entire Creed house. I love to wear it by myself during the hot summer days. I feel just a bit more femine than Erolfa. Fits the theme very well, it smells like flower shop, bright, juicy, watery, refreshing and briny, boosted with lot of ambroxan in the base. Thanks Bourdon for this masterpiece.

This is SO pretty! I’ll definitely be buying this after sampling it. It’s very fresh in an early 00’s perfume kind of way, but more refined and demure. Tart, juicy apples, sweet light florals. It’s summery and uplifting. It’s darling. It’s youthful. The more I smell this on my skin, I get that melon note that really reminds me of the OG formulation of Happy Heart, which was my absolute favorite before the reformulation. I love!

So I found out this perfume was worn by Lana Del Rey and of course I had to test it. I went to Dillards and audibly gasped when I smelled it for the first time. It’s soft, fresh, and sweet. Upon first spray you can really smell the juicy fruit and it’s softly sweet, but on dry down it’s a dewy rose. It does have quite an intimate sillage, but lasts a full 8 hour work shift for me. It has quickly become my signature scent!

This is exactly the scent that you must to have it all the time in your wardrobe Apple in perfume! !no ..l disliked because of Donna karan be delicious, it was bad experience. . But apple and peach in Creed very nice they really know how to make them great in fragrance. I buy it for my beautiful friend ..she doesn't like the fruity perfume but she loves this so much It is the gift that no one will complain about it.

This perfume is really great especially when it is applied to the skin of my girlfriend. My girlfriend really like it, she can't stop smelling herself and this make me so happy. It is amazing perfume that can contain very sweet and fresh scent in the same bottle. "Spring flower" reminds me of walking through the flower garden and I think this scent is suit for every occasion. Really love it.

It was my signature scent for a summer, I receive a lot of compliments from guys when i wear it. The peach is very strong. It feels like walking in a fruit garden, it is very fresh in the beginning which makes me happy. Dries down in a green apple scent. But the longevity is poor and there are a lot of better options with a better price.

I really enjoy this ! I received a small sample. It smells like real flowers or reminds me of running through fields or being outside like when I little. The staying power isn’t great but it smells so good and pure and clean. Not a good blind buy at the price but one I wish I had a bigger bottle of ! So yummy!

I recently re-tested Spring Flower and think it has been reformulated since I first experienced it some 15 years ago. Spring Flower has lost everything I liked about it years ago, and from recent reviews here it seems that there's a common unpleasant note that's been added. Destruction of another classic.

This is an extraordinary parfum. The fruits and flowers are an irresistible association. The melon and apple seem to be the standouts for me with a reserved flower backing to layer out this amazing composition. A refreshing and sophisticated scent that makes me feel happy! Can't wait for spring!!

Wow, I love this. It's so fun and fruity. I get the melon and peach opening, and , it's beautiful. It's a Creed fragrance, and the House is ridiculously overpriced. However, if you can get a sample, and you love a fruity-floral, it's worth a shot.

The melon, the peach, the jasmine, rose, and musk... it's beautiful! Light, refreshing, delicate, and so incredibly "feminine." I would bathe in this if I could afford it!

The dry down of this smells like Bright Crystal Absolu on my skin. I do not smell poo lol.

I adored Spring Flower as a teenager. I used to spray the pink tester bottle liberally whenever I found myself in a fancy department store. I first heard of it when I read that it was Audrey Hepburn's signature scent, which is what initially drew me in. (Disclaimer: I never liked the hideous bottle, having given up on all things pink as a pre-teen.) I was delighted when I discovered (years later) that it was also the perfume of choice for Lana Del Rey - a singer I have admired for years. The scent itself is a high-quality floral-fruity, one of the better offerings of its genre. Sweet and feminine, it has mass appeal, but manages to be a cut above the sugary scents that populate department stores and pharmacies the world over. Fairly straightforward, it benefits from good quality, realistic-smelling ingredients and a simple, classic composition that works. SF opens with a juicy fruit accord that manages to be both sweet and fresh - akin to the real thing. Crisp apple is initially most evident, with sweet, juicy peach trailing behind. Sweet rose blooms early on, creating the floral-fruity accord that forms the crux of this scent. Melon emerges later, adding aquatic freshness. I don't always like melon notes in perfume, but it works so well here alongside the other notes. Some clean, sweet jasmine rounds out the floral accord, adding a heady white floral component to SF. The florals become softly powdery as they develop, with a nice muskiness softening the edges as it dries down. There isn't much amber here to my nose, just a slight animalic, salty hint in the background, but is barely there. Sillage is moderate-to-strong - a little goes a long way - and longevity is moderate. Well-blended and beautifully balanced throughout, SF is a natural-smelling, yet sweetly feminine floral-fruity. Cute but high-quality, it manages to be ageless. Nice spring/summer daytime scent. Sweet femininity done right. 4/5.

I really wanted to love this as I'm a big fan of love in white, aqua fiorentina and virgin island water, but it just doesn't work for me. I've ordered a 75ml bottle and I'm not sure what's going on, but the perfume smells "off"!? The top notes smell like rancid orchard fruit, no melon, no freshness. The opening is piercing sharp champagne & musk at its best and overripe, almost mouldy, fruits, apples in particular, at its worst. After the initial olfactory shock it get better, the "off" smell fades and the fragrance becomes more pleasant and fruity-airy. It's so weird that the musk note I detect (ambergris supposedly) is most prominent in the opening, when in fact it's suppose to be the base!? Maybe my bottle is old, maybe it's my skin, no clue, but I'll stick to my other creeds. Update: Turns out that my bottle was off. I've got a new one now and gone the rancid orchard fruit smell. I can clearly detect the melon in the opening and I get the freshness many others have described. It's a very pretty perfume, but it doesn't last near as long as my other Creeds. For the price i'm sure you could find a similar fruity-fresh scent for a much lower price, if that's what you're after.

I love the sprayer, Creed does a good sprayer. The fragrance is really nice too :) Pretty breezy spring florals with cool watery fruits, I would say this is a true Fruity Floral, the type which had taken over the market from the late 90's until about 5 or a little more years ago. But it's more like the first ones that came out, like the Escada Tropical Punch but made with higher quality ingredients. The airy florals with the cool, slightly tart flowers were my type of perfume so this floats my boat. Unlike the thick sweet fruity florals they all came out with later (or what Ecsada turned into). I'm not sure if it's worth the price though, I got my bottle on major discount. I guess I would consider it again just because they don't make fruity florals like that anymore. If you can find a bottle of Escada Tropical Punch it would probably go for more then the Creed hahaha

Spring Flower is a beautiful light floral with just the right amount of sweetness from the fruity notes. I personally find that plain floral scents can be boring and one dimensional so the fruit really gives it an interesting depth. The crisp fresh apple in the opening gives just the right amount of dimension to really let the jasmine and rose shine through in their own right. Dry down is a gorgeous natural rose with light jasmine, peach underneath and a light musk undertone. A great light and natural floral-fruit scent leaning more floral. Sillage is high, lasting power 6-8 hours. It's not truly memorable so I don't think it's full bottle worthy for the price, but definitely worth having a decant amount to have in your collection as it's still a very solid, beautiful and high quality spring fragrance.

I had such high hopes for this fragrance! I mean, first off, it was created for Audrey Hepburn whom I adore, so naturally I wanted this to be my signature scent as well. And it's by Creed, a perfume house that oozes class, quality, and sophistication. However, to be honest, and my own honesty made me cry a little...this smells like every other fruity floral scent you could find at any Bath & Body store! Smells like a cheap drug-store fruity floral. Don't get me wrong, it's a pleasant and cheerful scent, but for the astronomical price tag, it is definitely not worth it....even though it was created for an icon! And to break my heart even more, it's poor longevity and weak sillage is hugely dissapointing for such a high-class perfume!

Scored a bottle with my Mercari balance and based on the Lot code- seems to be authentic from 2019. This was more my sister’s scent in 2000- neither of us teenagers could afford a full bottle back then but she scooped up heaps of Spring Flower samples at Barney’s. I was coming out of my Cool Water Woman high school years and entering my Coco Mademoiselle college era but feminine aquatics were huge in the 90’s and this is more of a nostalgia purchase. I’d be impressed if Lana really does use this- it implies she too has memories of this being a thing with chic girls in NYC in 2000. Maybe this type of scent seems dated to younger people but that’s why fragrance collecting is so fun. They’re like portals to a different time.

This is fruity, not too sweet and very nicely done. I guess they made it for Audrey Hepburn. Totally different woman than Katherine Hepburn. Both very wonderful actresses, but on polar opposites. While I want to love this, I can't. I have tried and tried. I bought myself a bottle, but am letting it go. I love too many Guerlain and Hilde. I'm not getting any of the love affair with any Creed. I think I might just stay away from this line all together, I think this is the 3rd or 4th one I have tried and they smell pretty in the bottle or spritzed in the air, but on me.....they just don't want to play at all. Very pretty bottle, pink. Love in White was a loser on me also, and Love in Black, and one other.

Not everyone will love this. It's extremely floral and rosy. I smell more floral notes than any of the fruit notes. Some people are describing the scent as fresh, aquatic and fruity but for me it's pure florals. It's very vintage smelling, I'm in my early twenties but still really like it. However, it can almost sort of have a heavy "grandma" floral smell to it that I'm sure will turn some off. I find the smell really nice and more vintage/timeless than old lady. If you want a true floral scent check this out. I think it works really well for me and gives a little bit of sophistication to me as a woman in my early twenties. Definitely a favorite of mine during the spring. 8.5/10

Thankfully this does not smell like urine on my skin but instead a cold spring day, where you wonder if the trees will still produce fruit in the summer or if their fragrant flowers froze. Very pleasant scent but nothing to write home about. The sillage is pathetic though, my friends had to stick their noses to my skin to smell anything, and I could only smell myself for the first 4 hours. Can not justify the price for a full bottle even if I wanted to.

July 2019 COMBO: Creed Spring Flower all over and dabs of L’amour by Lalique at neck, chest and wrists. A floral radiance. I think the Lalique “grounds” the Spring Flowers. Like “flowers laid on the ground. Significant longevity and projection. Daytime. In cool, humid weather or intense sun. Dressy casual on up. Not for the young. Mature, and highbrow. Unique.

This is my favorite Creed perfume for women. It is fruity floral, modern and pleasant. Compared to many designer fruity floral fragrances on the market, this one is not overly sweet. It smells natural, not overwhelming. The name is Spring Flower. But it is certainly a great fragrance for the summer too. I only wish the longevity is better.
