In the aristocratic British tradition of fine brandy and high-quality cigars, this blend is an avant-garde take on a classic favorite. The name “Tabarome” honors the pinch of finest tobacco aroma that gives this fragrance its English club luxury. Warm ginger and seductive sandalwood are rendered robust with the addition of leather to the masculine mix. Tabarome was originally created for a British statesman (presumably Sir Winston Churchill) known for his love of brandy and fine cigars in 1936. It was later launched in the year 2000 for consumers. Impression: This is a unique take on tobacco. It’s not your regular dry roasted tobacco. It is mostly green fresh tobacco leaves. The splash of Mandarin and Bergamot makes it clean and airy. It’s very delicate, bright and elegant. The phases of evolution of the fragrance: It is an extremely nonlinear fragrance which evolves brilliantly over time until it settles down to the tobacco and gingery base. Opening - Opens up with bright Mandarin and fresh green tobacco. The pungent green tobacco leaves are very prominent but the splash of citrus balances it out perfectly. After half an hour - It dries down and the pungent green tobacco leaves begin to mature. The Mandarin subdues and makes way for a dilute lemon juice and a pinch of bergamot. Starts to smell very airy and clean. After one hour - The hour mark hits the moment when it makes the perfect mood for you to pour a glass of your finest scotch. The tobacco note pops out at this moment. After two hours - The final base starts to reveal itself with announcing the presence of a 2-3 sticks of white flowers in a white vase somewhere in the corner of the room. I detect leather in it. But it’s not a fresh leather but worn out leather. A leather bound book, which was gathering dust in the loft. The faint musky undertone starts to bind it all together. The sandalwood becomes detectable as well. And the true colour and the old school Creed DNA pops out with the completion of the evolution. Performance: Longevity: 8-10 hours. For the first 6 hours it is very prominent. After that I get whiffs of it every now and then for 2-3 hours. And then it stays on my skin for quite a long time. On the contrary to the regular belief of a Creed’s performance this one outshines. Projection: The initial blast announces yourself to anyone within a 6 feet distance but very soon it dries down to a warm cozy scent bubble within an arms length. It is not loud but confident. Sillage: Sillage is good but not great. For the first 2-3 hours it’s detectable to an extent. But after that not so much. All in all it’s a classic scent with a modern twist and definitely reminiscent of everything British. It has a typical English vibe to it.

I hope to review my collection including decants over this year. I really want to rexperience and get personal with my collection before I buy something else. So here goes TM. This is a gentleman's fragrance. Think Sherlock Holmes meets the new millenium. It has a retro, classic british feel to it, yet a very modern appeal. It is truly a timeless fragrance. I want to list categories in all of my future reviews so I will do that below. This opens with a fizzy citrus accord or better yet a creamy citrus accord which become a bit fizzy or fuzzy like from ginger and the creamy woody sweetness of the sandlewood. The citrus is there through the duration but is never really sharp or calone like, it is only glazed by the citrus adding the classic pop to the fragrance and giving it a very versatile appeal. About 45 minutes and on the tobacco comes and this is where you get the British Sherlock Holmes type of aromoa. It is quite the natural tobacco and it blends so effortlessly with the sandlewood, citrus and ginger that it really adds a spiciness to the fragrance more than a pure tobacco fragrance. You do sense it but I would think most people couldn't pull it out if they sniffed you (this is a compliment to the fragrance not a knock). I want to add that the tea note could also be provide the fuzziness to the fragrance I think this happens in Ambre Russe and Midnight in Paris. As the fragrance heads into the heart notes the vetiver picks up and the fragrance becomes a bit more spicy fresh.......and then....well you knew it. The classic Creed DNA starts to kick in deep into the heart of the fragrance. Creed's Ambergris and Musk start to amp up and now you have this wonderul musky sweetness which Creed is known for. By the drydown what you have is a just a well blended fragrance. A bit spicy a bit fresh a bit musky and a bit sharp from the ginger/citrus and vetiver. A lovely composition to say the least. I actually think the uniquness of this pushes this to my third favorite of the line up honestly (behind Royal Oud and Aventus maybe 4th behind MI). Longevity - A- about 6 really good hours and 8 overall Projection - A great for why the fragrance was made Sillage - ??? don't know but I think good Verastility - B+ can be worn year around not as casually though (park/heavy activity) better for office or date/dinner wear Age - Mature in my opinion maybe 25+ but never limit this as fragrance is a choice and age only a number.

Tabarome Creed Tabarome was originally created for a British statesman known for his love of brandy and fine cigars. The name "Tabarome" honors the tobacco aroma that gives this fragrance a touch of luxury. The word millesime appears on many CREED fragrance bottles and is a mark of quality. The millesime designation means that the best crops from a particular year’s harvest were used in the creation of that particular bottle of CREED fragrance. The top notes of Tabarome include bergamot and tangerine. The heart includes ginger. Base notes consist of sandalwood, patchouli, ambergris, tobacco and leather. Thoughts... Tabarome is a nice warm musculine scent for a matured man, probably 40s and older, not because it's dated or old or smells bad Tabarome was created for such a Musculine profile, after all Churchill wore the vintage versions of Tabarome which was originally created in 1875. It suits anyone who fancy boozes, tobacco and leathers, warm scents. I acquired a bottle of Tabarome tester at a good price of 186Sgd/127Euro/136usd recently. It was the old formulation, 2015/08, C3815001. The newer batches after that i believe is reformulated so I can't comment on them. However Tabarome should be discontinued so it becomes a collection. It opens rather soft with tangerine 🍊 Bergamot and ginger all there, well blended because I couldn't decide which notes standout. At around 15-20 minutes or so, the ambergris starts to get into my nosing, the 5 base notes are also well blended, I feel I get the tobacco and leather too but the ambergris seems louder. Tabarome is a soft scent for the wearer to enjoy and anyone near you or within a feet perhaps. It doesn't have good projection but I feel Silage is average and it's kinda airy around the wearer. Longevity based on the strength of the scent now with numbers of sprays I put in I reckon I'm looking at 4-8 hours but it's still not that intimate a skin scent now compared to some Creed juices. If you want to look at something similar, I feel Aramis Havana has a similar opening while Herrera For Men and Vera Wang for Men has similar drydown, CH for Men is more aromatic and Vera Wang is spicer. Tabarom is a semi herbal perfume. Herbal intensity isn’t too much like green parfumes, At the same time, you can detect herbal sense in background. In top note step, You can detect tangerine scent with a little sour background. Perhaps this sourness is due to tangerin first products, or bergamot. I don’t know which one it is... In pyramid notes, it is hinted to ginger and tobacco, but in my opinion, an accord of these two material is in perfume. If you are fan of tobacco note, you will be disappointed after testing this perfume. Tabarom isn’t tobacco base at all. Tabarom is a perfume that doesn’t have specific scent that is in most of other Creed perfumes. I named it Creed signature. (Most of Creed perfumes have a specific scent in middle notes, creamy and semi sweet) تاباروم یه عطر نیمه گیاهی از برند کرید هست. شدت گیاهی بودن این عطر خیلی زیاد مثل عطرهای گرین نیست؛ ولی در عین حال با بو کردن عطر یه حس منشا گیاهی رو هم قطعا متوجه خواهید شد. در مرحله ی تاپ نت بوی نارنگی ابداری رو متوجه میشید. بوی مربوطه یکم به ترشی میزنه و در واقع یک نارنگی ترش هست که هنوز کامل نرسیده. شاید هم این ترشی مربوطه در عطر نارنگی مربوط به میوه ی ترنج باشه. در هر حال ترکیب جالبی رو در مرحله نت ابتدایی ایجاد کرده. در نتهای عطر به زنجبیل و توتون اشاره شده. ولی رد خیلی محسوس و واضحی از این دو ماده رو تجربه نخواهید کرد. دوستداران عطرهای تنباکویی صرف اگه این عطر رو به هوای اینکه عطری تنباکویی هست تست کنند؛ قطعا پشیمون خواهند شد. چون از اون بوی خاص توتون در اینجا خبری نیست و اصلا نمیشه عطر تاباروم رو عطری تنباکویی صرف دانست. بوی عطر در مرحله ی نتهای میانی شامل آکوردی از زنجبیل و تنباکوست. در واقع کاملا میکس و ترکیب شده هست و با تفکیک زیاد قابل شناسایی نیست عطر تاباروم از معدود عطرهای برند کرید هست که از اون بوی خاص امضا مانندی که در اکثر عطرهای این برند وجود داره؛ خبری نیست و نتهای میانی عطر برعکس مرحله ی نتهای ابتدایی یکم ملایمتر و ضعیفتر هستند.

Creed Tabarome Millésime I genuinely think this fragrance is criminally misunderstood. For some reason, people love to slag off anything that isn’t “nuclear strength,” as if it’s some sort of baseline requirement for a scent. If it doesn’t burn your nostrils and last until next Tuesday, it’s immediately labelled “weak,” “overpriced,” or “pointless.” And fair enough , if you’re saving up for that one special bottle to wear every day until the end of time, this probably isn’t the one to gamble on. But me? I absolutely love it. People moan about performance, claiming it’s gone after 30 minutes. I honestly think that’s because most of us have been conditioned by the current wave of super-synthetic designer powerhouses ,2-3-note monsters designed to smack you in the face the moment you spray them. Compared to those, Tabarome feels almost polite... but that’s precisely why it’s brilliant. The opening is very “typical Creed” a bit loud, a bit posh citrus and ginger bomb , and if it stayed that way the whole time, I’d probably get bored. But after about 10–30 minutes, it melts into something genuinely elegant. People call it a “skin scent,” but I don’t agree. It’s more like an invisible aura , you don’t notice it until you move, or a breeze catches you, and then it shimmers around you like a quiet illusion. And yeah, I’ve had compliments 8–10 hours after spraying it. Even at the gym, after work, when it mixes with a bit of sweat (don’t judge me), it just works. It’s got that effortless, old-money, quietly confident vibe. So yeah t’s subtle, sophisticated, and definitely not for everyone. Which, frankly, I’m fine with. The last thing I want is another Aventus situation where everyone and their dog smells the same. So actually... yeah, don’t buy it 😂 More for me.

Today we turn our attention to Creed's turn of the 20th century offering Tabarome. As the name indicates, this is a tobacco forward offering that has a nice fresh twist not just from the citrusy opening of tangerine and bergamot but from the choice of the tobacco itself. With the choices available over this type of fragrance , Olivier Creed has chosen fresh tobacco leaf over the more pungent dry leaves or the smoky bitterness of tobacco ashes. This choice is ultimately suited to the composition of Tabarome, which lends itself to a calm, composed, refined, matured, confident and elegant classic gentlemanly wear. All of which alludes to the often told tale that an earlier iteration of this fragrance was the favourite of Churchill, which is unfortunately not true. Tabarome is admittedly not one that would easily enamour young noses - for that D&G's One line, particularly the EDP concentration would do a far better job. And for more mature noses looking for a more realistic tobacco, would do better with Aramis's Havana. But for more character and refinement which grows fonder on the wearer from more wearings, Tabarome is a perfect choice. Sillage or trail is laughably bad but that's expected given that the composition of the fragrance is of a subdued and understated wear - by analogy you would not want Donald Trump to be playing James Bond. From the personal perspective of an ex-smoker who has given up cold turkey for close to 18 years now, Tabarome does hit the spot when the tobacco yearning comes about now and then. Backup bottle worthy for sure.

Review based on a new F batch 100ml bottle. This really is a hidden gem in the Creed lineup. It is an excellent fragrance. It is a cooler weather fragrance but I will be wearing it all year excluding the hottest summer days. Beyond Royal Oud and maybe Original Santal, most Creed fragrances are better suited to warm weather. Tabarome will be seeing year round use along with my Royal Mayfair and Bois du Portugal. Tabarome lasts longer than most other Creed fragrances and projects very well. It isn’t overly sharp or in your face strong, so IMO this is 100% office friendly and will fit just about any occasion (except the beach 😜). This is a bit of a unique fragrance and the note pyramid above is pretty accurate... opens with a blast of citrus (bergamot) and ginger and dries down to a very nice blend of tobacco (green!), amber, wood and leather. Also, it is surprisingly fresh for this scent profile. Drawbacks... Tabarome would likely be considered a “mature fragrance” by many, but a younger guy could likely pull it off. Definitely not a blind buy IMO. Also, like all Creed fragrances, Tabarome is expensive. The current price of around $220USD/100ml from the discounters is much more palatable than the $400-450 retail price, but there are A LOT of amazing fragrances from other fragrance houses available these days in that price range. @freshliving posted a great review below. Green tobacco vs. the standard “cigar lounge” smelling pipe or cigar tobacco is dead on. 👍

I love Tabarome...overtly masculine, but not overly bold, and a great fragrance for both the office or date night; one of my top five tobacco ~and~ top five ginger fragrances ~and~ top ten Fall scents. To me, Tabarome is a wonderful tobacco, spiced-ginger and ambergris fragrance - and I also detect a pleasing leather note (underrated IMO) lurking in the background during the first hour or two. The tobacco in this fragrance reminds me of smelling half-green/half-brown tobacco leaves being sun cured...just sprinkle liberally with spices and ginger and there you have it, Tabarome. A fairly simple composition, but add or subtract one ingredient and it is no longer a masterpiece. Tabarome is a work of olfactory art! Personally, I don't get much of a tea vibe out of this scent--just a rich tobacco--but every once in a great while I'll get a whiff of that Gucci Pour Homme II tea note, but it quickly disappears. Perhaps it's how the spice/ginger interacts with tobacco and one's skin chemistry? I don't know, but this fragrance never fails to impress or charm. Performance is a good in that it lasts a solid 6-hours on my skin and projects moderately, which is just fine for this kind of Fall evening fragrances. Tabarome is indeed, "A fragrance for men who aspire to be leaders." If you like tobacco and ginger then you're gonna love this one...if not, it's still work sampling.

Millesime imperial replaced by : ginger, and drydown less musky more leathery. Nice scent tough but not worth his price since it has a terrible performance. Have to say it’s in the same ballspark as royal Mayfair. They are mature and different enough to call it niche. Definitely special smell and unique but the Sillage is ridiculous bad. However, I have it in my collection and will keep it. There is no tobacco in this, the mid has some green touch maybe of tobacco flowers? The base has tobacco says here but the base is so weak... I just smell ginger some lemon and leather rounded with a small amount of ambergris. Again nice scent poor performance. After aventus it’s the one with bad performance of all my creeds Edit: in cooler weather and after some maceration in my wine fridge on 19 Celsius degrees this scent came to live. Now it smells like real green tobacco flowers!! It’s so nice. Still no good performance it’s a skin scent but it’s so pure and natural that it cannot linger the whole day unfortunately. The leather and ambergris combination makes it very salty and animalic leathery.. but since the spices and ginger still shines you don’t feel it’s to much animalistic. I can’t say what’s dominant here since you can name them all.. it’s so perfectly blended. Hope it won’t be discontinued.. let’s seek for another older batch (2016) <-

At first spray, some might be repulsed by this, its heavy, strong checmical like, in youre face. The initial spray reminds me a little bit of Erolfa, however the strong ginger note seperates the two, I do find the citrus freshens up the mix, for a while, until the dry down where it becomes a very dry, green scent with the ginger in the background, as its already been mentioned, the tobacco is very fresh/green, not ashy, its not over the top but I feel that it blends very well with the mix. I get solid longevity from this (6-8+ hours easily which is a winner in my books) as well as projection and sillage, I wore it today and it was projecting fairly nice and even after 4 hours. I see alot of reviews stating this scent is very mature+suit and tie, I can definately see that however I also find that if you wear it appropriately (meaning light on the trigger here) it has more versatility+very pleasant to wear, no complaints with this frag at all. Overall, I really like this Creed very much (easily top 3 to me) its more masculine than most of the others that are talked about (ex, SMW, VIW, OS, MI, etc) and although you might not get all the greatest compliments in the world with this one (can come off very harsh) to me its an acquired taste i like very much and thats all i care about.

Fresh, spicy, citrus with a base of tobacco and leather. Amazing! All too often overlooked in favour of it’s less interesting cousin Aventus, Tabarome is a truly underrated Creed gem. Opening in a big way with a blast of bergamot and fresh-peeled ginger to create an accord akin to green tobacco, Tabarome could easily be confused for a spring time only fragrance at this point. There’s no ashiness, no dirtiness, no pipes or cigarettes. No, the tobacco accord here is that of the fresh leaf; green, wet, slightly sour. The opening, eventually settling, yields to a long lasting juicy mandarin note atop a black tea accord tinged with the still fresh ginger. Several hours in and tobacco, plush leather, sandalwood, and ambergris come to manifest the base in a warm, richly balsamic manner not at all hinted at in the opening or heart. Tabarome’s development is extraordinarily complex, the quality exceptional. A masculine fragrance dominated by green tobacco and ginger before leather and smoky woodiness, Tabarome exudes a purposefully dignified strength. Wearing best in spring and fall, longevity is long lasting with moderate-cum-soft sillage. 9/10

This one has realy grown on me. It is an underated gem. It is complex, and that's one of the reasons it takes a while to discover. This is green herbal, fresh, yet has warm richness from the sandalwood and Creed Ambergris dna. The opening is a fresh ginger and green tobacco accord. This is a great all around aromatic. It defines "aromatic" as a class of fragrance with great blending and quality of notes. The first 1/2 hour opening the ginger may be to stark and off putting for some, but I like it. When that ginger blast settles, you see the smooth warmer, rich base notes of patchouli, leather and sandalwood. I was guessing balsamic resins w/o looking at the notes, but none here. I keep thinking aromatic, because apart from the ginger and tobacco, the other notes are well blended and don't stand out on their own. The touch of Ambergris and orange, add to the all around beauty and freshness of Taberone. Great aromatic, masculine, fresh fragrance for Fall and Spring. Rating: 9/10 God bless. John 3:16

Amazing!!! What a great fragrance and possibly the best progression of any Creed. In this regard it reminds me of bois du Portugal the way the notes change throughout. Starts out with a blast of lemon and bergamot citrus which settles into a gorgeous juicy and long lasting mandarin orange note which is spiced with the roughness of ginger and dry yet refreshing tea in the heart. It then drys down after several hours to a tobacco and amazing leather which is not totally unexpected but really took me by surprise as it's not that evident in the first few hours. I'd read lots of lacklustre reviews about Tabarome not being as good as the original and all of that but who cares? I've never tried the vintage Tabarome and judging by how rare and expensive it is I probably never will, all I know is that this is yet another classic men's fragrance from Creed. Fresh, classic, long lasting what's not to like about this? My favourite Creed keeps changing and now this one is in the running.

A fantastic Creed that probably gets panned for sitting between the stodginess of BdP and the old-school gang, and being unable to dethrone the new school kings of Green Irish Tweed and Aventus. Green Valley was positioned the same way and got vaulted; I hope Tabarome doesnt see an identical fate. Let me preface this by saying I get an easy 8 hours from 4 sprays, which is good for Creeds and definitely good for my skin, whose luxurious and subtle natural musk will devour any fragrance that doesnt want to play nice with it :3 Do not go into this expecting a tobacco bomb. It is there, but the emphasis is on ginger, bergamot/citrus, the leather/patchouli base, and the ever present millesime ambergris. It performs very well in the heat and is easily appropriate for an office setting. It is not in your face macho or masculine; those reviewers saying so must be talking about vintage Tabarome, which now has its own separate entry in the database. Highly recommended from this house.

I've gotten frustrated trying to find a great tobacco dominant fragrance. I think it's just one of those great scents we love, that can't properly be distilled into a fragrance, like coffee is another one. Taberone leaves me very satisfied, because it is uniquely the only tobacco fragrance that has a true green tobacco leaf distilled essence in it. I had an uncle who had a tobacco farm in Canada. I remember going into the sheds where they hang up the bunches of tobacco leaves to dry. This is exactly that scent! I also love the ginger, and overall naturalness of this fragrance. Yes, it is very unique and classy, a great signature fragrance for cooler days. There is a good dose of the Creed signature ambergris, it's salty and goes great with the ginger and green tobacco accord. I have set this as my signature frag for the Fall, and ordered a vintage backup. I don't want to take a chance on the new formulation. My review is from a vintage. Rating: 10/10 God bless. John 3:16

I really like this a lot, but I'm honestly so confused about the Tabarome/Tabarome Millisime thing. Why do both bottles say that but then they are two different fragrances? Am I buying the right one?? Anyway, very well balanced. I get tobacco but it isn't dry or cigarette-ish. Just sort of green and pleasant. There's some mild spice and citrus here, and the leather, ambergris, and patchouli are surprisingly subtle, and just kind of create a pleasant masculine accord that is more clean than earthy. I usually don't like anything heavy on patchouli or ambergris and this isn't. I'm not sure if this is weird to say but on me it feels like a "your skin but better" fragrance but one that is done as a classic masculine cologne. It feels both vintage and modern, present but fresh, detectable but never overwhelming. I really like this a lot, and will likely venture a purchase, if I can figure out what the heck I'm meant to be buying.

Tabarome is highly underrated. This one won't wow you right off the bat. Don't expect to sniff this and be blown away. However, after I sampled it on my wrist a couple times, and decided to give it a full wear - that's when I "got it." It's unbelievably classy, but I'd argue that it doesn't smell dated, or "old man." I smell little pieces of classic fragrances in this one, blended with something that makes this slightly modern and very wearable. I'd put this alongside Green Irish Tweed in that department - they're both so classic, yet, modern at the same time, it blows my mind. This stuff is pretty strong. 3 sprays lasted all day, my wife complimented me about 6 hours after application today. I was also in the mall, and had a few younger girls following me, and I could hear them saying how good I smell. Seems to be liked by all demographics. This is a real winner, and I'm fine with it being underrated!

Bought a sample many years ago, and I didn’t like it. It took time for me to understand this scent. It’s not a cold weather, cozy gourmand type tobacco scent. This is more suited to a tropical luxury cigar club meeting. One that would meet on a tropical beach in Havana. It’s a slightly fresh approach to the tobacco genre. This doesn’t give the “plush robe smoking next to a fire lace” vibe. More of a “enjoying a cigar on a lush tropical sunset”vibe. The top is nice, although it doesn’t have the same “pop” as other creed top notes have. Creed has the best top notes imho For me, next thing that comes through is the creed ambergris accord. Lastly, we get that lovely creed musk, accompanied by a very smooth leather vibe, not harsh or abrasive like pyralone, very smooth leather. This is a lovely tropical lounge scent. It may take some time to understand, but it is classsy and under appreciated.

There are some really poor Creed fragrances, EROLFA, Himalaya and some underrated ones. TABAROME is a very signature scent worthy fragrance that is made for a man who knows who he is. He knows his place, has had his victories and now he gets to enjoy them. Lucky for the wife, girl, in his life. TABAROME is subtle, different and masculine. Millesime stands for the highest standards of perfumery. Hand mande to perfection. I sure hope so under the agreement with BLACKROCK those standards don't come to a halt. It's nothing Tom Ford, Versace, Dior, Hugo Boss will ever be able to create. A gem of class lasting the whole day for you to enjoy. BTW, if you layer TABAROME and Tom Ford Noir Extreme Parfum, Tabarome shines thru, that's because it's to bad performing, right? I rest my case. If you like my thoughts hit the 👍 button.

Woah, what a wonderful surprise. I've always overlooked Tabarome because the notes and bottle didn't promise much, and I was always afraid this would be an old man's scent. But, I am so glad I gave it a chance. I had no idea what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with how crisp and smooth the citrus opening was. The smoothness continues into the drydown with an airy, yet sweet ambergris and tobacco accord. This is what Dolce & Gabbana The One wishes it was. Just like Bois du Portugal, the least "out there" Creeds have been the ones I've enjoyed the most. Tabarome oozes class, and is without a doubt modern and masculine. Absolutely lovely, and unfortunately overshadowed by Creed's most overrated offerings.

I just obtained the vintage bottle today. To be honest, it wasn't what I expected! I purchased it blindly and I expect it to be strong and harsh, but to my surprise, it is very soft and smooth. It opens with a fresh citrus smell along with slightly menthol ginger. The drydown is very classy and gentleman. The tobacco note is so smooth and sweet. Simply loving it! A very underrated perfume from the house of Creed! I'm so glad that I have it in my collection as tobacco is one of my favourite notes. Now, Creed Tabarome Millesime will sit along with my other tobacco fragrances, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Mancera Red Tobacco, Parfums de Marly Herod, Penhaligon Roaring Radcliff, etc. A must have!

I totally agree with Samurai23. My first impression was "Hey, this is classy!" As I became wrapped up in daily life stuff, I wasn't thinking about fragrance & nearly forgot about it altogether. Later in the day I got in my car and this gorgeous fragrance seemed to come out of nowhere. I actually began looking around for the source! Then I realized I been nose-blind. I think the walk in fresh air to my car had reset my nose. I love it. You might think you can put the notes together to have idea about Tabarome -- but you will likely be wrong. Because, the way it developers reveals a whole spectrum of notes. The dry down is a beautiful surprise.

Wow! Wow! WOW! Fresh, clean, slightly sweet and sexy! Sophisticated, sexy, masculine and oh so intriguing and alluring! I tried this in Creed today and it was love at first sniff. I am a lady and I love it! It opens with a fresh bergamot and the orange blended very well with the tobacco, sandalwood and ginger. It’s very smooth and expertly blended, it’s not spicy nor tart nor earthy nothing sticks out. The tobacco is nothing like that in Tobacco vanille it’s much more subtle and blended together with the other notes. This is 11/10 and i would recommend it! I see someone like Prince Carl Philip or Hugh Grosvenor wearing this scent.

Creed Tabarome has one of the weirdest transformations I experienced when it come to its chemistry with my skin. It turns smelling like fresh bamboo with hint of lemongrass. Like something you would totally expect only from Japanese perfumers. ...And I'm actually like it. It smells incredibly fresh, light and natural. It is my Spring in a bottle. Projection and sillage is moderate at best, but longevity is very good, 10-12 hours, making it perfect office/workplace perfume. It probably is my 2nd after Aventus favorite Creed perfume. Well, in my case it's 2 perfumes in 1, since if I spray it on my clothes it smell totally different.

Went back to revisit my sample of this beauty and bought a bottle instantly. I must say this is Creed's most interesting fragrance. It seems out of place compared to everything else they produce. Though it may not seem like it, Tabarome is a very complex fragrance. It starts off sharp, pungent, and animalic. But be patient. This thing transcends and develops into a very classy tobacco composition. I just love the dry down to this one, I get a hefty dose of ginger root tea, tobacco, leather, and gorgeous ambergris. A bit contradicting but non-the-less exquisite and refined. The overall scent reminds me of an unlit cuban cigar.

Likeable citrus-ginger scent with woody patchouli base. Very fresh, masculine, elegant. A bit too simplistic for Creed? Maybe... The ginger accord here is beautiful and nothing like the current designer "Ginger ale" notes, this is the real deal! The tobacco here is created by dark, green patchouli and is not a front runner, more of a secondary note (even though the name implies tobacco scent, it is really not). Modest longevity and projection (like with many Creeds nowadays) but a great daily beater scent for smart or business casual occasion. Has nothing to do with the vaulted vintage Tabarome Creed, that one was a beast!!!

I will be receiving a 10ml decant of this fragrance after buying a 120ml of Bois Du Portugal. Not only do I adore woody, and spicy scents, but tobacco is also a scent that when done right, is truly amazing. Now, I have smelt this (mostly the trigger) at a Creed counter at Holt Renfrew. It is wonderful. I haven't tested on my skin yet, so this is kind of like a blind buy for me. I will update when I actually test this one out. The fact this was worn by Sir Winston Churchill, makes me want to wear it even more. Ginger, tobacco, bergamot, leather. Sounds quite unique, and worthy of a Creed to try.

So at the onset of putting Tabarome on my skin, It comes across as it's going to be a spring scent, almost a mix of green, citrus and light woody notes, but within the first few minutes it starts to change into almost pure leather and tobacco, before unveiling the full bouquet of it's scent. Never once did I think it smelled bad, never once did I wonder if I liked it. This juice smells amazing, it really gives Aventus a run for its money, I honestly don't know which I like better now. PS. Humphrey Bogart and Winston Churchill wore this as their signature scent, but it really is timeless.

The best perfume from the house of Creed. I dont know why no one talks about this. I smelled ir in Italy, during a trip with my gf, bought a 5ml sample for 10€. (Farmacia Durante Roma). Used the sample and got so many compliments. Its unique, a fresh tobacco, you can definitely smell the ginger aswell. In my opinion this is a year round fragrance, but during autumn and summer evenings it’s when it shines. My signature scent for life! Im thinking of buying some reserve bottles! My gf begs me to use it 🤣 its that good Its a gentleman scent, not for those who dont seem confident at all.

I have come to find that my favorite Creed fragrances are generally the more unknown or less popular ones. I just got a bottle of Tabarome and it is the one I always seem to want to reach for when looking at my selection. I really like how this projects especially once the skin warms up. A pleasant and manly scent, I thought I was smelling a bit of Eucalyptus but I did not see that listed as a note in the fragrance. This stuff is classic. I wish I had picked this one up first tbh, I mean I own quite a few Creeds but this is the easiest to reach for imo. Excellent fragrance.

This one is fantastic. Not easy to understand, but once you get it, you’ll love it. The best way to describe it is a scent designed for a 60s French movie star. It has the freshness of a cologne, but the tobacco and boozy accords give it that Alain Delon in a suit, smoking a cigarette after leaving a bistró kind of feel. To get this, watch French cinema hits from the 60s like Le Samouraï or Le Cercle Rouge. A mature scent, 40 plus. It takes gigantic confidence to pull this one off in your 30s. Amazing dry down.

For the price they sell it for I need it to be outstanding in an at least one field, which it isn't. It smells good, masculine, warm, tobacco, amber, ambergris etc but it still smells OK. Doesn't blow me away - warm masculine grown up smell. The performance is ok, moderate projection 6h of longevity. Quality is OK - doesn't seem turbo natural. It's just OK, and for the price I need it outstanding - smelling great, or of super quality, or super performance. It's just fully mediocre, hence highly overpriced.

I'm rediscovering how good this is, since Spring has sprung. This used to be less expensive a few years ago, when I purchased my bottle. It seemed not to be popular, and really good deals could be found, like $100/ 75 ml. Sometimes I liked it a lot, other times it was unimpressive, to much ginger, etc. Now that it's warm again, I realized what a solid masculine aromatic this is. The ginger, and green Tobacco leaf are dominant. But you get whiffs of the other good notes, ambergris, tangerine, etc.

Very classy citrus sitting on top of a green tobacco, ambergris, and leather base. Slightly dirty in a way but the ginger gives it a menthol like effect that makes it feel refreshing and clean. Leans mature but very unique, not sure I could name a scent like it. I get a somewhat cocoa vibe/note in the dry down here and its magnificent when blended with the sandalwood/leather base. Im tempted to get a bottle once I run out of Himalaya as these seem rather interchangeable.

This is a very clean, smooth, airy and light tobacco scent. I like it a lot. Manly and professional. It's different to most other Creed fragrances which are super light and inoffensive... too inoffensive I think. Aventus and Tabarome have more of a bite which Ilike very much. Montabaco Intensivo is very similar to this with the exception of the iris in MI which I don't like. Iris makes a perfume super fluffy and cute and ruins every masculine fragrance to my brain.

I first smelled this last week and it was interessting. First a big burst of tangerine och bergamot. When it dry down it was at liilte more spicy with the notes of the ginger btu it was not to spicy. In my opinion it was calming. After an hour or so the basenotes were very balanced and nothing took over. This is a very verstile fragrance. You can have to the office if you want to be more classy and old money type of vibe. Smell 8,5/10 Performance 7/10 Price 6,5/10

This is what Creed used to be about. I keep hearing the newer releases attempt to appeal to a broader public and have olfactory qualities in line with modern scent profiles (as of 2026). I got myself a bottle of Tabarome 2011 and can’t help but think how different are things now. The signature ambergris Creed was known for is very much present, and the notes are presented in a smooth, gentlemanly, distinctive manner that only adds up to its own character.

First time getting into fragrances and got a sample of this as my first Creed. I really liked this one, smells very fresh tangerine up front with a bit of light tan leather in the background, not a dark leather smell. Could really wear this in any setting other than maybe an outside cold winter night wouldn't be the best fit but it would still work. I think this really fits an atmosphere like Tampa in Spring or Summer. Huge cigar lounge vibes

I have five Creed fragrances, and I bought them because they're so well blended. Tabarome is one of these. As a result, sometimes it's a little difficult to pick apart the underlying ingredients. The notes that stand out most to me are tobacco, ginger, ambergris, and the opening citrus top notes. Together, this makes for a warm, slightly-sweet, and delicious scent. It also smells incredibly refined. I'm surprised this one isn't more popular.

Anyone else think the “green tobacco leaf” is actually just plain old vetiver? I mean, Tabarome isn’t a world away from Guerlain Vetiver, which also boasts a tobacco note. The tobacco in the Guerlain is a side-effect of the vetiver used. So essentially what we have in Tabarome is a standard classy vetiver fragrance, enhanced by the usual citruses and spices to create a formal affair.

Unexpected, underrated surprise. My fav Creed. Opens mix citruses with ginger, followed by rum, musk and other notes like tea, coffee, tobacco. Tobacco creeps in and is strong in the end. Changes come along as new notes do not overshadow others , but join the party. I get a bit of cherry piped tobacco in the middle sometimes. I wish it would have more citruces in the opening. 0/10

Autumnal. Somber. One of the most distinctive of all the creeds I've sampled. Very unique. I'll have this in my collection until my dying day (availability and sufficient funds to purchase required, obviously). Please don't discontinue, please, please, please with an overfilled ashtray on top) I strongly encourage you, the reader, to sample this wonderful scent.

Although this scent is pretty damn good, I have to unfortunately return it because of its lack of performance. I don't mind splurging on a nice scent, but it has to give me my money's worth. It needs to stick around for a bit and not take off if you know what I mean. So in a nutshell, the actual scent is about a 9/10 for me, but a 2/10 for performance.

The most mature scent out there. It smells great, the beginning is strong and the dry down is perfect. Strictly suit and tie and only important events fragrance. Not for the club or everyday use. This bottle should be with me for about 5 years since i will only use it strictly for the most of important and mature events.

For the first few minuets its only citrus and ginger its really punch and in your face for first 30 minuets but not in a bad way.after an hour you can get fresh tobacco leaves plus ginger and projection decrease drastically after 1-2 hour mark. you cant hate it , but for the price you have better option than this 6/10

I got to sample this in Harry Rosen. In my opinion, I found this to be quite generic. If this was indeed created for Winston Churchill, My thoughts are why? I feel like this wouldn't be something he wore. I was anticipating more of a cigar, tobacco, boozy smell. But all I could detect was just a plain generic scent.

This is definitely a vintage cologne. I have owned two or three bottles. For years I would use this to blend with other Creed fragrances. Is it okay for a mature smell. I enjoy the sweet tobacco leather smell. I will wear this occasionally and still get compliments. You only need one or two sprays.

I absolutely LOVE this cologne. I wore it, for the first time, at my Goddaughter's wedding 7 years ago. I have been using it since then and everytime I wear it I get compliments. I love the warm feel of it and it lasts a long time on me. I do smell the tobacco which is very nice.

Tabarome fades quickly on my skin so I apply a bit of oil beforehand to make it stick - and it lasts much longer. I like this fragrance ALOT & it drives my GF crazy in a good way. It's a bit expensive so I'm not sure I'll buy another 4 oz. Good Stuff!
