Vetiver Geranium

عطر بسیار خوشبویی هست و رایحه گیاهی مرکباتی با کمی گل و ادویه تازه داره ، مناسب هوای گرم و معتدل برای هر دو جنس مشترک و بیشتر مردانه و اگر با لباس و پوست تمیز استفاده بشه اثر بیشتری خواهد داشت به چند عطر و ادکلن با فضای چوبی مرکباتی شباهت هایی داره اما در واقع بوی این ادوپرفیوم منحصر بفرد و خاص هست و در کنار مشابهاتش بوی کاملا مجزا و خاص خودش را داره من از برند کرید حدود 20 عطر مختلف را تست و حتی استفاده کردم و تنها عطری که یک بطری کامل را خریداری کردم همین عطر هست و البته عطر من دارای همین بطری اما دربش طلایی رنگ هست از نظر پخش بو خوبه و با اینکه زیاد طوفانی نیست اما در برابر چند عطر خنک دیگه بطور همزمان بوی قابل تشخیصی داره و حدود 2 تا 3 ساعت مشخص هست و ماندگاری حدود 6 تا 7 ساعت روی پوست نیمه چرب و 10 تا 12 ساعت روی لباس کتان چند سال پیش خریدمش به ارز آزاد 220 دلار آمریکا و تنها عطری که برای من میتونه در کنار این عطر استفاده بشه ادوتویلت گرلن هوم لئو هست که البته از هر کدوم یک عدد دارم و چون خیلی کمیاب یا بیش از حد گرون شدند باید در مواقع خیلی خاص ازشون استفاده کنم تا چند سال داشته باشمشون عکس این عطر هست : https://cdn.imgurl.ir/uploads/l931611_01_-_Box_Full.jpg ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It is a very fragrant perfume and has a citrus herbal scent with a bit of flowers and fresh spices , suitable for warm and temperate weather for both sexes and is more masculine, and if used with clean clothes and skin, it will have a greater effect . It has some similarities to some perfumes and colognes with a citrus woody atmosphere , but in fact the smell of this eau de parfum is unique and special , and it has its own completely separate and special smell compared to its counterparts . I have tested and even used about 20 different perfumes from the Creed brand , and the only perfume that I bought a whole bottle of is this perfume , and of course my perfume has the same bottle but the cap is golden . It is good in terms of spreading the scent , and although it is not very stormy , it has a recognizable smell at the same time compared to some other cool perfumes , and it has semi-good sillage for about 2 to 3 hours and lasts about 6 to 7 hours on semi-oily skin and 10 to 12 hours on linen clothes . I bought it a few years ago for 220 US dollars , and the only perfume that can be used with this perfume for me is Guerlain Homme L'Eau EDT , which Of course , I have one of each , and since they are so rare or so expensive , I have to use them on very special occasions so I can have them for a few years . So crisp and fresh it feels like I'm still in the shower. I just feel slightly more suave and dressed up! Maybe a crisp white shirt and sunglasses, drinking white wine on the Amalfi coast, under a sunshade in a quaint town-square. There's a particular scene from James Bond Casino Royale that springs to mind. Anyway it's definitely not a vetiver-centric scent, but that's not a bad thing, it's just a strange name. It's a straight-up, fresh green floral musk, and amazingly unisex. It's not a sugary-sweet floral, it has a slight earthiness and only a crisp, appley dry-sweetness (if that's not a contradiction?). VG isn't a geranium soliflore but in a way seems pretty close to me. Exquisitely blended to bring out the different facets of geranium. The lemon, lime and mint highlight the zing from the gernanium leaves. Apple in turn brings out more lushness or wetness from the lemon-lime. Patchouli and vetiver enhance the earthiness of the geranium (although both are in small amounts to me). A touch of cinnamon spice, then a tonne of the usual Creed musk finish it off. Barely a vetiver in sight but utterly gorgeous. It'll make you feel like a million bucks for an hour or two but then all the good stuff fades rapidly and you're left with a warm musk. Typical eau de cologne performance - and this is it's downfall, it just doesn't last. Plus, I often crave this fragrance but once on, I rarely enjoy it as much as I thought I would and I'm never sure why. (It's not you, it's me.) Perhaps the drydown is lacking? I wonder that it'd be like with a Chanel remix? Great in spring/warm (~18-23C) weather.

The opening of Vetiver Geranium is like bubbly apple champagne, lightly sweet, effervescent and fizzy. It’s so good that I almost want to drink it, but I don’t think that would be a good idea. The dry-down is like heaven, a smoothly blended composition of rose, cedar, earthy vetiver and musk that makes me smell divine. I’m obsessed with this elegant and classy fragrance that has everything I need and more. I’ve worn it a couple of times and always got positive reactions from others. They always compliment me on how good I smell and ask me what I’m wearing. Once, I had a presentation for my second degree in university, and I chose to wear this scent in the summer heat. The scent spread around the room in a subtle way and I got massive attention from everyone, girls and guys 😉. To me, this is a youthful and clean scent that has an old-rich aesthetic, strongly recommended for young guys like me! But don’t take my word for it, try it yourself and see how many people will compliment you. Or at least your smell.

Don't say you hate geranium until you try this perfume. This is geranium so tame, so civilized, so cleaned up that it dresses itself up, goes to the store and buys you a basket of golden apples and a bouquet of roses to boot. It's a lesson in what geranium can do when it's done right. The dry down is a beautiful earthy pachouli that is somehow also clean and smooth as can be. I love this stuff. Always have to have a bottle. That said, Creed's new bottle with the reddish hue is so criminally watered down that I have to spray 7 or 8 sprays for any projection and it's gone in 2-3 hours. If someone can come up with a convincing dupe that lasts longer I'll be all over that. Update: I hate how genius this concoction is. I never seem to lose interest in it and it keeps growing on me more with time. The apple/geranium/rose combination give it a pleasant, uplifting quality while the patchouli/vetiver dry down give it a serene, earthy, contemplative, serious, elegant quality. Rasquinet did an amazing job.

This can have a special spot in ones collection. It is unique fresh fragrance. I was thinking of the fresh spectrum in fragrances. We have the most fresh effervescent citrus fragrances, then the fresh Neroli colognes. Then some add a fruitiness to the citrus which is very satisfying, and you don't need to loose much effervescence. I love how Creed adds the sour green apple to their citrus accord making it more fruity, and you get that with Vetiver Geranium. Vetiver Geranium has a unique spot in the fresh spectrum, in that it is a very fresh fragrance with more... You have the light vetiver and the green and floral geranium, that makes this a great fresh fragrance for warmer Fall days, earthy, apples, vetiver, reminiscent of the smells of Autumn, harvest, earth. It's become a little too sweet for my taste. Will still be nice mostly for warm Summer days, early Fall. Rating: 8/10 God bless. John 3:16

When I purchased Erolfa, I got Vetiver Geranium as a sample along with about 9 others! Creed hooked me up. I really have to say this one surprised me! I couldn't imagine liking something with this name. It is really addictive. I would get this before a few of the more popular fragrances they carry. I can't believe this doesn't get more love. I definitely get more citrussy white flower accords in the opening. I don't get a lot of Granny Smith apple in the opening as described. The Geranium really shines with just a hint of Rose and Cinnamon. In the base I get Vetiver, Patchouli, and Cedar. Perfect for summer hot days... Smell 5/5 Longevity 5/5 Sillage 4/5 I will be buying if I can get it at a good price because it is quite different than anything else I've smelled.

This one.. how can I say, it was a love from first sniff for me, typical clean dna of creed.. rich bright and natural. The green apple is accurate and same as in aventus and spice and wood. It develops to a dry fougere kind of scent with that minty geranium coming very soft from the skin. Someone here below mentioned viking cologne dna and that’s also correct. Viking, viking cologne, spice and wood.. this is between and somehow bit more relaxing. If it’s redundant I don’t know.. have to wear it few more times but I really do love it, while with viking cologne and spice and wood I had to get used to it more. Performance first time was ok.. 6 hours at max projection 1/2 hours max but again it’s the first time so it will develop much more..

I sampled this yesterday and all I can say is WOW! I am totally in love with this fragrance, it is GORGEOUS!! I haven't been wowed in a while, so this took me by surprise. If you're not a vetiver lover, this may be for you. There is no vetiver listed in "Vetiver Geranium", but it still gives you that fresh vetiver feel! I'm a Vetiver lover so it's a bonus. I think it's the lemon and patchouli together that perhaps is creating this type of scent. The geranium gives it this hint of floral sweetness to romanticize and round out the composition. So in essence, it's "romantic", floral yet remains very fresh. This is SPRING IN A BOTTLE! This is almost certain to be my next purchase.

No vetiver here, when first applied you get such a beautiful burst of various notes. Floral, citrusy and they come at you at various levels at different times during the wearing. On me it's straight up geranium throughout while there is a background of other notes, mostly floral/citrus. I don't get the musk, cedar or amber and patchouli outright but I'm guessing they come together to form that great "wall of notes" behind the geranium. It actually worked for seven hours on me and had good projection. Does not smell ordinary.

Vetiver Geranium is the reason I came back to Creed fragrances after my Long journey in Artisanal Perfumery. I was subjugated the first time I tried this one, definitely in my top 3 from the house. Extremely elegant and refined, the Vetiver isn't the main player, it settles in the background and creates a woody green vibe. Geranium with its rosy facets emanates from the beginning until the end. The longevity is amazing compared to other Creed perfumes, the concoction is very oily. 10/10 a must try when available again.

Vetiver Geranium to me was love at first sniff right away. The citruses are quite strong especially in the opening and elevate my mood every single time I smell the atomizer. I cannot detect any vetiver, which is good news for me. If you like geranium, patchouli and cinnamon with some granny smith apples you seriously owe it to yourself to try this. At this point I cannot see myself without this high class masculine Creed in my rotation. I wear it all year round. Signature scent worthy for sure.

Geranium 3-D That dry black peppery aspect of vetiver is (sort of) like the smell of geranium leaves. That being said, this perfume is all about geranium with all its nuances (not minty like Mall's Geranium, or creamy like the new Equipage) the smell is cool, light, ciliate and dry, feels like touching the geranium leaves (if i should translate the sense perception). Projection is very good in the first hour (five sprays) Longevity: +8 hours High quality

Wow, just noticed the prices have gone up for this. I used to think this was a great deal for a solid fragrance. It went for $120 for good deals. Its a fresher, more playful "Spice and Wood". It has less spice, the green apple is stronger here, but it does lack some depth as some have mentioned, but that accounts for the lower cost. I like it best in the harvest season, the Fall.

Amazing release by creed. Love how vibrant it is, before a nice earthiness with a touch of cedar mellows out things in the dry down. Will be buying a full bottle of this soon. Great for any day time occasions, and actually lasts quite a while on me with moderate projection. Decent surprise!

This fragrance is best in early Autumn. But I'm really enjoying it now in Summer. It does go along the lines of a Terre de Hermes vetiver, it's earthy, vetiver, fruity fresh. It's a bit fresher than TdH, and the geranium gives it a green classiness. The green apple is crisp and fresh.

I call it "Champagne Vetiver". That's what it smells like. It's refreshing and crisp. It's amazing. Worth buying. It leans more "classic" than modern. It's got arm's length sillage and lasts a good 5-6 hours. In my opinion this is the best of Creed's Acqua Originale collection.

This is stupid good. Hands down the longest lasting summer freshie I have ever had. It was still projecting off my sweater after three days. I don't understand why this one does not get anymore attention than it does. Oh wait, I know why. It's not Aventus. Stupid... 10/10

Just amazing. at first it didnt seem to last and seemed almost non existent after about an hour. but, somehow, it comes back in delicious waves throughout the day. I can still smell it on my clothes for days. thats all.

This is a sleeper scent. Our little secret.. So unique in smell. Unisex. Niche. Nice sillage and lasts a long time. In contrast to other Creed light/flower offerings this performs ridic well. 10/10

One of my favorite vetiver fragrances is Terre D'Hermes. This scent reminds me on TDH as far as the vetiver is concerned. I love wearing this as a change of pace from TDH.

I wear this to work and its a compliment monster. I dare say its the King and Queen of compliments. I do not have a sophisticated sniffer.... but this smells like money.

A highly underrated and hidden gem from Creed, spectacular! A gentleman's scent for all occasions and weather! Great longevity too!

Every things 10/10 ! For summer frag

I wasn't blown away at first, but as it settles down and starts radiating, its beauty becomes apparent. The tart Granny Smith Apple against the rose minty geranium really stands out. Some people are describing that accord as sour, but I don't get outright sourness. There's a creaminess that isn't completely accounted for in the listed accords, and I assume its the amber. A nice fruity creaminess. It seems to perform well, giving me frequent natural wafts. This gets comparisons to Terre d'Hermes but I don't make the connection. Its probably a structural comparison people are making, sort of like the comparison people make between Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Aventus. I get that one, but VG/TdH comparison is a more difficult for me. I certainly am more impressed with Terre d'Hermes than Vetiver Geranium but this is pretty nice. It won't go in my favorites collection, at least for now. Maybe it will grow into it. I can't quit smelling my wrist even though it gives me natural, effortless wafts. Update June 2026: This Vetiver Geranium is better than the new Creed Wild Vetiver. This one was conceived and created under Olivier Creed, who was adamant about and enamored with naturalness. Wild Vetiver has that Amberwood note, so typical of today's synthetic crap.

The first review of this fragrance by sotiriosc does a perfect job of describing the way this smells and progresses so I'll skip that. I love this. Full disclosure Geranium is my favorite floral note in perfume as is cedar my favorite wood. I hope to own this at some point,though I cant justify this quite yet with a nearly full bottle Of Malle Geranium Pour Monsiuer in my closet. This is a 10/10 on smell for me, though cant testify to sillage and lasting power because I am testing from a sample. Gorgeous looking bottle from the pictures and videos I've seen too. Totally unisex i suppose though I've always found Geranium to be masculine for me. Update: Want a full bottle for spring. Perfect in my opinion. Update 2 Electric Boogaloo: Received my full bottle. Been wearing it around the house because this Siberian weather isn't doing it any favors. Great natural uplifting scent, longevity and sillage even indoors is very humble. But...I will catch a nice waft at the stangest times, usually when my skin heats up just a bit.Waiting for warm weather to give a truly fair shake.

With Creed's Vetiver Geranium right from the opening you can easily "see" you are not going to get something in the same style as Guerlain’s Vetiver or Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver, but instead more reminiscent of another Creed creation: Original Vetiver, a lighter version of it with also parts of Spice & Wood. On one side here the vetiver helped by lemon and bergamote is not raw and rooty but rather soft, leafy, green and nicely, not overly soapy. Quite less than the aforementioned Original Vetiver and more in the realm of Mugler’s Cologne. It might also really appeal to Tom Ford Neroli Portofino’s lovers. On the other hand I get a lightly peppery green apple and soft cedar which is what reminds me of Spice & Wood. Geranium, which I learned to appreciate in the middle and base of the amazing Terre d’Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche (It is also very present in Chanel's Egoiste Platinum) is clearly there which smells like lemony-green “unripe” rose for an aromatic semi-freshness that will help the fragrance shine in Spring and those mild weather days.

Geraniums, to me, have always smelled like "unripe roses", almost like taking a barely-budded rose and cutting it open. This scent has that feel when I apply it, and eventually blooms into a full rose. Honestly, this is a scent my Grandmother would have loved. She always loved good-quality things, and this is no exception. It's floral yet earthy amd green; just smelling this fragrance reminds me of looking through her random trinkets in her bedroom. After an hour or two, the scent recovers some masculinity, but although it was fun for sampling purposes, I don't want to smell like my Grandmother's bedroom. This cologne is a pass for me.

I've worn this a bunch lately, I can smell it on me for a couple hours but no one else can. This really is a glorified EDC. Quick anectote that demonstrates the non existant sillage. There is a woman who always picks up on my cologne when we ride the elevator together, and I'm always pretty easy on the trigger btw, but she has a good nose. When she sees me, she immediately tilts her head up and gives a quick sniff before she gives her comment, and today after giving her salutory sniff she said," What happened?, No cologne today". Ugh, I'd gone hard on the sprayer today too. Anecdotal maybe, but this is the norm with Vetiver Geranium.

A mix of patchouli and vetiver. Quite literally a bomb of those two accompanied by some musk and a rose note. It's not bad, but it didn't have the "wow" factor to me. It's very reminiscent, almost identical to the new Guerlain "Habit Rouge Parfum", or should I say that the Guerlain one reminds me of this - minus the Amaretto. It is very aromatic, kind of creamy - I can definitely appreciate this fragrance. I wouldn't wear it personally, maybe on a night out. It's a great scent but not for me. Sample first. Rating: 7/10;

Champagne crispness, floral spiciness, and a tart granny smith apple. Elegant, refreshing, classic scent - not to mention one that quite pleasantly evolves over the course of its longevity. Vetiver is definitely most noticeable at the beginning for me, adding on to the fresh appeal, but it becomes warmer and less zingy as the day progresses. 8.5/10

This reminds me of something, and I can’t put my finger on it. It does have some similarities to Brioni’s Eclat and it’s just as weak in projection. I also picked up some of the Viking Cologne DNA in here. I will definitely use up my decant. However, I will not buy a full bottle. If I want a citrusy, earthy fragrance, I reach for Viking Cologne.

I'm not getting any vetiver note here, so I'm not sure why it's in the name. But the geranium note is fairly strong, mixed with lemon and a bit of patchouli to spice it up. You have to really love geranium to put this in your everyday rotation. A strong like and worthy of an occasional decant but not a love.

I like it and that's about it. It's a pleasant smell. But i would not buy it and would not wear it. There are better vetiver/green fresh fragrances that are more rounded. This smells linear to me.

A sour opening of green apple and lemon, lends way to a intensely strong patchouli based scent. Rose, geranium and cinnamon of the heart are not noticeable to me at all. The woody base of cedar and vetiver is so overwhelmed with patchouli that they too are hardly perceptible. Not being an enormous fan of heady patchouli based fragrances, this was an unfortunate fail for me. Beware of the name of the fragrance, as it is highly misleading; It is neither vetiver nor geranium. For those who love patchouli, your experience with this fragrance may certainly be different than my own. (154) As an aside, the Acqua Originale Collection as a whole was a disappointment for me. I am a huge Creed fan and a definite champion of the brand, and it therefore pains me to admit this. For the most part, there were no real standouts. Many of the fragrances smelled nothing of their titled ingredients. Most were underwhelming. I had such high expectations after the Royal Exclusives Collection, and such amazing classics such a Aventus, Silver Mountain Water, and Mellisime Imperial (to name a few), that I felt utterly let down upon first smelling them in late July. When I learned of the anticipated release of these fragrances two years ago, and then the delay of their release last year (being pushed forward to this year), I feared something was awry. Perhaps my instincts were correct.

déclaration eau de creed ;P this opens with some lemon accord (acidic) and a granny smith apple note with a touch of sweet rose in the background and a hint of some smooth patchouli to round it off on the dry down unfortunately to my nose the vetiver is no where to be found the sour note from the lemon reminds me a lot of cartier - declaration which to some may not justify the cost of this creed longevity is poor & projection is average so expect to respray if you want this to last throughout the day all tho i would say this is a safe scent to wear to work just be careful not to over spray as i find this one to get very heady quick this will be a pass for me as I'm not much of a fan of very acidic smelling scents especially ones that to my nose resemble the declaration line on to the next

Smells like fresh flowers. The smell of fresh flowers is nice ofcourse, but only if it were just that, fresh flowers. But smelling like you're sticking your nose in a bunch of flowers the whole time gets annoying. I couldnt discover any development either so it's a really linear boring scent and I don't think this is suited for men. The longevity and projection are really disappointing too and considering the price it's absolutely not a scent for me. Scent: 4/10 Longevity: 5/10 Projection: 6/10

وتیور ژرانیوم یکی از مشخصه های برند کرید ، طبیعی بودن و کیفیت بسیار بالای اونها هست که همیشه آدم رو به حیرت میاره از نظر کیفیت نت ها و شفافیتشون . این کار خنک از کرید هم از همین خصلت برخوردار هست و اگر طرفدار چنین روایحی که اشاره میشه باشید شما رو بسیار راضی میکنه من باب رایحه . رایحه اپنینگی بسیار دوست داشتنی رو داره که تا چند دقیقه خیلی حس شاداب و پرانرژی ای به ما میده که با بمبی از شمعدانی به همراه لیمو و برگاموت در بستری از وتیور و سدر حس میشه . با گذر زمان کم کم رایحه سیب ترش خیس به کار اضافه میشه و مقداری سمت و سوی رایحه رو تغییر میده که در این مرحله برای عده ای خیلی خوشایند تر میشه و برای عده ای برعکس . مشک هم دوز خیلی بالایی ازش حس نمیکنم ولی حس میشه . پس تا اینجای کار میشه گفت در مجموع که کار بسیار با کیفیت و طبیعی و خوش ساختی در اومده و اگر مبنا قضاوت رایحه باشه باید 10 دقیقه اجازه بدید تا چهره واقعی رایحه رو مشاهده کنید . اما چند مبحث این وسط پیش میاد . اول پرفورمنس هست که پخش متوسط رو به پایین و ماندگاری متوسط رو به بالایی داره نسبت به خنک بودنش . دوم قیمت کار هست . شاید خیلی از کارهای کرید با اینکه قیمت بالایی دارند رو من ارزنده میدونم هنوز هم . مثل رویال عود ، گرین ایریش ، سیلور مونتین و... ولی این کار رو با این قیمت 7 میلیونی اصلا مناسب نمیدونم مخصوصا اگر مورد اول یعنی پرفورمنس کار وسط باشه . پس با این تفاسیر از من چند امتیاز منفی در قبال ارزندگی میگیره . اما اگر کسی فاکتور قیمت رو نخواد در نظر بگیره با عطر باکیفیت و خاصی روبرو هستیم که اصلا نباید بلایند بای بشه چون احتمال دیس لایک داره مخصوصا برای خودتون . به نظرم کار نسبتا یونی سکس هم هست و خانم ها هم میتونن بعضا استفاده کنند و بجز چند دقیقه اول مشکل خاصی برای استفاده خانم ها نمیبینم . اصولا روایح خنک همونطور که قبل تر هم صحبتش شده بود خیلی میلی به محتوا و کاراکتر ندارند و بیشتر کارهای مطرح سعی در شفافیت و کیفیت بالای عناصر داشتند که خب قابل تحسین هم هست . اما کارهای کمی هستند که کاراکتر و شخصیت خوبی داشته باشند و بشه ازشون مفهوم خیلی دوست داشتنی ای استخراج کرد مثل ایر یا رنسانس یا مگاماره و یا ... (که البته تعدادشون کم هست ! ) ولی خب این کار با اونا مقداری فاصله داره در این زمینه . در کل کیفیت و شفافیت و طبیعی و دل نشین بودن رایحه ( اگر طرفدارش باشید ) نمره خیلی خوبی میگیره یچیزی تو مایه های 8 تا 9 و واقعا نمیشه از کیفیت و شفافیت بسیار بالای کار به سادگی عبور کرد ولی اگر تمامی تفاسیر بالا من جمله قیمت و پرفورمنس و سعی در خلق کاراکتر و دیگر موارد در نظر گرفته بشه برای بررسی ارزندگی از نظرم 6.5/10 .

I'll point out that the name is not particularly creative but it is appropriate for the fragrance. Here is what makes this one special: Upon spraying, you get an elegant blast of floral. It’s a floral so hyper-realistic that it creates the illusion of leaning into a geranium plant with eyes closed and nostrils wide. As you continue to smell, you realize Creed has taken extraordinary care to ensure the flower itself is the star (down to the very detail of a spiced cinnamon note that IMO encapsulates the pollen-rich center of the flower) and vetiver no more than the supporting cast. The vetiver supports with a sense of green that makes sure you don't just smell the flower but the full immediate environment. About 10 minutes in, the geranium is still the main player but the focus really starts to become the full picture. Before having seen the notes, I was quite confident this had some of Creed's patchouli in it. Clean and grounded, It's the same patchouli that gives Aventus its earthiness. This is a scent that takes you on a walk in a patch of woods not far off the path and from the cares of your day yet exudes the power to lift your mood for a time until you must return to your responsibilities. As with the rest of the line, this is careful to never go too far in the story it tells. What it does tell, however; it does with clarity.

This fragrance is very unique. There are nuances I find that I haven't really found in any fragrance I have come across. The opening is fresh, each inhale gives you a taste of the lemon and bergamot with the sweet green apple being the strongest note. I also sense a very accurate musk in the background. I am getting a soft warm almost spicy musk. As the middle notes come to the surface you get a rose geranium accord that reminds me of gardening. The best i could do to describe it is rosy, with the greeness of gernium stems. The musk at this point is showcasing its ammonia smelling aspects, the cinnamon accentuates this further but is not very noticeable. I think its in here to liven up the musk accord in the fragrance. I also find a lot of woodiness in the mid notes. A good amount of cedar ensuring not to over power the rose and geranium. The base is very masculine. They have perfectly calculated the amount of vetiver to almost be birthed once the other accords have faded. It is present in the opening but last in line. Your left with a powdery base a well chosen amber with an earthy feel of the patchouli and vetiver. Well done fragrance, I love it.

Creed Vetiver Geranium is only the second fragrance in the Acqua Originale line that I've tested on skin, after Cedre Blanc. As with Cedre Blanc, I'm left somewhat indifferent toward Vetiver Geranium. Overall, it's an interesting, unisex floral/fruity mix with a standard base, but I roughly like as much as I dislike about it. The fruit/floral combo is pretty well balance, but I find the apple/geranium mix to be a bit overwhelming, though the supporting ingredients are all there--some nice bergamot and lemon in the opening, cinnamon in the heart, and a muddled patchouli/amber/cedar/musk as a usual suspects line-up of the base. Performance is a bit disappointing. With the Creed price tag comes a high standard and this performs more like a weak EDT, becoming about a skin scent after only a couple hours of wearing. It's a refreshing take on the fruity/floral mix and I can see it working for men and women alike but it's just not for me. 6 out of 10

Just received a full bottle of Vetiver Geranium and I must say "what a great fragrance;" right out the gate I get the (Geranium) flower and perhaps more Geranium than the Vetiver after the initial application. As the fragrance dries, you are left with a wonderful citrusy light aroma that is quite pleasant. It would seem as though the same nose that created this is behind Thierry Mugler's fragrance Cologne, even the already established Original Vetiver. Don't get me wrong there are minor differences, however very similar in drydown. I sprayed both for my wife to detect a difference and she expressed what seem to be similarities in both...I love Creed: in fact, I have a few bottles okay, many..... Overall great fragrance! Revised: if you have either Original Vetiver or even Thierry Mugler's Cologne already in your wardrobe, (suggestion) you don't need to add this....even though I own them all-hahahahaha!!

Honestly, I don’t really review frags on here, but when it comes to one of my FAVORITE scents of ALL time, I feel obligated to say SOMETHING. This won’t be an in depth review, just a few words. I don’t have a “signature” scent, bc I love too many frags, but if I could have one, I’d split it into two seasons. For the colder weather, Royal Oud is my ABSOLUTE favorite... yet, for warmer months, nothing captures my heart more than Vetiver Geranium... PERIOD!!! It will ALWAYS have a place in my wardrobe, and it awakened me to the fact that I LOVE Geranium(as well as Rose and cedar, but Mefisto and Royal Oud did that for me, respectively). I HATE vetiver (as an essential oil), but really appreciate it when formulated well. Please get your nose on this frag... performance is beast mode, and I can see if people say it leans fem. it concerned me at first, but I couldnt keep my nose off of it

Thank you DAddude, finally told me why i just couldn't stand this one. By all means i should have loved it but had to sell my bottle. It doesn't feel complete, just thinking of it i can feel the dry bitterness in the back of my throat. It needed ambergris and musk to thin it out, air it out, and strum the violin through the fragrance to cream it out a bit. Its kinda stale mushy apple instead of crisp apple it could have been with the musk. The geradnium deff needed the ambris to pull some bitterness down too. Still great sent, just didn't feel complete and a bit to astringent.

If we consider vetiver something like we could smell in vetiver pure oil, there is no vetiver here. But, this note is becoming more and more a subjective note in perfumery. Almost anything green can be called vetiver nowadays. As a purist, one could get annoyed with this. As a perfume lover, I don't care. The name should be "Green Geranium", but what matters is that the smell is fantastic, rich, complex. Grass with flowers and a touch of cedar/amber. Great for chic occasions. You will get noticed. Good looking bottle, by the way.

i tried the sample for this one,very modern vetiver smell i think this better smell than vetiver tonka by hermes this is warm and musky fragrance, but,the problem with this fragrances is the stability, it will last for 3 hours then disappear or become a close to skin,to pay this much price for this one is wasting money,you have better choice with other fragrances from the same group like(Asian Green Tea and Aberdeen Lavander) this fragrance suitable for people who doesn't like a very power or uncomfortable smell . overall:6/10.

WOW! I just can't get enough of this fragrance!!! VG is exquisite. Creed should rename it Majestic Geranium. Crisp apple, a hint of citrus, and a lot of green geranium in the open. It then becomes spicy, musky, and amber sweet with lingering florals. But don't let the flower notes fool you. This is a sophisticated, masculine scent for over 30 guys (but some women could rock this too!). Casual or dressed up. Day or night. Outstanding all around performance for me with 5 sprays. Very unique juice. 12/10 (No, that's not a typo!)
